I needed cover for walking the golf course and this is ideal. Useful shade in sun and keeps me dry in rain. The delivery took several attempts to reach the right place, and I was charged for two when only one arrived. That side was frustrating, but the umbrella gets full marks!!

Excellent build quality.
Excellent build quality. Opens smoothly and the flexible ribs have a substantial feel. A longer folded bundle than I had pictured, rather than one of those tiny handbag umbrellas. Not quite pocket portable, but a good choice for regular city rain. Shakes off water nicely.

Still, the sturdy feel and all that coverage are worth it to me.
There is a lot more cover here than I expected from a folding umbrella. For one person it feels really roomy, and you can squeeze together under it if needed. The button is the fun part. One press opens it, another gathers the canopy, then you press the telescoping section down until it latches. I stood there wondering about that last step at first, but once I got it, no problem. It does feel a little heavier in the hand than the pictures suggest. Still, the sturdy feel and all that coverage are worth it to me. If you want something convenient that doesn't feel flimsy, I'd definitely say go for it!

I seriously LOVE this umbrella!
I seriously LOVE this umbrella! My first one got taken and I was so glad to have a replacement! I've carried all sorts over the years, this one is the one I reach for! Rain and breezy days haven't put me off using it! AND there's room to tuck one of my children in beside me! Such a GOOD buy! :)

Fits my medium sized purse
For seven weeks in Thailand this went everywhere with me, through sun, wind & a few showers. Fits my medium sized purse; having shade overhead made the heat easier to bear, and the handle was comfortable to hold. Not something I'd carry as a fashion statement, just a very useful umbrella. And my hair didn't get squashed under a hat. NO HAT NEEDED!

Don't expect the coverage of a huge full length one, though.
At 5'6 and 120lbs I get enough cover from this, despite it being a compact umbrella. Don't expect the coverage of a huge full length one, though. I try not to rush folding it because getting the fabric neat makes it much easier to put away. If you want an idea of the size, think everyday folding umbrella rather than something for a whole family. Very cute anyway, I LOVE the simple look, so it suits me.

I still have a place for a larger umbrella.
My experience with umbrellas bought for blustery weather has been rather mixed, so I had a few things to compare this one with. Of the two I used before, the first was heavy enough that carrying it became a nuisance, and the pull on my hand when a gust caught it was quite noticeable. The other wasn't as heavy, but I still found it awkward to use.
The Haven is easier for me to manage. There is still some weight to it (it isn't one of those tiny umbrellas you forget is in your bag), but I don't find myself fighting it in an ordinary breeze. So far the canopy has kept its shape when I've needed it.
My reason for four stars rather than five is the coverage. Opened up, it looks fairly generous, but I would prefer a little more room around my shoulders. The ribs underneath also mean I can't bring it as low over my head as I'd like. It is useful for one person, though I would want something larger for more coverage. I still have a place for a larger umbrella.
Closing deserves a mention, as that has been an awkward job with my previous umbrellas. A press of the button brings the canopy together, and then I shorten the telescoping shaft myself. I need two hands to finish that part. It takes a definite push, but I haven't needed to plant it against the floor and lean on it, which is a considerable improvement for me.
Taken as a carry-around umbrella, I think it is a good compromise. It goes in a tote without being an enormous object to cart about all day. I'll use this one when rain is possible, and take something larger when I'm expecting to spend much longer out in it. The smaller folded size matters more to me on days when it might never leave the bag.
A couple of smaller details: I like the oval loop handle for carrying it closed. It gives my fingers somewhere to go without having to grip the whole handle. The sleeve is useful for keeping it together in the bag, too.
When it is wet, though, I still leave it open outside the sleeve to dry. That needs a bit of floor space in the doorway. The convenience for me is in carrying it, rather than in putting a wet umbrella away immediately.

I am glad I went ahead with this umbrella.
I am glad I went ahead with this umbrella. I'd seen a lady using a folding one in the rain and immediately wanted something similar. It's pretty but feels sturdy too, which is important with our weather in New England. Just waiting for a wet day now so I can take it out properly. Worth remembering that compact doesn't mean weightless, though. It folds down nicely but has a bit of heft when you're holding it.

Overall, very happy with how they worked.
We had roughly twelve of these for a dance routine in our elementary school's talent show. The children managed them well and the size suited the number nicely. They felt sturdy enough for all the practising and moving about. Only thing to bear in mind is that they're proper umbrellas, so the kids need space between them. Overall, very happy with how they worked.

Ordered this umbrella and overall it's been a good one to carry.
Ordered this umbrella and overall it's been a good one to carry. It feels comfortable in my hand and was lighter than I had imagined. My girlfriend is quite small and hasn't found it heavy either. The automatic opening is handy, although I did need a little practice with putting it away. The button pulls the canopy shut, then the shaft needs pushing down by hand. Once I understood that it was straightforward. After nearly eight months of use I haven't had any real problems with how it works. There are a couple of small things stopping me from giving it five stars though. First, the loop handle doesn't lie as flat in my bag as a plain straight handle would. It isn't heavy or anything, but I have to leave a bit more room around that end. Not a big problem, just something I hadn't thought about. Second, the sleeve is a fairly close fit. You have to take a moment to gather the material neatly rather than trying to stuff it straight in. I tend to leave that job until it has dried anyway. Apart from those points, I'm glad I chose it. The cover is a useful size without the whole thing being awkward to carry around. A larger umbrella might suit some people better, but for me the lighter weight matters more. I'll carry on using this one.

easy enough once youve done it.
i meant this umbrella to be a gift but ended up keeping it, liked it too much lol. it looks nice and theres a good amount of room under it without it feeling huge to carry. the oval loop handle is comfortable, not the sort of open hook i usually have. button pops it up quickly and another press folds the top down, you still push the shaft back in yourself. easy enough once youve done it. water shakes off quite nicely too.im not going to pretend i know how long it will last, ive only had it a little while, but the frame seems solid. here in southern california we dont get endless rain or big storms where i am, so it should be enough for my needs i hope. covers me nicely and my dog can stay close underneath on a short leash.

I'd def recommend these!
I'd been hunting for a decent compact umbrella and the reviews persuaded me to give this one a go. Ordered two in black, one for myself and another for a coworker. Both look great! When opened they're roomier than I imagined, and feel really solid. There was a little dust on them straight out of the packaging, nothing a quick wipe didn't sort out. I'd def recommend these!

:( Once spring comes around I'll be getting another!
I've always loved colorful umbrellas and finally picked one for myself. The green really stands out, it's a nice amount of cover, and walking in the rain was much nicer with it. I liked it so much that having it stolen less than a month later really stung. :( Once spring comes around I'll be getting another!

Pretty much what I expected .
Pretty much what I expected . Well made and there is room for me and my laptop bag without having to squeeze it all underneath. I would prefer a curved grip over the loop, but that's just me. The tip isn't a worry since i don't bounce my umbrellas along the ground. Costs more than the cheap ones I usually buy, but I feel I've got something decent for the money. We live in west central Florida and when the rain gets going here it really comes down. It did very well in the last downpour. I'm thinking of another one to leave in my other car. I'd sooner do that than keep replacing cheaper umbrellas. Would recommend it.

got these for my bridesmaids to have for pictures...
got these for my bridesmaids to have for pictures... wedding is in august in FL so shade will be welcome, and there's always the chance of rain... they look really pretty opened up and aren't a great big thing to carry around. haven't tried them in rain yet but the canopy looks properly covered, not just something for decoration. i will say the beige is a warmer beige than i thought from the picture. was imagining something paler... this has a little more colour to it, still nice, just not quite the shade i had in my head. thats the reason for 4 rather than 5. i like them anyway and think they will look soooo nice for what we need.
Selena Davis
The opening spring has a good kick to it.
The green is much livelier in person than I expected from the pictures, not a flat dull looking green at all. The opening spring has a good kick to it. Keep a firm grip and don't aim it towards someone as you press the button. Everything feels substantial, from the frame to the fabric and handle. There hasn't been much rain since it arrived, so long term use is still a question.Update: It's getting close to two years now and I'm just as fond of it. The colour hasn't lost its appeal and the button action still feels positive. It's been through plenty of heavy rain over that time and nothing about it feels tired yet. A purchase I'm very glad I made!

A sturdier umbrella than the ones I used to pick up locally.
A sturdier umbrella than the ones I used to pick up locally. I've used it on windy days and it has done well, which was the main thing I wanted. There is a decent amount of canopy, tho it still takes up a bit of space folded. Getting into the car without a few drops landing on me is still a juggling act, but I'm glad I changed to this.
Cory Roman
He is very taken with it.
My husband's last umbrella disappeared after he left it behind at a meeting, so this was its replacement. He is very taken with it. Seems solid without being a burden to carry, and the coverage suits him on his own. (I keep a bigger one for the occasions we both need to get under it.) He would prefer a little more room in the loop handle for his hand, but otherwise has had nothing to grumble about.
Shirley Lamb
heavier than a tiny umbrella, not as heavy as a big one.
Sooo handy! i haven't had rain to try it in yet, but it's been lovely for shade and fine on windy walks. heavier than a tiny umbrella, not as heavy as a big one. the button brings it up and collapses the canopy, then you push the shaft back down. it does make quite a noise. my cat wants absolutely nothing to do with it.
Erika Sanders
Love the look of this umbrella.
Love the look of this umbrella. I've had two similar-looking ones before, one got lost and the other didn't last very long. This feels more solid than the last one, especially when it's opened up. The Black is a proper deep shade, which is much closer to what I wanted than the washed-out finish on my old one. The oval handle is comfortable too. An easy recommendation from me!
Chelsea Lawrence
I can shade myself and get a little shade over the dogs as well.
Living in the desert, a bit of portable shade makes a real difference. This feels much nicer overhead than my old rain umbrella when the sun is beating down. I can shade myself and get a little shade over the dogs as well. It makes being outside more comfortable and I don't feel the need to wear a hat underneath it.The price seemed very reasonable too. For where I live, it is something useful rather than just a rainy day purchase.
Pedro Garrett
I'd happily keep buying this umbrella.
I'd happily keep buying this umbrella. I'm on my second one and it's become the one I reach for whenever the weather looks doubtful. I've walked through plenty of gusty rain with it and never felt I was fighting to keep the canopy in shape. That's all I really want, something I can carry without thinking and trust for a wet day. No more umbrella hunting! It feels solid without being a chore to bring along. Just keep an eye on it when you stop for a drink or go to the cinema ;)

--Folds small enough to put away easily.
After losing my pink umbrella at the Barcelona airport I wondered if I'd find one I liked as much.--Button opening--Button closing of the canopy--A solid feeling frame--The handle loop can clip onto my backpack or luggage so I'm not always holding it.--Folds small enough to put away easily.--And the price was close to what I'd hoped to spend.Really can't complain about that.

Very happy!
I seemed to be replacing umbrellas all the time - one would go and then the next wouldn't last either. This one feels properly put together and has handled the rain I've taken it out in without leaving me soaked. The ribs have some give rather than feeling brittle (which is reassuring when the wind picks up :) and the handle feels good too.If I was being picky, the green fabric does show a bit of dirt once it's been used a while - I suppose that's what happens when an umbrella actually sticks around long enough. But nothing terrible, I just wipe the little marks away and it looks presentable again.Very happy!

HOWEVER it feels great quality and I've found it handy for dog walks.
Didn't check the folded length properly and it was bigger than the tiny brolly I had in mind. HOWEVER it feels great quality and I've found it handy for dog walks. When my dog stays close beside me there's enough cover for us both, so it's turned out a lot more useful than I expected.
Katie Simon
Good value overall.
My 11 yr old son uses this on his walk home from school. We get some wet, blustery days here in Florida and it has done a good job. The automatic opening makes things simple for him. Nicely made and plenty of cover, though a little bulky in his school bag. Good value overall.
Lonnie Mccall
Handy to leave in the trunk or by the front door.
Surprisingly roomy when opened, enough for two of us standing close. Feels well put together and is simple to use. Handy to leave in the trunk or by the front door. Didn't expect so much cover from something that folds down. Have bought another to give as a present,
Joy Holden
Overall a good umbrella and a design I enjoy.
I'm very taken with the design! Its nice finding something with a bit of personality as a man, without it feeling childish or overly feminine (nothing against either, if that's your taste). The cream white looks good and it seems solid, although I've only taken it out twice. Two small things, more suggestions than real complaints: the button looks cheap to me; and after the canopy closes, pushing the shaft back down takes more effort than I'd like. Neither is a big issue, I'm being picky. Overall a good umbrella and a design I enjoy.
Hector Morris
Exactly the sort of umbrella I was hoping for.
Exactly the sort of umbrella I was hoping for. My shoulders stay covered and I can keep my purse close without it getting soaked as well. It feels far more substantial than the flimsy folding umbrellas I used before. The extra weight took a few uses to get accustomed to, but I don't mind it now. Even when there's a breeze, I'm not constantly worrying about the frame. People have asked where I found it, and it does look smart with whatever I'm wearing! The button opening is useful, though the main attraction for me is just feeling properly covered. For anyone put off by a little weight, I say it's a fair trade for something that feels this sturdy!

Better than I had pictured when it arrived.
Better than I had pictured when it arrived. I needed a replacement after the wind ruined my previous umbrella. This one seems sturdy, is straightforward to open and pack away, and has a useful sleeve. I've only taken it out in the rain once - did what it was supposed to do!Living in Florida, I also wanted something to give me shade from the sun. Definately a useful extra reason to carry it.

She's even had people say how nice it looks.
My daughter thinks her umbrella is the cutest thing and is quite happy when it starts raining now. She's even had people say how nice it looks. We've been using it for a couple of months in our wet corner of Washington and it's still looking good, despite going out a lot.Its a sensible price as well, about what I'd pay for a basic umbrella. I like that it's something useful rather than just pretty. We also bought one for a friend's birthday and she tells us she's been getting plenty of use from hers.
Shelly Cannon
Simple things can make me ridiculously happy.
You see people in Japan with such practical umbrellas, while here in the states we seem to make everything harder than necessary. I know, a grand conclusion to draw from an umbrella. But being able to collapse the canopy with a button instead of wrestling with it... SO SENSIBLE!!! The pole still needs pushing down by hand, fair enough. Simple things can make me ridiculously happy. Looks good as well.

The quick review: right colour, keeps the water off, wife pleased.
My wife and I have a thing about the umbrella in a TV show we watch, which is how I ended up shopping for an umbrella for Valentine's Day. This green one seemed a sensible price for the gift. The quick review: right colour, keeps the water off, wife pleased.Done. For the longer version, it gives more cover than I was expecting from a folding umbrella. Not something to shelter the entire neighborhood under, but a decent amount for one person, and we can squeeze close together for a short walk. The fabric has a substantial feel and the frame doesn't seem flimsy when you open it. That was a pleasant surprise because I was mostly choosing it for the idea behind the present. It isn't the lightest thing to carry, which is my small reservation, although I'd rather that than something that feels like paper. Overall I'm glad I picked it. Only warning I'd add is that opening it indoors may upset the superstitious members of the household. So there's that.

The blue is such a beautiful colour on this umbrella.
The blue is such a beautiful colour on this umbrella. I hadn't paid much attention to the oval loop on the handle before choosing it, but it's a pretty detail and nice to have something secure to hold. The fabric doesn't look cheap, and the canopy seems well put together. Opened up, the size is wonderful and it feels quite light to carry! The sleeve is nicely made as well.
My only real niggle, and what keeps it at four stars, is putting the shaft away after closing. A press of the button folds the canopy, which is easy enough, but then there's the manual push to shorten it. That part takes more effort than I would like. For something I plan to use regularly it is a bit inconvenient, though perhaps I'll get more used to the movement.
Once everything is folded neatly, getting it into the sleeve isn't difficult. I've found it worth taking a moment to smooth the fabric down first rather than trying to stuff it straight in. Overall I'm delighted with the look of it. There's something rather dreamy about that blue when it's open. If the final push were a little easier for me, I wouldn't have much to grumble about at all. It's a beautiful umbrella.
Carrie Shields
My main point is the folded size.
I'm just over six feet tall and wanted a decent umbrella for winter, not one that leaves my shoulders out in the rain. After looking through different styles and prices I settled on this.Quality feels good, the shaft seems solid and the handle is comfortable enough. I haven't had it out in really bad wind, so I'm not going to pretend I know how it would cope. My main point is the folded size. Yes, it folds, but COMPACT doesn't mean it will disappear into a coat pocket. At around 40cm long it needs a proper space in your bag, which was more than I had pictured. Open, the coverage is sensible for me rather than ridiculously oversized. I would probably pick something smaller if I wanted to carry it everywhere just in case, but for winter use I prefer having that extra cover. In summary: feels well made and does what I wanted, just check the folded dimensions before deciding it's your everyday pocket umbrella.

SUCH A NICE IDEA FOR SPRING AND GOOD VALUE TOO!!!!!!!!
ORDERED A FEW OF THESE FOR SPRING DOOR DECORATIONS. I PUT FLORAL ARRANGEMENTS IN THEM AND THEY LOOKED SO CHEERFUL.EVERY ONE ENDED UP GOING TO A FRIEND SO MY OWN DOOR MISSED OUT. WILL HAVE TO GET ANOTHER AND ACTUALLY KEEP IT THIS TIME. SUCH A NICE IDEA FOR SPRING AND GOOD VALUE TOO!!!!!!!!

More importantly she comes home dry!!
My eight year old daughter needed a replacement after her little novelty umbrella gave up almost immediately! This one has already had plenty of twirling, endless button pressing and trips to school, and is still doing well. Folded, it's a bit long for her small backpack, but she loves carrying it anyway. More importantly she comes home dry!! It seems a lot more substantial than the old one, and has coped nicely when it's been windy.

No more standing there fiddling while the rain gets down my neck!
I walk across busy parking lots for groceries, errands and the bus, so having an umbrella I can open quickly is a real help. No more standing there fiddling while the rain gets down my neck! The blue looks nice and the sleeve keeps it tidy when I've finished with it. My only small niggle is that it takes up a bit more space in my shopping bag than I expected, but clipping the loop handle to a bag strap sorts that out. It leaves my hands freer for the other things I'm carrying, which matters on those errand days. Not too heavy either, and much less awkward for me than carrying a long umbrella around!
Cynthia Pitts
Went for this umbrella because it looked like a solid everyday option.
Went for this umbrella because it looked like a solid everyday option. You get that impression holding it as well, the frame and fittings feel decent rather than cheap. The push button is handy, a press to open and another to close the canopy, with the shaft pushed down by hand afterwards. First impressions make me think it'll last a good while. It measures about 40cm folded, so I wouldn't call it tiny, but it fits in all the bags I use for work. A good size for me.
Ashley Norris
Such a nice gift!
My in-laws picked this from my wishlist for me and I am so happy with it! It feels strong, nicely finished and wide enough that my shoulders aren't left out in the rain. I've had umbrellas before that seemed to cover only the very top of my head, so this is a lovely change!! The pink looks cheerful too. I just hold it high enough to see ahead, and it still gives me good shelter. Such a nice gift!
Jose Norris
I still think it's a nice-looking umbrella for the money.
I'd been looking for an umbrella for a friend who likes a simple, pretty style, and the pink looked right. It looks good in person and has done a decent job in the rain. It has also coped with ordinary breezes. One thing to note is that the button closes the canopy, not the whole shaft; that last push has to be done by hand. It's not a fault, just less effortless than I first imagined. I still think it's a nice-looking umbrella for the money. I tend to lose them before I wear them out anyway, so I'm happy with it.
Ivan Trujillo
Good value, and feels properly made.
Good value, and feels properly made. I'd put a small question mark beside "compact" though. yea, it folds, but it's not a tiny thing to forget about in a little handbag. The upside is the useful amount of cover when it's open. For me that balance works, so I'm happy to carry the slightly larger folded size.
Tanya Robertson
The button action is useful when I'm juggling my bag.
Wanted an umbrella that wouldn't mind being shoved into my backpack every day. After a year of that, this one still looks good and works as it should. It has coped with rainy, windy walks without turning inside out. The button action is useful when I'm juggling my bag.The canopy reaches over me and most of the backpack, which matters when I'm carrying electronics. Good amount of shelter from something that doesn't take over all the space in the bag.
Brett Bartlett
Sturdy enough for my sunny, breezy days!
Sturdy enough for my sunny, breezy days! I mostly carry an umbrella for shade here in Las Vegas, where the wind can make that awkward. After going through several umbrellas, I'm glad to have one that feels solid in my hand. Well made...easy to take along, and I'm very satisfied with the choice.
Yolanda Mccullough
My one reservation is the coverage in prolonged, slanting rain.
My brother gave me this umbrella back when I didn't have a car, so it got used for a lot of wet walks. Since then it's come along to San Francisco, China and Australia, and it's still doing its job. It feels durable and has been useful to have tucked away. My one reservation is the coverage in prolonged, slanting rain. If I'm out for half an hour or more I can end up with a damp shoulder, so I wouldn't call it shelter for every kind of weather. There's a little staining now too. My roommate borrowed it and was quite taken with it. I'd happily choose another from Haven when I want a fresh one, despite those small reservations. Still a GREAT everyday umbrella!
Xavier Clements
The quality really impressed me.
The quality really impressed me. The canopy is neatly finished and looks great. Folded away it's quite compact, considering how much space it covers when open. Also no little toy dangling off the handle, unlike some I've seen. With an eight year old using it, I'd rather have it that way.
Adam Hartman
The weight was the first thing I noticed.
Build and feel
The weight was the first thing I noticed. Folded up it looks fairly compact and then you pick it up and there is more substance than you expected. Not an enormous weight, just not that almost empty feeling some little umbrellas have. At first I wasn't sure about that but after carrying it I stopped thinking about it. The frame feels secure and the fabric sits neatly across it when open. Looking underneath you can see all those ribs, thirty of them, and it is quite a busy looking arrangement . The flexible supports seem a sensible choice rather than everything being completely rigid. I am not an engineer, I just like looking at how things are put together. The stitching and the way the canopy is held are the sort of details I notice after the first excitement of opening something. On mine those details look good too. It isn't just a nice appearance from a distance.
Design
How often have you stood with something in one hand and tried to persuade an umbrella to open with the other?? That is where the button earns its place. Press it and the canopy spreads out, no reaching up underneath to get everything into position. Closing needs a little explanation because the button folds the canopy, it doesn't make the whole umbrella disappear into the handle lol. You still compress the telescoping shaft yourself afterwards. Once I understood that sequence it was straightforward, and I don't find that last movement a problem.
The handle is another thing I kept looking at. It is a closed oval loop, not the usual curved hook sticking out at the bottom. It takes a slightly different hold but feels comfortable to me. Also the proportions make sense. About 105cm across when opened is useful coverage, while the folded length is around 40cm. You look at it folded and wonder where all that canopy goes?? I chose Beige and it has a quiet appearance that I prefer to something very bright. Underneath is black, which I find pleasant when using it for shade as well. No complicated tricks, just an arrangement that works for me.
Using it outside
Most of my walking is on city streets, and the awkward part is not always the rain coming straight down. It is moving past buildings and reaching an intersection where the air suddenly comes at you differently. That was the sort of walk where I started appreciating this one. I had brought it because rain looked likely and was glad I did. Once the rain started I could get it open promptly instead of stopping to fiddle about.
At the crossing I could feel the pull through the handle when a gust caught the canopy. It stayed open and kept its shape on that walk, which was reassuring. I could see other people having to fuss with their umbrellas and was pleased not to be doing the same. That doesn't mean you stop paying attention to how you are holding it. There is still a broad surface above your hand and the air can push against it. I adjusted the angle and carried on. What impressed me most was quite ordinary really, I reached the other side and continued walking without having to stop and sort the umbrella out. My head and upper body stayed dry. That is what I bought it for, not to prove anything in a storm.
New material smell
A slightly odd point but I noticed the smell when I first took it out. It wasn't something that bothered me. Actually I rather liked that new material smell . My mother noticed it too and wasn't as keen as I was, although she didn't make a big issue of it. For me it was a passing first impression rather than something that spoiled using it.
The trade off
If there is a downside it is the same substantial feeling I mentioned earlier. Anybody wanting the tiniest possible umbrella to forget about completely may feel differently. I prefer having this amount of cover and a frame that feels secure, so I accept the extra presence in my bag. The sleeve is useful for keeping it together once it is dry and folded, but you still have to take a moment to put it away properly. Also, however good an umbrella feels, I would not deliberately take it out in dangerous weather to test its limits. Holding onto a canopy in gusts still takes attention from the person underneath it.
Overall
I have become much more enthusiastic about this purchase than I expected to be. The finish, the useful open size and the simple button operation all contribute, but mainly it is the experience of walking along and not continually thinking about the umbrella. It is there doing what I need. For something that spends a lot of its life folded away, that matters when its turn finally comes. I cannot promise somebody else will get quite as excited looking at the framework as i did . For my own ordinary rainy walks, though, this has been an excellent choice. I would choose it again, and I have even caught myself looking forward to the next chance to take it out

A really good present for someone who enjoys a practical gadget.
My friend got this for his birthday and honestly, he was delighted. The unusual loop handle was a hit, and he couldn't leave the button alone. Spent ages opening it and closing the canopy just to try it out. A really good present for someone who enjoys a practical gadget.

This has turned out to be a very good umbrella.
This has turned out to be a very good umbrella. It feels well put together and gives plenty of cover without being awkward to carry. One press opens it; another collapses the canopy, then I compress the shaft manually. Everything stays tidy when folded and it slips back into its sleeve without a struggle. I'm used to straight handles, but the closed oval loop gives me a secure place to hold it. Very satisfied with it.

A very useful umbrella.
I've kept this umbrella in my car through a couple of rainy seasons here in the Bay area. It has been a dependable thing to have there. When I need to walk around, it folds up small enough to go in my backpack, and the sleeve keeps it tidy with the rest of my things. I like not having to leave it behind because it takes up too much room. It has come along on my trips to China and Russia as well and coped nicely with rain and blustery weather. A very useful umbrella.
