She arrived dry, which was the main thing.

Picked this up for my 2 year old daughter for rainy mornings when we take her brother to school.I ordered umbrellas for my sons at the same time, so I've had them side by side to look over. This one seems the more substantial of the bunch. It folds away, but when it's open there's a lot more room than you'd think from seeing it closed. The handle is a closed loop rather than a hook, which is different from the boys' ones. We've only taken it on one walk so far, about 10 minutes, so I can't say anything about long term durability yet. I handled the button and helped her carry it, and she was delighted to have her own umbrella. She arrived dry, which was the main thing. It's not going to be left out for playing with; I put it up on a high shelf until we need it for an actual wet walk. Hopefully that will help it last. A very cute umbrella and a nice first impression. I'd be happy to recommend it!

the loop handle is handy to hold onto.

nice fabric. lovely blue. covers me well. feels manageable. two of us can stand close underneath if we need to. I expect to use it more for shade than for rain. folds down quite neatly but still isn't tiny enough for my smaller purse. the loop handle is handy to hold onto. haven't had much chance to see what it does in windy weather yet. so i might come back and update this when its had more time out and about.

Useful little umbrella for commuting.

Useful little umbrella for commuting. It slips into the mesh bottle pocket on my backpack without much fuss (there's room to spare). Coverage is fine for me, though not head to toe, and I wouldn't choose it for really strong wind. Around a dozen outings so far and it's holding up well.

Justin Chang

Very very pleased with how solid it is, money well spent.

Needed an umbrella that could share my backpack with notebooks and everything else without getting battered about. This one feels up to it. We don't have especially wild weather here, so my main concern was everyday carrying rather than testing it in a storm. It's been in there for over a month now and still looks fresh. Very very pleased with how solid it is, money well spent.

I'm enjoying having a decent umbrella again.

Good coverage and it has kept me dry through several proper rainy spells. The loop handle is handy for keeping it attached to my bag rather than leaving it some where, which I'm quite capable of doing. Very useful. I'm enjoying having a decent umbrella again. Also, the dog next to the umbrella in the picture is so cute, even if that has nothing to do with how it works.

For the way I use an umbrella, this has been a great choice!

Because I'm sensitive to bright sunlight, I tend to look at purchases in terms of how useful they'll be when I need some shade. An umbrella wasn't something I had given much thought to for that purpose, so being able to use this one on sunny days as well as wet ones has been a really nice bonus! I've taken it out several times now, in sunshine and in rainy, breezy weather, and it hasn't given me any trouble so far. The Gray is a nice plain shade, which suits me as it doesn't clash with whatever I happen to be wearing. It feels solid when it's up, and both the fabric and frame seem well made. Getting it folded away has been straightforward too. I'm still fairly new to this sort of compact umbrella, but haven't found anything confusing about it. The button handles opening and closing the canopy, then I push the telescoping section in to finish. That last push takes slightly more effort than on the umbrella I was using before, although not enough to be a nuisance. My fingers are often arthritic, so that's something I do notice, and I've still managed it without a problem. After several uses I'm very happy with how this feels and looks. It gives me shade when I want it and has kept the rain off nicely too. It isn't too heavy for me to carry, and once packed away it fits down in my bag rather than becoming another thing I have to hold. For the way I use an umbrella, this has been a great choice!

Some of the reviews made me hesitate, but ours is doing fine after several weeks. We have been quite firm about how he uses it: no opening it indoors, no dragging it along the pavement, and it's for keeping rain off, not playing with. Maybe that helps, but so far it's been a good umbrella and we're pleased.

Coverage is good for one adult, with room to spare.

A useful spare to keep in a bag, rather than something I would carry everywhere by hand. It folds down, but don't read compact as pocket-sized: a backpack or roomy handbag is a better home for it (mine stays in my computer bag).Coverage is good for one adult, with room to spare. The drawback for me is the folded bulk and the effort of packing it neatly. You need to bring the shaft back in yourself after the button closes the canopy, then tidy the fabric for the sleeve. Fine for occasional rain, just not my smallest possible back-up.

Trevor Hanson

The frame feels solid and it opens without a struggle.

I walk most places and don't own a car, so I needed something I could keep with me when the forecast changes. I don't normally carry a bag and didn't want a massive umbrella to lug about. This one is a manageable size folded, not one of those tiny pocket ones, but the loop handle makes carrying it easier. The frame feels solid and it opens without a struggle. There's enough coverage for me and I've stayed dry, which is what I wanted.

Mathew Wang

Good value and better made than I expected.

Good value and better made than I expected. The frame feels substantial, although I wouldn't choose it for really extreme winds. Folded up it stores neatly in the sort of space I'd usually put a water bottle. Opening is straightforward, and the button also makes folding the canopy convenient.

Jane Nolan

No trouble with the umbrella itself.

People have commented on the handle - is that a loop, how do you hold it, that looks different! No trouble with the umbrella itself. It stays in my work bag and the amount of cover when it opens is a nice surprise. I'm glad I paid a little extra for something practical that still gets a bit of conversation going on a wet day!

Carrie Berry

this one feels worth bringing, even when rain isn't the reason.

Being outside with the baby is what keeps me sane...but standing in the sun all day isn't for me. With this along on our stroller walks I can have some shade!!! Such a relief to get out of the house!! I keep it folded in my purse when we're not using it..it isn't feather light and I did pause over the price, but I'm glad I bought it. I've carried cheaper umbrellas and ended up wishing for a bit more shade...this one feels worth bringing, even when rain isn't the reason.

Gregory Perry

Has handled Chicago's blustery rain well.

Has handled Chicago's blustery rain well. A quick button press draws the canopy together, which is handy when I'm getting into the car. I can concentrate on getting myself inside rather than wrestling an umbrella. Folded up, it fits neatly in the storage compartment of my car door.

Emily Dean

For rain I have no complaints at all.

I chose Cream White for walking from one building to another at work, mainly to have some shade. It is a handy size and looks nice, but on a hot day I still feel quite warm underneath, so it wasn't quite the relief I had in mind. For rain I have no complaints at all. I'm keeping it, though I will probably reach for it more when the forecast is wet than when it's just sunny.

Dwayne Holt

This is for my five year old niece to take to school.

This is for my five year old niece to take to school. She thinks it looks lovely and likes pressing the button to put it up. Her mom helps with the final push to pack it away, but likes how neatly it folds for carrying. Now if she'd stop wanting it open when there isn't a cloud anywhere!

Shannon Chandler

I love how handy this umbrella is!

I love how handy this umbrella is! An umbrella ad online had put the idea in my head and I'm more happier with this than I expected. Nice for walking when the rain starts, even if I'm out after dark. It works well and I'd recommend it to anyone wanting something easy to carry.

Joanne Hunter

An umbrella can only do so much about that.

Used it in a really wet, blustery spell and the frame held up nicely. Rain was splashing everywhere though, so my legs still got drenched haha. An umbrella can only do so much about that. It's been out with me plenty since and still feels like a very well made umbrella.

Greg Horton

I'd rather straighten it out and put it away as usual.

I was after something well made with good coverage, not an umbrella I'd be binning the moment a gust turned it over. I'd rather straighten it out and put it away as usual. The flexible frame feels right for that, and there's room for my partner and me to share if we stay close. I even had the silly thought of holding it over the outdoor grill so I could carry on cooking through a shower. I'm joking, although I suppose it could be done if you were determined enough.

Karla Huffman

No complains from me about this umbie.

No complains from me about this umbie. It's been out with me in wet Boston weather and those Miami downpours and has been very useful. It's a folding umbrella, so I wasn't expecting giant coverage. In really heavy rain I wear my raincoat too and use this over my head and bag. Fits into my everyday bag (not one of those bags with room for your entire house...) and is just handy to have.

Adrienne Mora

It makes a pleasant patch of shade to stand under.

I spent longer than I expected comparing umbrellas before settling on this one. What appealed to me was the compact shape when put away, the simple button opening, and the flexible ribs. The pink top is cheerful without being too much, and I particularly wanted that black underside rather than something bright right above my face. It makes a pleasant patch of shade to stand under. After using it for a while, I'm wondering why I waited so long to carry an umbrella for sunshine as well as rain! It comes along on walks, to the fair, and when I'm wandering round the farmers' market. Those are all places where I can end up outside longer than planned. Skin cancer has affected my family, so being thoughtful about time in the sun is something I take personally. It is comfortable enough to hold through a long walk, and once folded it isn't an awkward long object to carry home. Open, it shades my head and shoulders nicely, with room to adjust it as the sun moves. The loop handle feels secure in my hand, and I can hold it a little behind my shoulder without feeling I'm wrestling with it. My husband and I appreciated it at the fair; standing close, we could both get some shade, though this is really a personal umbrella rather than one for a whole group. That balance between useful coverage and a manageable size suits me very well. For what I paid, I'm delighted with it. It has become one of those things I reach for without much thought before heading out. Anyone who dislikes baking in the sun will understand the appeal of having a little shade that goes along with you!

Danielle Osborne

Absolutely love this umbrella.

Absolutely love this umbrella. Everything about it looks so well put together, right down to the handle, and the beige is a wonderful colour. I'd recommend it 100%. Honestly it looks more like something someone took care designing than just another umbrella. There is a bit of bulk and some weight to it, but the materials feel good enough that I don't mind at all. The black underneath with the beige outside is such a beautiful combination. For me it is an excellent umbrella, one of the nicest I've owned. Couldn't be happier with it. Negatives... nothing for me.

Billy English

So I'm happy overall.

I wanted something that wouldn't give in at the first gust and this has been good in the wind I've had. So I'm happy overall. The handle is a little short for my hand and packing it away takes some effort...the button shuts the canopy, then you press the stem down manually until it clicks. Fine once you know, just not quite effortless :)

Ronnie Webb

Much less of a scramble at the door.

I first got one of these a few years back and have found the button really useful when getting into the car in rain. Press it to gather the canopy, get inside, then finish shortening it by hand. Much less of a scramble at the door. It looks smart and is a sensible size to keep in the car. I've now chosen two as Christmas gifts for people at work. Hopefully they get as much use out of theirs as I have.

Meagan Hancock

My old umbrella lasted fifteen years, so replacing it was overdue.

My old umbrella lasted fifteen years, so replacing it was overdue. I've had this one about six months and I like the compact shape and how readily the canopy opens and closes. It does feel heavier in my bag than the old one did, which I hadn't really thought about when buying it. Nothing has gone wrong with it, I'm just not sure yet whether it will become another long term favourite. A good umbrella for now, and easy to use, but I need more time before judging how long it lasts.

Renee Costa

It is NOT something to learn with, it's for keeping rain off.

Why am I being asked to judge this for educational value? It is NOT something to learn with, it's for keeping rain off. I don't see what a toy rating has to do with an umbrella, or how I could sensibly answer those questions. Judging it on the job it actually does, though, I have no complaints and my daughter is delighted!

Jocelyn Villegas

Looks good overall.

Looks good overall. The oval handle is a little snug for my hand(especially around the fingers). Opening is easy and the canopy gives decent cover. No problems using it in rain.Just would have preferred a roomier handle. I like the umbrella otherwise and will keep using it.

Gabriella Mitchell

Some of the reviews made me wonder how long this would last, but…

Some of the reviews made me wonder how long this would last, but several weeks on it's doing fine. We do have a few rules for him: no playing with it indoors, no using it as a toy, and no dragging it along the ground outside. Whether that's made the difference I don't know, but I'm pleased with it.

Allison Torres

I'm 6'4 and need reasonable coverage, which this gives me.

I walk about a mile and a half each way in Pittsburgh, so an umbrella gets plenty of use. I'm 6'4 and need reasonable coverage, which this gives me. The weight is comfortable to carry and the oval loop sits well in my hand. I've carried an umbrella on this route for years, and this is a welcome replacement. Useful to be able to fold it away rather than keep holding it.

Alexandria Morton

Just what we were hoping for.

The gray is attractive and easy for us to pick out from the darker umbrellas at a gathering. The opening button works nicely, and there is enough room for one adult without feeling crowded. I gave it to my engineer husband at Christmas and he was pleased with the construction and the way it folds down. Just what we were hoping for.

Christine Patel

It certainly looks enough to keep me dry.

Only just received this so it hasn't had a rainy outing yet. I opened it up for a look and was quite surprised at the coverage, much more than I expected from it folded. It certainly looks enough to keep me dry. I'll add to this when I've actually had some rain to try.

Gary Proctor

Matches the description well.

Matches the description well. My previous larger umbrella was heavy and awkward to handle, whereas this 105cm one feels much more manageable once open. The action is straightforward. To pack it away, the button collapses the canopy, then you press the telescoping shaft fully down until it catches. That last push needs to be completed properly.

Rebekah Contreras

so yes, perhaps not my cleverest colour choice.

I posted this to my brother-in-law at Christmas so didn't see him unwrap it. Apparently he was very pleased- said it looked sturdy and would be useful. I picked black, which probably doesn't help with the "oh I thought that was mine" problem (ha). His previous umbrella disappeared while I had it---also plain black, and there were too many alike to work out who'd taken it... so yes, perhaps not my cleverest colour choice. Still, he likes this one.

Linda Robles

This one has been a different experience.

Living in the Pacific Northwest, I see plenty of umbrellas looking sorry for themselves after a wet, windy day. This one has been a different experience. My walk to work includes a bridge over the water, where the rain seems to come at you from every direction. I've carried it across there and been very glad of the cover. I LOVE that it folds down to go in my backpack afterwards, rather than being another thing in my hand. No inside-out dramas on my walks so far. It's become one of those things I reach for without even thinking about it.

Yolanda Aguirre

Nothing alarming about that, but worth saying.

For more than a decade I've been carrying a big golf umbrella, and there wasn't really anything wrong with it. It had survived plenty of unpleasant days and I trusted it. The trouble was everything that happened between those unpleasant days. Carrying a long umbrella around when the forecast turned out to be wrong gets old. Eventually I decided that wanting something smaller was a good enough reason to change, even if the old one hadn't actually given up. On taking it out, my first reaction was that compact doesn't necessarily mean tiny or weightless. This is a fairly substantial object in your hand. The frame looks busy, with a lot more going on underneath than my old umbrella, and the folded package still takes up some room. Nothing alarming about that, but worth saying. If your idea of a compact umbrella is something you forget is in a jacket pocket, this probably isn't what you have in mind. Then came the ridiculous part where I wanted the weather to turn bad. After spending all this time choosing an umbrella, I wanted to actually use the thing. A wet, windy day in New York eventually supplied the opportunity, and the first lesson was fairly obvious: a compact umbrella isn't a golf umbrella. I knew that before buying it, but apparently needed my sleeves to explain it to me again. Walking normally, with it centered over me, the coverage was good. My head and most of my upper body stayed dry. In rain coming across at an angle, the outside of my arms got wet, and it wasn't going to do much for my lower legs. I'm fairly broad across the shoulders, so that matters to me. It wasn't leaking or doing anything wrong; there was simply less roof available than I was accustomed to. That's a compromise, not some mysterious failure of umbrella technology. The handle took a little more consideration than I expected. It's a closed oval loop, rather than the sort of open hooked handle you can casually drape over whatever is nearby. I can get a few fingers through it, which makes it feel secure, although that isn't always how I want to hold an umbrella for an entire walk. I ended up changing my grip occasionally. Not uncomfortable exactly, just different enough that I noticed it instead of forgetting it was there. The encouraging part was how composed the frame felt when the wind caught it. There was some movement, naturally, but I didn't spend the whole walk wrestling with it or waiting for it to turn inside out. I haven't tested it in anything I'd call extreme weather, and don't intend to go looking for that. In the conditions I actually encountered, it did its job without demanding much attention. That counts for rather more than an impressive-looking frame sitting in my apartment. The reduced size was also a benefit once I got among other people. My old umbrella could make a crowded pavement feel like an obstacle course. With this one I could pass people more easily and make small adjustments without sweeping such a large area. I still had to be considerate about where the edges were, obviously. And seeing ahead depends on how you hold it; it hasn't magically removed the usual choice between lowering an umbrella into approaching rain and having a clear view. Opening it is probably my favorite part. Pressing the button is much less fiddly than trying to get everything extended while standing at a doorway, deciding how much of yourself to put outside first. There's a definite action to it, and I give it space rather than pointing it toward my face. It's a simple convenience, but it's one I appreciate each time. No elaborate maneuver required, which is exactly what I wanted. Closing needs a slightly longer explanation. The button brings the canopy together, but the telescoping pole still needs to be compressed manually before it's ready for the next opening. That's the normal sequence, not the automatic mechanism giving up halfway through. It took me a couple of tries to make that sequence feel natural. I would prefer less effort at that last stage, particularly when everything is wet, but it isn't a reason to call the umbrella defective. I just don't describe it to people as doing absolutely everything with one press. Reading this back, I've devoted a lot of space to the compromises. Four stars still seems right. It gives me good everyday coverage, behaves reassuringly in the weather I've used it in, and is much less cumbersome to take along than the large umbrella it replaced. I'd welcome a little less bulk when folded and an easier final compression, and broad-shouldered users shouldn't expect golf-umbrella coverage. But those are things I can live with. The important part is that I'm reaching for this one when I leave, rather than finding excuses to keep using the old one.

Madeline Daugherty

I thought it was good value as a child's gift.

A fun little umbrella for a child who likes pretending to be a fire fighter. The blue is a lovely color and the size seems right for what we wanted. Using it is straightforward. How long anything like this lasts has a lot to do with how it's treated, of course, but it looks sensibly put together. I thought it was good value as a child's gift. It was in nice condition when opened, and now we are waiting eagerly for some rain!!! I suspect it will be taken outside either way. Good fun.

Sophia Carey

The handle also ended up wet as I moved it about.

For years I carried a much larger umbrella and put up with its size because it had earned its place. It kept me covered, it lasted, and I didn't spend much time thinking about it. Eventually, though, carrying that much umbrella on days when it might not even rain started to seem ridiculous. I wanted something smaller without feeling as though I was giving up a proper umbrella altogether. That's how I ended up trying this one. Handling it for the first time, the folded bulk was what stood out. It's considerably less awkward than my old umbrella, but there's still a substantial bundle of fabric and frame there. It feels like an actual piece of equipment rather than something disposable, which I appreciate. On the other hand, if your idea is to tuck it into a small jacket pocket and forget about it, I wouldn't buy it with that expectation. Then came the waiting for rain. It's funny how replacing something so ordinary can make you interested in weather you normally complain about. A properly wet day in New York finally gave me a chance to use it, and my first reaction was that I had definitely traded some coverage for convenience. My head and the middle of my body were fine. The outside of my arms wasn't quite so fortunate, particularly when the rain came across rather than straight down. I'm fairly broad across the shoulders, so this deserves some context. An umbrella can be perfectly reasonable in size and still leave me wanting another few inches on either side. My trousers also got wet below the area it covered. None of that makes it a bad umbrella, but anyone moving over from a large one should be realistic. Smaller folded size doesn't somehow preserve all that extra shelter. The handle also ended up wet as I moved it about. That isn't especially surprising, but it makes the shape more noticeable. The oval loop gives me a secure place to hold it, and I wasn't struggling to keep my grip. What I don't find quite as natural is changing hand position. There is a defined space for your fingers rather than the freedom of holding a longer, straight handle. It's usable, just a different feel. Once I stopped comparing the coverage with my old umbrella every ten seconds, there was quite a lot to enjoy. In the breezy stretches it felt composed. I could feel movement through the frame, but I wasn't constantly stopping to straighten things or wrestling to keep it pointed where I wanted. This was normal unpleasant city weather, not some heroic storm test. For that kind of use, it gave me confidence without demanding much attention. The reduced spread is also an advantage on crowded pavements. I had more room to pass people without lifting the umbrella over every other head, and changing direction was less of a production. Of course, this is the other side of the coverage complaint. You can't really ask for something that takes up less space around you and then be amazed when it covers less space around you. I know that, even if my wet sleeves occasionally disagree. Opening it is probably the part I appreciated most immediately. I can get it ready at the doorway, press the button, and have the canopy spread before stepping fully outside. There's no reaching up into the frame and no fiddling around while trying to keep everything else tucked against me. It's a quick, useful action, rather than a feature that sounds impressive and then doesn't change how you use the thing. Closing needs a slightly more careful description. Another press collapses the canopy, but you still compress the telescoping shaft yourself. Once I understood the sequence it was straightforward. I mention it because “automatic close” could easily suggest that the entire umbrella retracts into its shortest form. It doesn't. The button saves you dealing with the open canopy; it doesn't remove every bit of handling involved in packing an umbrella away. That last bit of handling is where I find it less convenient than the demonstration in my head. Wet fabric still needs arranging if you want a reasonably tidy bundle, and shortening the shaft is easier when you can give it your attention. If I'm carrying other things, I need a moment to sort myself out. Nothing is failing to work here. It simply isn't an entirely hands-off process once you're out of the rain. Reading that back, I've spent quite a while discussing the compromises. Four stars still feels right. It's much more manageable to take along, opens promptly, and has kept the important parts of me dry without a fight. My reservations are about coverage, folded bulk, and the small amount of sorting out after use. I would recommend it to someone wanting a substantial compact umbrella, provided they're not expecting either a full-size walking shelter or something weightless. For my everyday use, the trade is worthwhile.

I pictured a cooler white when I ordered.

I pictured a cooler white when I ordered. The Cream White has a warmer tone than I expected. I haven't taken it outside yet, though trying the button at home was straightforward. It's coming abroad with me and there's no time left to change colours. I wanted something for showers as well as a bit of shade, but this doesn't go with the clothes I'd set aside. I'll use it, just not quite the look I had in mind.

Chris Rubio

A handy little umbrella and a nice idea for a stocking filler.

A handy little umbrella and a nice idea for a stocking filler. It fits in a backpack or a larger handbag, ready for those showers that appear out of nowhere. I wouldn't expect it to shelter me completely in driving rain, but that's not why I wanted it. Living on the gulf coast, we get enough wet afternoons that having one packed along makes a lot of sense.

Virginia Oneal

Good value for an umbrella!

Good value for an umbrella! The kids are delighted with theirs and their school friends seem to like them too. I like the plain black, it goes with everything, and they feel nicely put together. The oval handle is a nice change!! Nothing fancy, just a useful umbrella that does what we need.

Howard Fisher

There is good coverage against rain.

Still trying to decide which umbrella to get? I would say give this one a chance. The shaft has a solid feeling and there are so many ribs close together. Opened out it is a generous size, although it doesn't take up that space when folded. It seems strong. Unless I leave it somewhere, I think it will be with me for quite a while on wet days. There is good coverage against rain. It came inside a rectangular box with very little extra length. There was plastic wrapping around it at first. Taking that off, I found the cover. The cover is fabric, like umbrella material. Then you take it from the sleeve and there is the umbrella itself. A press on the handle button sends it open. The canopy spreads out nicely and all those ribs give it quite a firm shape. The green is a nice colour too. I like it a lot. Another colour might be my next purchase. No need to keep looking. The roughly ten day wait was not my favourite part. Apart from that I have nothing to grumble about. For the money it is an excellent umbrella. Paid for with my own money, and these are my thoughts. My score is 5 stars from 100. *****.

Joy Collier

Mine arrived surprisingly quickly.

Pretty enough for a wedding party, but equally useful just to shade your face on a sunny day. I do wish there was a little more space underneath it, though that is only a small complaint. Mine arrived surprisingly quickly. I'm delighted with how it looks and would certainly consider buying another.

Kendra Gray

One point for staying dry!

One point for staying dry! 😊 It arrived promptly, and the build feels substantial, with a frame that looks well put together. It does take up more space and feels heavier than the really small umbrellas, so that is worth considering if you want something barely noticeable in a bag. For me, the extra substance feels reassuring rather than inconvenient. Overall it seems like a sturdy, carefully made umbrella and I am pleased with it.

Jackie Lin

They made a great set of jellyfish, so I'm glad I went ahead!

I had a few doubts after looking through reviews, but needed six umbrellas for the "jellyfish" in our school musical. The pink was just the shade we were looking for, so I took a chance. All six looked as expected when I unpacked them, and they worked nicely for the scene. They made a great set of jellyfish, so I'm glad I went ahead!

Loretta Carr

A very good umbrella.

A very good umbrella. I was a little unsure when I first picked it up because it felt quite hefty for something that folds. There is some weight to it but it feels reassuring rather than flimsy. I've been out with it in wind and it behaved well. The cover is generous enough to keep my shoulders dry in proper rain. And pressing a button to open it is so useful. I'd happily recommend it.

Sophia Baldwin

The frame feels solid and the whole thing seems put together well.

The frame feels solid and the whole thing seems put together well. The loop handle is comfortable enough, although my fingers could use a bit more room. Pressing the button takes a firmer push than I expected. Not a big complaint. For what it costs, I'm satisfied with it. I'd happily keep one as a spare, and it would make a sensible replacement for an everyday umbrella.

Jesus Zuniga

This blue umbrella does it for me.

Want a little prettiness on a rainy day? This blue umbrella does it for me. Nothing fussy, just a nice shape and a colour I enjoy carrying. I've had several compliments and a few, :"Where did you find that?" which makes me smile every time. Makes the puddles on the sidewalk seem a little less dreary. And for anyone wondering, I'm 66.

Colleen Morris

Nice umbrella - pleased with this one.

Nice umbrella - pleased with this one. There is a cover for carrying. Quality looks excellent, it springs open with a press and the canopy gathers back with the next. The stem is shortened by hand after this. Strong looking ribs. Only need more practice rolling it neatly, I cannot get the folds quite like they arrived. A good purchase, I recommend!

Bethany Stein

Pleased with how it works.

Pleased with how it works. Being able to open it and bring the canopy down with the same button is really useful. It weighs a little more in my hand than my last umbrella, which is the trade-off, but the frame seems solid and it has handled the rain well. Overall, a good buy.

Whitney Oneal

These have turned out to be a good choice.

The reviews were a bit all over the place, but at this price I decided it was worth a go. These have turned out to be a good choice. Plenty of cover and they seem decently made. Opening them is easy and putting them away is straightforward too. I'd recommend trying one!

Ebony Wilkins

I'd recommend having one handy without hesitation.

Wow, these turned out just the way I'd hoped! I'm a Big Guy, so there's quite a bit of me to keep dry. This gives me useful coverage without being a great long thing to carry around when the rain stops. Press the button and up it goes - that's the bit I really like. It feels solid when it's up, not like the flimsy little things I've had before. Can't ask much more than that! Three (3) might sound like too many, but it makes sense when you keep leaving umbrellas in the wrong place. I keep a spare at work, another in the car, and one by the golf bag. All black, so no thinking about what goes with what. A proper useful umbrella rather than something disposable. I'd recommend having one handy without hesitation.
