Back for my third one of these. The first got left in a cab after keeping me dry through some very heavy rain in Puerto Rico. The next disappeared after plenty of use on my daily public transport journeys in unpredictable weather. I hope I manage to hang on to this one for longer, but it's nice knowing which umbrella I'd get if I had to replace it!
Brendan Valentine
Very happy to recommend it.
Mine still hasn't turned inside out! It has had plenty of use on windy, rainy days here and stayed manageable. After roughly 30 outings over four months, the fabric and frame look much as they did at the start. Nothing has worked loose or worn noticeably. Very happy to recommend it.

Arrived promptly and packed well.
Arrived promptly and packed well. The quality looks excellent and the folded lenght is what I needed for our luggage..it fits diagonally without a fight!Recomended. My wife likes the design and the overall look, the shaft seems solid too. Looks even nicer with the canopy open and should be easy enough to take along.

Most of my umbrella use is walking to and from the bus for work.
Most of my umbrella use is walking to and from the bus for work. My old large one always seemed to be in the way, both carrying it and trying to see ahead. I noticed an older lady managing a smaller umbrella much more easily and thought, why am I hauling this great thing around? This one gives me enough cover without feeling like I'm walking under a tent. I hold it high enough to see ahead, and the quick opening is handy at the bus stop. Havent had it out in much wind yet, so can't speak for that. It's manageable to carry even if the rain never comes. Love it. I'd happily choose this one again.
Louis Terrell
Really happy with all three!
Ordered three for the flower girls at my wedding and I love how they look! The girls were delighted too. They seem solid enough for my lively little sisters to handle without me worrying. Getting them here took a little over two weeks, but I wasn't in a rush. Really happy with all three!
Nicolas Pittman
I found this umbrella for her and she was delighted.
With rain a possibility for her wedding, my daughter wanted something she and her husband could stand under together. I found this umbrella for her and she was delighted. It made its way into quite a few wedding pictures as well! They look lovely tucked in close under it, and she's still finding excuses to get another photo of the two of them!
Sydney Glover
Pretty umbrella and properly useful too.
Pretty umbrella and properly useful too.It gives me more shade than the small umbrella I normally use, and standing beneath it feels much nicer in the sun! The frame has coped with a breeze without folding backwards, which is reassuring when you're carrying it open.VERY PLEASED!

Nicely put together, though the open size caught me out.
Nicely put together, though the open size caught me out. I expected more coverage and even got the tape out to check the roughly 105cm width. Fine as a compact umbrella for one, but it feels smaller underneath than I pictured. If you want plenty of extra room, look for something larger.
Dorothy Kennedy
It has been out many times now and works as it should.
We've had a fair amount of rain here since this arrived, so it hasn't been sitting unused. The comments I read before buying were quite mixed and I wasn't sure what to expect. No trouble with mine. It has been out many times now and works as it should. I appreciate the coverage, I don't want something tiny just for the sake of fitting it away. The beige canopy also makes it easier to pick mine out amongst all the dark umbrellas. There seem to be ribs everywhere underneath, which gives it a well supported feel. Water shakes off quite readily too and it hasn't taken long to dry after use. I still keep another folding umbrella in my bag, but if I'm leaving the house knowing it's raining this is the one I take. Only thing stopping five stars is the oval loop handle. There's nothing wrong with it, it just doesn't sit as naturally in my hand as a straight handle would. That is a personal preference more than a complaint about how it works. Overall it has been a useful purchase.
Wanda Jennings
Lovely purchase!
The umbrella feels really sturdy and springs open promptly when I press the button. Folding the canopy is easy too, although compressing the shaft afterwards needs a firm push. I like the simple gray finish and have had some nice comments about it. It makes a wet day feel a bit less miserable, which is exactly what I wanted. Lovely purchase!
Raven Abbott
People keep noticing it and saying how nice it looks.
Wanted something to make wet days feel a little less gloomy and this has done that. People keep noticing it and saying how nice it looks. It has felt steady when a gust catches it, rather than flipping over on me. The canopy is roomy enough for two of us walking close together, which is another thing I appreciate.
Brittany Clark
Good solid umbrella and worth what I paid.
After months of carrying it about, everything still works well. Good solid umbrella and worth what I paid. The flexible ribs have handled the breezes I've used it in without trouble. I'd recommend it. Had to laugh at the packaging though, such a small umbrella sitting in a box big enough for a stack of them. Quite odd...
Shelia Bridges
So pleased she likes it, love love it!
I chose this for my neice's birthday and she was delighted with it. She was wandering all over the house carrying it and wanting to try the button (nice not having to fiddle with a little metal catch to get it open). The size looked good, enough umbrella to keep her covered rather than just a tiny bit over her hair. Also feels nice and solid when you hold it. So pleased she likes it, love love it!
Tracie Duke
There is more weight to it than I expected.
There is more weight to it than I expected. The centre pole feels quite solid and the whole umbrella has a substantial feel. The automatic action works nicely and the sleeve is good too. Finish looks tidy. It is not the tiny sort I would put in every little bag, but I like having decent coverage in something that folds down. When packing it away I take a little care with my nails around the folds. For me the strength and size are worth the extra weight. Very good if that is what you want.
Madeline Dorsey
It's also been handy at the beach.
Shade is hard to find at summer track meets, and I burn easily, so this has become something I take along. It gives me a patch of shade without having to haul a shelter around. Other coaches and athletes have squeezed beside me when they needed a break from the sun too. It feels sturdy, and I can hold it comfortably while sitting beside the track. It's also been handy at the beach. Much less to carry than a tent, and easy to open when I want some shade and fold away when I don't. A very useful purchase that gets plenty of use.

Until you've actually been caught out in the rain, it's difficult…
Until you've actually been caught out in the rain, it's difficult to judge much about an umbrella beyond how it looks. I've spent more on ones that couldn't cope with a gust, so I'm fairly satisfied that this has stayed in shape through the wet, windy weather I've used it in. The beige is a little plainer in person than I had imagined from the picture. Nothing wrong with it, and it certainly doesn't affect using the umbrella, but I think I'd choose a livelier colour another time. Overall it seems a sensible buy rather than anything to get terribly excited about.
Isaiah Evans
I can use it, but it isn't quite the one I hoped for.
The umbrella itself opens properly and has kept the rain off, so there isn't really anything wrong with how it works. What makes it only average for me is - the beige looks different from what I pictured, and the folded size is more than I wanted. I can use it, but it isn't quite the one I hoped for.
Kristin Vasquez

Can't wait to have this with me on a proper rainy day - it feels excellent. Waiting outside school for the kids is when I most need decent cover, so that's what it's for. Already thinking my husband should have one too - very happy with how this one looks and feels.

Handy when a walk turns wet...
Lives in a bottle pocket on my backpack without getting in the way. Handy when a walk turns wet...even if the walk is only across campus. Feels a little less substantial than a full sized one, but I wanted something packable. Good to keep there for "might need it"
Mark Boyer
good cover without carrying a great long umbrella around.
i haven't had a folding umbrella that felt this substantial before. its rainy season here and my old cheap umbrella was coming apart. ordered four of these, one stays at the office and the other three are in my cars. the sleeve is handy and the whole thing feels better put together than what i've had before. i like watching how neatly it opens with the button. good cover without carrying a great long umbrella around. would definitely recommend.

My old umbrella used to turn itself inside out in hardly any wind,…
My old umbrella used to turn itself inside out in hardly any wind, which was getting embarrassing. I wanted something that felt a bit more dependable, and this has been reassuring so far. It has stayed put when I've needed it, with enough room overhead to keep me and my bag covered.
Antonio Wiley
Happy with the umbrella and the way it handles the rain.
I wanted a plain coloured umbrella with decent coverage and this one has been a good choice. The pink is what I was after. Pictures don't always help with judging size, but opened up it gives me enough room. Folds down smaller than I expected too. Happy with the umbrella and the way it handles the rain.
Warren Orozco
I've been impressed with this one so far.
Umbrellas don't tend to last long in our house, regardless of what we spend. I've been impressed with this one so far. It's seen plenty of rain, including a very wet, blustery afternoon watching one of the kids play soccer. The frame came through fine and it still opens just as neatly afterwards. There's comfortable cover for one. My spouse and I could both get under it standing close together on the sidelines, though I wouldn't call it roomy for two walking. The weather got bad enough that they stopped the game at half time, so I was especially glad we'd brought it along!
Gabriela Deleon
Time will tell how long they last.
I've bought a few to leave in the car and pack with my work or travel things. They suit that purpose fine. I wouldn't describe them as heavy duty, and I probably wouldn't choose one for a really rough storm. For the rain I normally need an umbrella for, though, they do a decent job. Time will tell how long they last.

I bought this for shade, not as a fashion accessory.
I bought this for shade, not as a fashion accessory. Keeping the sun off my face and out of my eyes matters more to me than looking elegant. The green top is quite practical looking. I call it my little portable roof, which is about the level of glamour involved. It does the job and feels substantial without being something I have to leave at home. I don't like going out without an umbrella now. I've even held it between my poodle and a loose dog, and the dog decided to leave us alone. Also used it as a barrier when somebody nearby was coughing. Perhaps not what most people buy an umbrella for, but there you are. It gets asked to do quite a few jobs for one ordinary umbrella. For the price I am satisfied. Took it on the plane with me rather than packing it away, and would buy it again. Update: After two years of daily use it is still in one piece. I should have used the sleeve more faithfully when putting it away; it would look tidier now if I had.

Thankyou, this is great !
Thankyou, this is great !Only used it once up to now so still early days, but I am looking forward to having it along when the rain comes back. Here in Perth there's usually some wind to go with it, so I'll soon have more idea how it goes in our weather, have had enough of umbrellas that turn themselves the wrong way at the first breeze. This one seems a lot more substantial. Love the black too, plain and smart looking which is just the way I wanted it.
Kelly Galvan
Useful in rain too, though playing in rain isn't my idea of fun.
Good for a bit of shade while walking round the golf course on a sunny day. Useful in rain too, though playing in rain isn't my idea of fun. It has a little more heft than some folding umbrellas, but feels sturdy for it. When I'm already using the push cart, carrying this along doesn't feel like much extra.
Lisa Costa
no trouble with it so far at all.
i have quite a collection of umbrellas and this one has become one i reach for a lot. i like a nice looking umbrella, not just something to grab when it rains. it opens out to give me decent cover and i have had people comment on how nice it looks. no trouble with it so far at all. i still like my long stick umbrellas too, but a folding one is easier to take along. this has been a lovely addition and i would certainly be happy to have another!
Ann Avila
An easy one to recommend.
Better than I'd expected for the money. The gray is a nice deep shade and the whole umbrella has a solid feel. I haven't needed it very often yet, so I'mstill getting familiar with the opening button. Once up, there's comfortable room for me and what I'm carrying. The ribs feel substantial without making it awkward to take along. Not tested in anything extreme, but fine in breezy rain so far.I really can't fault it and would happily have another. An easy one to recommend. Excellent!!

The handle was the other thing I had a little look at.
Something rather funny about a cream white umbrella in miserable weather eh?Anyway, the look caught my eye, but I wasn't sure how the opening worked. I wanted one that popped up rather than having to get underneath it and push everything into place. Looking at pictures only gets you so far with that.Thankfully a press of the button does it, and this is now the umbrella I reach for first. Another press draws the canopy shut, although you still push the telescopic part down yourself. Worth knowing before you stand there expecting the whole thing to shrink on its own. The end isn't something I'd want to keep knocking against the pavement. It is an umbrella rather than a walking stick, despite my habit of tapping things with whatever I'm carrying. But honestly, it looks nice and keeps the rain off, which covers most of my requirements. The handle was the other thing I had a little look at. It's a closed oval loop rather than the usual curved hook. I wasn't quite sure where my hand was meant to settle at first but it is comfortable to hold. Not that sensible holding is always what happens, as I have a tendency to wave folded umbrellas around like swords. There, now you know that about me. It goes neatly into its sleeve when I'm finished, so I can carry it without quite so much temptation to mess about.
Kurt Clay
Absolutely recommend it!
I had been looking around for a blue umbrella and nearly bought a different one - until I added up what it would cost, well. No thanks. A bit more looking brought me to this one and it seemed much better value. The photos made it look nice, but the blue is even better when you actually see it!It opens out to a generous size for a folding umbrella, and the button action is so simple. Absolutely recommend it!
Alex Guerrero
Feels like a good buy--very pleased with the umbrella.
Rain hasn't arrived since I bought this, but I opened it up to have a feel of it and the quality seems lovely. I'm especially taken with the oval loop handle. Looking forward to finally taking it outside when the wet weather starts! Feels like a good buy--very pleased with the umbrella.

has done a lovely job keeping me dry as well!!
My old umbrella needed replacing and the pink on this one caught my eye straight away. Such a pretty colour...exactly the sort I like. The button gathers the canopy in before I push the shaft down by hand, which is handy. I'd definitely recommend it...has done a lovely job keeping me dry as well!!

Just what I was hoping for when I ordered.
Just what I was hoping for when I ordered. I thought it might look darker, but the beige outside is lovely with the black underneath. Much nicer seeing it opened up than just looking at a picture! It isn't a burden to carry either. I wanted an umbrella that could come out in the sunshine as well as rain and this suits me. I have long hair and appreciate a little shade over my head when I'm outside. Sometimes you just want to keep the sun off for a while, and this is a pretty way to do it!
Kimberly Murillo
Overall I can recommend this umbrella.
I got the umbrella through a game where you water a tree, for a very small amount. It reached me after 13 days and I was able to track the parcel.
There is a carry sleeve with the umbrella. Folded, it measures about 40 cm, so it needs a suitable place in a bag. It is compact compared with a full length umbrella, not something I would expect to disappear into every pocket.
The weight is roughly 390 g. I hope the solid feel means it will last with use. I have not tried it in heavy rain or very strong winds yet. The open canopy is approximately 105 cm wide, roomy for one and possible for two if standing close. It is supported by 30 flexible ribs.
A useful advantage is opening it by pressing one button. The same control also folds the canopy. Afterwards, the telescoping shaft is pressed back by hand until it is reset for carrying.
Overall I can recommend this umbrella. It is best to consider both the open size and the folded size for your own needs.
Pleasant shopping to everyone.

For the money I'm happy with it.
Seems solidly made and I like how it feels overall. The loop grip is fine, though my hands are large and I'd appreciate a bit more room. Takes a fairly firm press on the button compared with others I've used, but I can live with that. For the money I'm happy with it.Worth having as a spare, or as your everyday umbrella if you haven't got a decent one.

A little brightness when the sky is miserable!
A little brightness when the sky is miserable! The cream white has such a lovely look, it makes carrying an umbrella feel less of a chore. You still get the practical bit of staying dry beneath it, just with something nicer to look at. Pretty and useful, which is all I wanted!Pros: Lovely colour; Good coverageCons: Button makes it quick to open, but pushing the stem down afterwards needs a bit of effort
Brittany Bowen
My wife and I stay dry together when we keep close underneath it.
Sharing suits us better than carrying separate umbrellas, so this is a good fit. My wife and I stay dry together when we keep close underneath it. The construction seems excellent, and I hope it gives us a good few years of use. An especially satisfying purchase for what I paid .
Brandy Sharp
The button opening is handy when I'm coming out of the station.
I take the train downtown and keep this tucked in my bag so rain doesn't catch me out. It isn't enormous, held fairly close it covers me without taking over the pavement when other people are walking past. The button opening is handy when I'm coming out of the station.
David Rosales
An umbrella that has impressed me, certainly.
An umbrella that has impressed me, certainly. This is my second purchase (there was already one in the car), with this one meant to stay at home. The build feels very substantial...the ribs hold the material neatly and the whole thing feels firm once opened. Other umbrellas I've owned have not given me quite the same confidence. It looks made to last, though of course that is something time will show. I'm happy with what I paid and with the decision to get another. If I ever need an extra one, I would go for this again without much thought. Recommended.

Nothing wrong with how it works, just worth knowing if space is tight.
A good solid umbrella, The automatic canopy opening and closing works nicely. Its compact compared with a straight umbrella, but not a tiny one that disappears in a bag. My only gripe is the folded bulk for the price, I expected it to pack a little smaller. Nothing wrong with how it works, just worth knowing if space is tight.
Daniel Reynolds
Really impressed with this umbrella!
Really impressed with this umbrella! There's enough room over me that my messenger bag isn't hanging out getting soaked on the walk to work, which was the main thing I wanted. The handle has a nice secure feel and I don't find my hand aching after carrying it for a longer walk. Once the rain stops I can close the canopy with the button and shorten the stem, rather than keep a long umbrella under my arm.**Note: It isn't one of those tiny covers you can squeeze through a busy pavement without thinking, you still need to watch where the edges are!
Katelyn Abbott
I'm happy to give it five stars !
ReviewingCream White compact automatic umbrellaI am delighted with this and have already picked up more for gifts. My husband laughs at how taken I am with cream white things, including an umbrella! It looks even lovelier in person and feels properly made........not just pretty to look at. The automatic canopy closing is a nice extra too. For the money, I think it is a very nice choice.I'm happy to give it five stars ! Deserves every one !
Alicia Kane
The coverage is VERY GOOD.
Had doubts about the beige from the photo, but in person it is really attractive. A bit deeper in colour than I expected. It has some heft without being a chore to carry, feels reassuring in the hand. The coverage is VERY GOOD. Plenty for me!The canopy material feels nicely finished too.If it eventually wears out I would happily buy the same one again.

Now we're waiting for some rain!
My three-year-old loves umbrellas and has already taken a shine to this one. It is adult sized, so I'll be carrying it for us rather than leaving her to manage it herself. Only arrived today, so I can't judge how it'll last (no problems with how it looks or works so far). Easy for me to open and fold the canopy, and quite cute. Now we're waiting for some rain!
Joy Sherman
It gives good coverage without that bulky feeling.
Matches the description well. My previous larger umbrella felt heavy and awkward to carry, whereas this 105cm one feels nicely balanced when opened. It gives good coverage without that bulky feeling. For closing, the button gathers the canopy and you need to push the telescoping shaft right down to reset it properly.
Allen Mccarthy
It DID keep me dry and gave me enough cover.
I took this on a recent trip to Japan because rain seemed likely, and I was hoping it would feel as convenient as the umbrella I used to have. It was alright. The construction feels sound, although the overall feel isn't quite as nice as I'd imagined. It stayed the right way round in the wind I encountered and the automatic action did its job. Pressing the button shuts the canopy, then you have to compress the stem yourself before opening it again. That's normal for this one, just not the effortless closing I had in mind.My main issue was carrying it around for several hours between showers. Folded, it still took a noticeable amount of room and I found the closed loop handle less natural for me than expected. It DID keep me dry and gave me enough cover. Sharing would mean staying close together, not spreading out under a huge canopy. Overall it is usable and seems well made, but it didn't quite live up to my expectations.
Timothy Fisher
Overall I'm happy with what I got for the price.
My four year old loves this umbrella, and for the money it seems fairly solid. Children aren't exactly gentle with their belongings, so I'm not expecting it to look new forever. Not sure any umbrella could stay pristine with the way kids handle things. The design is nice and the construction seems reasonable. Overall I'm happy with what I got for the price.

Five stars for matching the description.
Five stars for matching the description. The 30 flexible ribs give it a reassuring feel, and it has coped well with the rain on our walks. Coverage is comfortable for one person, with a folded size that is practical to carry along. It isn't an oversized umbrella for two, but that's fine for us. Also useful for shade when the sun comes out. A dependable choice for anyone who enjoys walking in changeable weather.
Breanna Bowers
Good umbrella, i have bought a second one now.
Good umbrella, i have bought a second one now. I would still be carefull with it when the wind gets strong, a folding umbrella has its limits. The handle gives a decent grip but I wouldn't go challenging a storm with it. For normal rainy days it does the job nicely, and looks good too.
