Better than I was expecting for a travel umbrella. Packs neatly into its sleeve and doesn't take much packing space. There's a decent amount of cover once it's up and the button makes it quick to use. Putting it away has been straightforward as well. Nicely finished, and I think the price is very fair.
When I was using buses around the city (parking cost more than $100 each month), waiting without any shade got old quickly. I bought this last year and have been very happy with it. Feels properly put together, which isn't something I can say about every umbrella! The closed loop handle is comfortable to carry, too. Gives me shade at the stops and packs away afterwards. An excellent purchase.
The umbrella matches the pictures; the canopy has a neat finish and the whole thing looks well put together. It feels surprisingly sturdy for the price. I looked at about four other umbrellas in shops before choosing this, and it had the nicest balance of appearance and strength. The oval loop handle is plainer than the canopy, but still comfortable to hold. Overall, it's the best of the compact umbrellas I looked at while shopping.
Handy shade for one person and easy to bring in a bag. I have a larger umbrella as well and that's still my choice when watching the grandchildren's soccer games. For this one's size it does a very good job, I just prefer something wider if I'm sitting in the sun for ages.

I've had this one for about 2 months now and used it through rain and gusty days in NJ and NYC. It has felt steady rather than flimsy, and I'ved stopped fussing over it every time a breeze comes along. There's a reassuring firmness to it... hard to describe, but I notice it. The beige outside against the black inside looks really nice too. No umbrella is something I'd take into absolutely anything, but for my walks this has been excellent. Very, very pleased!
Good value as a spare umbrella. Mine lives in the car and only comes out when the weather catches me - exactly the purpose I had in mind. The button action is quite smooth. I wouldn't choose it for constant rough handling, but for occasional use it's nicer than I thought it would be.
Such a cute umbrella and a proper useful size when open. The simple shape looks much nicer in real life than in a picture, it is EVEN NICER once you're holding it. Folds down neatly enough for my medium-large purse too, so I don't have to leave it at home. Absolutely delighted with this one. A practical umbrella that still feels like a nice finishing touch to an outfit.
My little girl is two and absolutely LOVES being under this umbrella. It's a good size for us when I hold it, and the appearance matches the pictures. Seems sturdy enough to keep using as she grows. I handle the opening for now, but she is delighted every time we take it out. Happy to recommend it.
Chose the gray and I love how it looks! It's compact when folded, but doesn't feel like one of those tiny flimsy umbrellas. Opened up, it covers me and my backpack comfortably, with a little room to share. The button action is great; pushing the shaft in afterwards sometimes takes a firmer shove than I'd like. A small annoyance, not something that spoils it for me.

My daughter has had her little umbrella since last year and it has done well, so I wanted something for me to use with the baby and my purse. I didn't want a huge long one to carry around as well as everything else. This one gives us enough room with the baby held close, and I can keep it high enough to watch where I'm walking. The handle suits my hand and it looks smart too.I can't explain why other people have had a different experience. Maybe we expect different things from an umbrella, maybe not; I'm only going on mine. It did what I wanted without making a simple job complicated, which is enough for me to recommend it wholeheartedly.
Years ago I had an umbrella I really liked and losing it left me without a decent one for a couple of years. When I found this one I was quite excited, it had that same useful feel to it. I went for beige for a change instead of looking for exactly the old look. It arrived in good condition and everything worked when I tried it. Strong feeling umbrella for taking round the course. We often play where gusts come up, so I pay attention to how sturdy an umbrella seems before taking it on a round. Last weekend I came back from putting to find the push cart and golf bag down in the bunker after the wind caught them. The umbrella was with the bag, partly folded, and I was expecting it to look worse when I picked everything up. But it was still in good shape, no damage that I could see. For something I can fold away it's pretty sturdy. I'd happily choose the same one again.
I burn easily, so I wanted something I could carry along to summer track meets where shade is almost nonexistent. This has been really useful. I can hold it over myself and whoever is beside me, and coaches and athletes have definitely appreciated that patch of shade too. It feels sturdy without being a chore to take along. I've also brought it to the beach rather than lugging a tent just for myself. Sit in a chair, hold it above you and there you are. But once it's folded it is quite manageable, and the weight hasn't bothered me. The supplied sleeve keeps it neatly together when I'm carrying it, rather than having the fabric loose everywhere. No need for anything elaborate, it just makes it tidier! I like the quick opening too, much less fiddling when the rain starts. Happy to recommend it. One small thing, the cream white looks a touch warmer in real life than I thought from the photo, but I still like the colour. It has been a very good change from the bargain ones.
This was more than thought for one thought would been less to carry but opened it soon i got it and was fine no trouble. so feel was worth it good for rain find the button to be very good would do what needed that why now would keep this one with me when possible
Right amount of coverage for what I need. Packs down sensibly too. I haven't had it out in strong wind, so there's not much I can say about that yet. For the price the finish seems very good. Plain enough that I can carry it on the course or take it to a business meeting.

Really pleased with this umbrella its such good quality and so Stylish. I like cream white things and have little pale accents all over my apartment, so this was very much my sort of look. Pictures dont quite show how nice it is in person!! Waiting on a rainy day now so i can take it out!!
A little smaller than I had pictured, although it slips into my bag nicely. That's on me for not checking the size properly. No rainy day to test it on yet, but the frame feels fairly solid. With the wind and rain we get here, I definitely need more than a flimsy little umbrella.
Such a handy little umbrella. I picked pink for tropical travelling last year. Used it against the strong sun in Nicaragua and wet weather in Honolulu. After drying it fully overnight, I folded the fabric neatly down so it could go in my tote bag. Easy to carry! Enough room to cover one person!
There are so many attempts now to make ordinary everyday things different. Sometimes just a nice looking umbrella is enough. My girlfriend was delighted with this one. It gives a useful amount of cover and looks well finished, without being overdone. It's in lovely condition too. For something that looks good and works as it should, I'm very happy with the choice.
My husband picked one up at a yard sale for those quick walks from our door to the car, small & handy. Our grandson, who's 3, spotted it & LOVED it. Grandpa showed him the button & he was so pleased he could do it. Of course Grandma had to get him a new one. ( the used one probably would have done perfectly well... That's grandmothers for you!). Straight away he wanted to hold it over his mommy's head to keep her dry! Such a nice little umbrella, does just what it should.
The dog is fine. The handle is what I like best about this umbrella. The closed oval shape gives me something secure to hold, and it can hang on a narrow peg too. For a folding umbrella with a button, the size and quality are good. The centre part (the extending pole) needs pressing down myself after the fabric closes. That took a little getting used to, since automatic does not mean the whole pole disappears. It is a bit awkward finding where to put my hand for that. Even so, out of my folding umbrellas this is the one I reach for most.
Love having this umbrella around for rainy days. It seems tough, keeps the rain off and a quick wipe with a damp cloth gets it looking nice again. The handle is solid and has a cute shape. We have had plenty of rainy outings with the kids, so it gets used. VERY PLEASED
A small thing that cheers me up!!!! Rain isn't much fun but reaching for my black umbrella genuinely makes it less annoying. I've had it for years and it's come away on holidays with me, so it hasn't just been sitting by the door looking useful. We had weeks when it seemed to rain every day and out it went again, no fuss. The ribs have stayed neatly attached and it still folds up properly, which is more than I can say for some I've had. i've been using it for a few weeks now and it's been good overall. fits in my bag without much trouble, although i notice the weight if i'm carrying it loose. the button makes opening very quick and it draws the canopy shut nicely too. you still have to push the telescoping part down yourself. my hands are really small and the oval handle feels a little wide for me. i imagine someone with more average hands would find it more comfortable.
A present for a 3 1/2 year old who was very taken with the idea of his own umbrella. Most of the first day was spent pretending it was raining indoors. Certain adults were invited to stand underneath, everyone else apparently had to get wet. We handled the button for him, which opens it quickly and folds the canopy away again. The shaft needs pushing back down by hand. It has stood up to all this enthusiasm and feels quite substantial without looking clumsy.Glad we got it.

The pink makes me smile when I take it out. I am living in Seattle and there is many raining days here, so an umbrella is something I use often. From the picture I thought it will be nice, but in my hand it looks even better. I wanted not only something useful for rain, also something cheerful to see on a dull morning. This one gives me that good feeling. I like using it very much.
I picked up my first one at a museum a couple of years back.This is a nice looking umbrella, useful coverage without feeling too much to carry. The gray is richer in person than it looked in the photo, which I liked, although I'd expected a slightly lighter shade. A simple colour but really quite elegant. I did get mine caught on something and gave it a tug instead of stopping, so that was my own clumsy handling. It's worth taking care rather than pulling at it. I've ordered another because I still like it so much!

Keeping dry was the whole point and this has been great for that. There's ample room for me, and we can tuck together under it as a couple without carrying two. About a month of changeable weather now, including some proper wet and blustery days, and it has stayed dependable. For the amount of cover and how solid it feels at the price... My first Haven umbrella and I like it so far. A bit bigger opened out than I expected, but it packs down reasonably small. The button needs a firmer press than I'd like. It closes the canopy automatically, then you have to push the shaft back in yourself. I understand that's how it's meant to work, just wish it did that part too. Over all a nice umbrella and I'm glad I tried it.
Two of these went to my Mother and sister for Christmas. Both were delighted! They have a really substantial feel, not something that seems flimsy the minute you pick it up. And they DO cope nicely when the wind gets up. For a decent everyday umbrella I think the price is excellent.

Our three year old asked for an umbrella for Christmas, so we looked at quite a few online before choosing this one. He is thrilled with his black umbrella and thinks the loop handle is especially interesting. We help him get it ready, then he likes holding it above himself when walking along beside us. There is certainly enough cover for him. The only difficulty is convincing him that it needs to be put away sometimes.He would happily keep it open in every room of the house if we let him.

The walk from the train station is only five blocks, but where I live the wind makes those blocks feel much longer when it rains. Before this umbrella I generally relied on my hood and got home damp anyway. In winter it was especially annoying, and sometimes I'd arrange a ride just to avoid it. I wanted something I could actually carry on that short walk without it becoming a battle. This one has been a relief. It has stayed manageable on my rainy walks and covered me well. I still keep the coat, of course, but I'm not depending on just a hood anymore.
This was a present, though now I'm tempted to get one too. The pictures don't quite show how nice the pink looks against the dark underneath. It's not quite the shade I'd imagined from the photo, but still very pretty. I can't say how it will last because it's gone to its new owner. We did try the button when she unwrapped it, and the canopy opened and folded back down nicely.
A little bulkier than the tiniest folding umbrellas, but I'm happy to carry it because the coverage is decent. I've been out with it in a bit of wind and nothing troublesome so far. Rain beads on the fabric and a shake gets most of it off before I head indoors.I went for green because I wanted something that stood out rather than another plain dark one. Not exactly a shy choice of brolly but that suits me. I like having some colour visible when I'm waiting to cross the road, particularly on a dull day.
An interesting design. After using it for the first week I can see why the button is useful, especially when putting the umbrella away. You still have to shorten the shaft yourself after the canopy shuts. Not difficult, just another step. The loop handle gives it a substantial feel. A little more expensive then I'd normally pay for an Umbrella. Still, the frame seems strong and I think it should wear well with normal use.
