Everyone there said they would keep an umbrella handy after that.
We have decided to buy two more of these umbrellas. The button is handy, though compressing the shaft afterwards takes more effort than I would like. We already liked how solid it felt, but something else made us appreciate it yesterday. In the afternoon ****with visibility not very good**** a friend's front tire went flat on the way to NYC. We stopped just before an exit, with traffic passing rather closer than was comfortable while the tire was changed. I stood well off the road and held the green umbrella open so we were a little easier to spot. Several cars gave us more room, and that was a relief. I am NOT saying an umbrella replaces proper roadside warning gear. It just made us think about keeping something noticeable in the car, along with something to keep the rain off. Everyone there said they would keep an umbrella handy after that. So, a useful thing to have near the spare tire, even though resetting this one isn't quite as effortless as I'd prefer!

Had rain and a bit of wind and it felt steady.
Matches the description. Some weight to it. Coverage enough for me. Had rain and a bit of wind and it felt steady. Fabric does its job, I leave it spread out after use to dry properly. Would recommend. Handle is an unusual shape, hand sits different than my old umbrella but feels secure. Button has a strong action and it opens very sudden

glad i kept it.
i meant this as a gift, then opened it up and decided it was staying with me lol. its roomy when its up but not a nuisance to carry, and i like the oval loop handle, different from what im used to.the button opens it fast and folds the canopy back down too, you still have to push the shaft in by hand before putting it away, not hard once youve done it. i havent had it long enough to say how many years it will last, but nothing about it seems flimsy to me. we dont get all that much rain here in southern california, or many big storms where i am, so hopefully this will do me for a good while.theres enough cover for me and my dog when i keep him close on the leash. glad i kept it.

Packs down reasonably small.
A couple of years of use and it still behaves like it did at the start. Some of it feels quite plasticky, yet the whole umbrella is solid. The button opening and canopy collapse are quick, and it has handled windy days well. Packs down reasonably small. I'd buy another without hesitation.

Now it's here, the build feels very good!
Before ordering I was trying to find out a few details and didn't get answers to everything. Now it's here, the build feels very good! The oval handle is unusual but feels solid, not like something fragile. The shaft seems firm without making the whole umbrella feel heavy. Held folded, the balance reminds me oddly of a little practice sword, though much shorter. The sleeve slips off easily when I need to use it. I'm glad I went ahead with the purchase.

Nice to have some shade while waiting to tee off or between shots.
Rain isn't much of a regular thing where I live, so this has mostly been out on the golf course. Nice to have some shade while waiting to tee off or between shots. It has behaved fine in a breeze too. Can't comment on wet weather yet, but it's earned its space already!

My wife really likes the pink umbrella I chose for her.
My wife really likes the pink umbrella I chose for her. The handle is a closed oval loop with a carabiner clip. Outside the canopy is pink and the inside is black. There's a button to open it and close the canopy, and it comes with a sleeve to put it in when folded.
Fred Hodges
This one is a little smaller then I had pictured.
Another of these for me, and they are very good, as I'd hope at the price. This one is a little smaller then I had pictured. Yes, the size was listed, I just didn't really think about it. Definitely keeping it for carrying along when my big umbrella is more trouble than it's worth.

She LOVES it, so replacing it was an easy decision.
Picked this up for my MOM after she lost the first one. She LOVES it, so replacing it was an easy decision. The pink gives her that little splash of colour when everything outside looks grey, but she doesn't find it too much. She can be quite particular about colours, but this seems to be just the right amount for her. I can't say exactly what makes it her favourite, just that it's the one she asks for. Glad I could replace it for her, makes a lovely gift!

No chance to try mine in rain yet.
No chance to try mine in rain yet. Nearly Easter here, and after all that rain last week the weather has decided to stay dry. I like what I've seen of it though. It's neat looking and I'm looking forward to actually carrying it rather than just opening it indoors. My usual gripe is with umbrella sizes generally. Why does it feel like the choice is either something enormous or something that barely covers your shoulders? This seems a sensible middle ground, although I wouldn't mind a little more room across it. I don't want a golf umbrella to drag around, just decent coverage without a big thing to carry.

Rain appeared in the forecast three days before our wedding!
Rain appeared in the forecast three days before our wedding! Suddenly umbrellas were part of the plans! These pink ones turned out to be such a lovely addition to the day. We got some really sweet pictures beneath them and stayed dry without lugging enormous umbrellas about. They felt sturdy and were simple to pop open when we needed them. Now they're in the front room ready for everyday use, not just tucked away with wedding things. Such a good buy!

(They deserve to stay dry!
Ordered about a dozen for our school's bus duty staff. (They deserve to stay dry!) The blue is as shown and they give one adult decent coverage. A small student can squeeze alongside, though I wouldn't call them roomy for sharing. They have a little weight to them, fine for normal rainy days, but I wouldn't choose them for really rough weather. Staff find the button simple to use. They appreciate having umbrellas ready when the buses arrive.
Jack Colon
Price was very good too.
I went with cream white and it looks really nice, a softer and quite feminine look which I like. Haven't taken it out in wet weather yet, so I can't say much about that part. The button opens it up quickly and the ribs seem sturdy enough. Price was very good too. Happy with the first impression, just waiting for a rainy day.
Glenda Roman
That's the main thing I needed.
A bit weightier than I imagined for a compact umbrella, but it sits nicely in my laptop bag when I'm away for work. That's the main thing I needed. Automatic opening AND collapsing the canopy are a real help getting into a taxi or through a revolving door. You still compress the pole afterwards, which is straightforward enough, so overall it works well for me.
Carolyn Mcmahon
the handle feels solid too.
Nicer quality than i expected, right down to the stitching and all the ribs. the handle feels solid too. there's a slight smell so i'm leaving it open to air. mine is blue outside with black underneath. gives proper shade, no light shining straight through the fabric! seems worth what i paid

Down on the gulf coast we get more than our share of thunderstorms.
Down on the gulf coast we get more than our share of thunderstorms. Took this out in a downpour this week and it was easy to keep balanced. My shoes were soaked but I reached the prison entrance with myself and my files dry (I'm a lawyer), even walking up the incline. The button opens it smoothly and nothing felt flimsy while I was holding it. Closing the canopy was quick, then I pressed the shaft back down once inside. Packs away neatly and feels very well put together. I'll be ordering more for family and staff!!!
Kaitlyn Cooley
It still opens nicely and looks good.
I nearly passed on this because some of the comments made it sound so fragile, but mine has been fine for a year now! I don't throw it around and I let it dry before putting it away, nothing complicated. It still opens nicely and looks good. Cute little umbrellie!
Kurt Norris
It packs away neatly afterwards.
A quick press with my thumb gets the umbrella open, which is much easier than fiddling with a catch. It is a stylish looking thing and the loop grip sits nicely in my hand. I use an umbrella for shade as well as rain, and being able to make my own shade is helpful when the sun is bothering my skin. It packs away neatly afterwards. I would happily replace it with the same one whenever this one eventually wears out.
Kendra Oconnor
They looked lovely together and felt well made.
For a May beach wedding in Washington, I was expecting cold weather and rain. I bought umbrellas for the wedding party, then we ended up with clear skies and a hot sunny day. The gray canopies turned out to be just as useful for shade. They looked lovely together and felt well made. I was delighted, and it was nice that the ladies could take their umbrellas home as gifts afterward.
Edward Chavez
Wonderful for shade!
Wonderful for shade! Standing underneath it feels noticeably more comfortable than having the sun beating straight down on me. There's a little extra weight compared with my usual umbrella, but for the shade it gives I'm quite happy to carry it. Packing it up takes some effort: the button folds the canopy, then I press the telescoping part down myself. Nothing that puts me off using it. For anyone wanting an umbrella mainly to get out of the sunshine, I'd happily recommend this one.
Sierra Singleton
The handle sits comfortably in my hand and makes it simple to use.
Taking it out, I was surprised by how small and light it felt compared with what I had imagined from the photos. Once opened, though, there was a fair amount of cover, enough for a grown man. We haven't had rain since it arrived so I still can't say how the fabric will hold up outside, and I would like it to last a good while. The handle sits comfortably in my hand and makes it simple to use. Looking at what umbrellas sell for in Korea, the amount I paid seems quite reasonable, even if I have yet to give it a proper try.
Frances Francis
The build seems very good.
The build seems very good. There's some weight to it, and the frame feels solid. Packs up snugly (which I like). More coverage when open than I pictured. The button responds nicely and the material doesn't look flimsy. No rain test yet, but I'm happy with it so far.
Savannah Cantrell
Takes up more bag space than I wanted.
Rain showers here come out of nowhere in spring and summer, so an umbrella lives in my bag. I got tired of the cheap ones and decided to to spend a bit more on this.It comes with a decent sleeve, but at roughly 40cm folded it's longer than I'd pictured. Takes up more bag space than I wanted. On the other hand it feels properly made, and in the rain I've used it in the fabric hasn't soaked through onto me. Not the smallest thing to carry, but a worthwhile step up from what I had.
Melvin Townsend
Otherwise the construction is very good and I like the look of it.
Would have preferred something softer on the handle, the loop feels quite hard in your hand. Otherwise the construction is very good and I like the look of it. Has a sleeve to put it in when folded, which makes the whole thing look quite neat. The oval handle is the part people notice, not your usual umbrella handle at all. I work at a university and it does look a little different carrying it around, which I hadn't really thought about before buying. Still, it's practical and I expect I'll be using it for a long time.

They also seem to think any umbrella is the start of a fort....
Mine has been used a lot over the last four years, not just when it's raining. It gives you a little patch of shade on demand, which is lovely when the children want to read or color outside. They also seem to think any umbrella is the start of a fort....lots of games built around it! It is noticeably darker underneath than outside, so it does make a nice break from bright sunshine. I've dropped it, left it wet and even forgotten it out in the snow, and it still looks remarkably decent. Rain one day, a sunny afternoon the next, it gets used either way. One of those things I didn't think much about buying and then ended up using constantly. Very glad I have it.
Jay Stokes
I didn't expect to be this impressed by an umbrella, honestly.
Here in Virginia June was rain after rain, and July looks like more of the same. I didn't expect to be this impressed by an umbrella, honestly. I wish I'd found this years ago instead of carrying umbrellas I never really liked. It's already been out with me in gusty weather without any trouble. There's a comfortable amount of cover for me and it doesn't feel like something I have to baby every time I open it. Does the job I wanted it to do, A VERY GOOD UMBRELLA & I'M GLAD I GOT IT!
Sally Lucas
I was wrong.
I was half expecting a flimsy umbrella that was more about its unusual handle than actually keeping rain off me.I was wrong. It feels solid when it opens, and collapsing the canopy is nice and quick too. I'm quite happy using it as my everyday umbrella, even if I have had some odd looks bringing it into the office. My co-workers probably wonder why anyone could be this enthusiastic about an umbrella. Apparently this is what passes for excitement with me now :P
Anthony Middleton
The pink is a lovely colour too.
I'd been hunting for a replacement for my old automatic umbrella for quite a while. A few I tried seemed smaller than I wanted once opened, even though the listings sounded promising. This one gives me a useful amount of cover without being a great long thing to carry closed. The pink is a lovely colour too. What I especially wanted was the quick canopy closing, because it makes getting into a car or onto a bus so much less of a struggle. Press the button, bring the shaft down by hand, and it's ready to pack away. The price was also better than several others I'd considered.

A satisfying umbrella!
A satisfying umbrella! Received in November in a cardboard box. Quite substantial in the hand, good grip on the handle. Button opening and canopy closing work well, with the telescoping part compressed manually afterwards. The 30 flexible ribs look strong. Material sheds water well. Open size is generous for something portable. Completely satisfied. Thank you for a good item ♥️ Recommended!

Feels properly sturdy and reliable.
Still quite taken with this umbrella, both how it looks and how well it has done in the rain. Feels properly sturdy and reliable. I was forever looking for a replacement umbrella before, now I feel like I have one worth keeping.... It has given me dependable cover when the weather turns miserable. Couldn't be happier with this choice!!! Thank you!!

Keeping all the dry space to myself isn't much fun.
Apparently this Umbrella has frightened the rain away, because the sky seems to clear whenever I remember to take it. Leave it at home and of course it pours! Joking aside, there's generous cover for something that folds down, and two of us can manage if we stand close. Keeping all the dry space to myself isn't much fun. Wind has tugged at it quite hard without spoiling its shape. It looks smart too. No complaints here, a useful umbrella with a bit of character!
Denise Bullock
Such a sweet looking umbrella.
Such a sweet looking umbrella. My daughter actually wants rainy days now because she can take it out! People have said nice things about it when she's using it. We've had ours a few months here in the wetter part of Washington and it has had plenty of outings.Still looking good and working nicely. I thought the price was reasonable for something this useful, not just something pretty to look at. We also bought one for a friend's birthday and she's been using hers regularly. Nice to give something that doesn't just sit on a shelf.

Arrived promptly too
You get a reassuring sense of strength when you pick this up — it doesn't feel flimsy. The button works smoothly and the canopy has kept the rain off me, even during a proper downpour. Cream White looks really fresh — a quieter colour, which suits me. A gust hasn't turned it inside out so far either. It's a nice combination of something useful and something that looks good, and I'm happy to take it out with me. Arrived promptly too

My four year old granddaughter always wants an umbrella.
My four year old granddaughter always wants an umbrella. I found this one online and was pleased with how well it's made. She uses it every day, out in the Florida sun or the rain. Likes having shade above her head just as much as playing in the rain. Well received gift.
Blake Duffy
I'd be happy to get her another like it when needed.
My wife wanted a nice looking umbrella, so I picked this one up for her. She is happy with the simple appearance, but her main test was whether she got wet walking in the rain. In normal rain it has kept her dry, obviously sideways rain is another matter.I'd be happy to get her another like it when needed.
Andres Thomas
great for one person!
great for one person! gives me plenty of cover without being huge to carry. a little weight to it, but the frame feels reassuring when there's a breeze. opening is so convenient, only press the button and it spreads right out. easily the umbrella i reach for first now.
Jordan Bird
Packing away hasn't been difficult either.
Feels well put together, even after some fairly enthusiastic handling from my nearly four year old. Opening it is simple and it stays nicely spread out once up. Packing away hasn't been difficult either. Early days, but I'm hoping it'll keep doing as well as it has so far.

Oh I love having this umbrella!
Oh I love having this umbrella! it makes a rainy day feel a bit less gloomy. It was on my christmas list and my husband got it for me, which made me ridiculously happy. The pink is such a fun colour. It feels really nicely put together and opens out wide enough to cover me properly, without having to carry a big long umbrella around. Only little thing (not much of a complaint) is that marks show up on it, so I give it a wipe now and then. Still makes me smile every time I take it out. lol.

This has been a good choice!!
Northwest rain means an umbrella doesn't spend much time sitting unused. You see so many wrecked ones in the bins that I wanted something with a more substantial frame. This has been a good choice!! Two wet, gusty outings so far and it stayed in shape both times. There's enough cover to keep me and the bag I'm carrying reasonably dry, without having to hold everything right against my chest. Not the smallest thing to put in a bag afterwards, but I'll accept that for something that feels solid. Happy customer!
Benjamin Huber
The shade is true to the photo, which I'm thrilled about!
This is my just-in-case umbrella for the wedding, picked because the gray fits my colours. It feels sturdy and gives me a comfortable amount of cover without being enormous. The shade is true to the photo, which I'm thrilled about! Hoping for a dry day of course, although I may use it for a few pictures anyway.
Karina Moore
Such a nice looking umbrella.
Such a nice looking umbrella. It seems quite solid, not flimsy, but don't assume compact means toddler sized - have a look at the measurements. Opened up it's more than my little one needs, and I find it a better fit for me. The button is convenient, though I take care of opening and packing it for the child. A nice buy overall.

My daughter has used this Umbrella at three competitions now.
My daughter has used this Umbrella at three competitions now. The courses can be hilly and rather windy, so we wanted something that felt sturdy but was still manageable to carry. This has done very well for her, with no trouble keeping it up in the rain. It folds down neatly when she doesn't need it, which is handy during a round. We are very happy with it and it feels more substantial than the umbrellas we've used before.
Deborah Gamble
It looks great and it's useful too!
I picked this out for my sister-in-law, but seeing it made me want one myself! It looks great and it's useful too! Nice umbrella. There's plenty of cover for one person. The frame seems strong -- definitely doesn't feel like a flimsy bargain umbrella. I'd be glad to recommend it!
Louis Key
I like the gray, and it has behaved well in breezy rain.
Somehow I always used to be without an umbrella when it rained, unless I had a flimsy freebie knocking around. Finally spent a bit on a decent one and I'm glad I did. I like the gray, and it has behaved well in breezy rain. A little more width would be nice, but it packs away well and doesn't feel a nuisance to carry. Money well spent.
Tammy Humphrey
Lovely -- really lovely.
My granddaughter could hardly wait to see what was in her package. Finding her own blue umbrella made her even happier. At nine she's very particular about things looking too little-kid, and this one got her approval straight away.It looks grown up enough for her and she likes carrying it herself. So nice when something you pick out is exactly what they wanted. Lovely -- really lovely. A BIG HIT!
Melody Edwards
Build quality is excellent.
Coverage is modest, but that's a fair trade for something that folds up. Mine stays in the car for quick walks when it rains; for longer outings I'd still favour a bigger umbrella. Build quality is excellent. It's about 105cm across when open and 40cm folded, which is useful to know rather than just calling it compact. At roughly 390g it's noticeable but not a burden. The oval loop handle is practical, though a softer finish would be nicer to hold (small point). No trouble with it on the breezy days I've used it.
Desiree Blevins
Seems solid enough from what we've seen.
For my daughter's 12th birthday I wanted to replace the umbrella she'd had for a few years. She loves this one.It has that proper fabric feel rather than feeling like a toy, and she's already taken it out waiting for the bus in rain. Seems solid enough from what we've seen. We haven't had much wind for a real test yet, so we'll see how it goes. But the green looks lovely. Now I'm thinking I should have ordered one for myself...

A good umbrella is worth remembering to bring home.
One stays at the office and another lives in the car. This one sits in a planter by the back door, ready for a wet morning or walking the dog. That's where a good umbrella earns its keep; not sitting somewhere you can't find it when the rain starts. I appreciate that this is a proper, substantial umbrella without being something enormous to carry down the pavement. The cover is enough for me and the folded size is sensible for taking indoors. It has handled the blustery days I've used it on well, and I don't spend the whole walk worrying about it. There's a difference between buying something merely because it's cheap and buying something you enjoy using. I'd rather spend a little more on the latter. Keep track of it when you stop somewhere for a meal, though. A good umbrella is worth remembering to bring home. This one certainly is.
Christina Mercer
It gives me somewhere dry to stand without hunting around for shelter.
Mine comes along on backpacking walks when rain looks likely, and for watching the kids' soccer games. It gives me somewhere dry to stand without hunting around for shelter. I leave it behind on trips where every bit of weight matters, but otherwise it's useful to have. For standing beside the pitch it works for showers and for a little shade in the HEAT.
Tina Bruce
A few weeks in and I'm delighted with it!
A few weeks in and I'm delighted with it! Sitting in its shade feels noticeably nicer on sunny days, and it's kept the rain off through several showers too. One gust turned it inside out and I was sure that was it, but it went back into shape with no damage I could find.
