The coverage is nice, but the weight gets noticeable if I'm holding it for a long time, and the oval handle isn't quite as roomy as I'd like for my hand. Makes me think twice about carrying it everywhere. Other than those things, I'm satisfied with it.
PEOPLE OFTEN COMMENT ON HOW NICE THIS UMBRELLA LOOKS. I HOLD IT OUTSIDE THE CAR DOOR AND PRESS THE BUTTON BEFORE STEPPING OUT, SO I DON'T HAVE TO JUGGLE IT OPEN IN THE RAIN. THE BLUE IS CHEERFUL AND THE CANOPY IS A GOOD SIZE. MAKES A DREARY DAY BETTER.
My umbrella arrived and I had pictured it a little bigger then it is. Still going to use it at my wedding. Looking back at the description, the size is there, so that was my imagination. It looks nicely put together and should suit what I need. Thanks!
Mine has coped with some awful storms in Chicago and New York. Colleagues seem to be wrestling with theirs or buying another, while this one is still going strong. It gets knocked about on my weekly flights too, and hasn't seemed bothered by any of it.
After going through a few "travel" umbrellas, I wanted something that felt a bit more substantial. Well, this fits the bill. It still folds away, but the fabric and frame don't feel flimsy at all. Looks good too. For me it was worth spending the money.
used it about 5 or 6 times, doing fine so far. The button is handy, you do have to push the pole in by hand after closing the canopy before it'll open again, took me a min to remeber that duh. Lent it once and they called it a "nice umbrella", i agree.
We took this to Italy in June and ended up using it daily.It handled the rain and breezes nicely, but I appreciated it most in the sunshine.The shade made a noticeable difference in how hot I felt.I am getting two more today, that's how much I like it.
My four year old grandson has this for the little walk between the car and preschool. He gets plenty of use out of it and it still looks good. Covers him nicely, and has coped with the breezy days we've had. Excellent value!! Would certainly recommend!
For her tenth birthday my daughter asked for an umbrella that opens by button.This one looks smart and she also holds it up for shade. It coped with a gust on its first outing and still looks perfectly fine. Wouldn't be surprised if I borrow it myself!

Better than I thought it would be. I keep this one in the car and have a smaller umbrella for taking into the office. Between the two I am covered. What sold me on this one was the simple button action, and it seems sturdy enough for the use it'll get.
No idea why umbrellas get divided into men's and women's, guys dont need to worry about that. This feels solid and the automatic canopy closing is handy. Decent space underneath without being huge when packed away. Useful to keep in the car or at work.
Bought it for my husband to use when golfing. He doesn't like putting the cart cover down just for a bit of mist or a passing sprinkle, but still wants something over his clubs. This folds away neatly and gives him that bit of shelter. Looks smart too!
Originally meant for my daughter, but she ended up with two and I kept this one. It lives in my bag, a little bulky but not heavy. Handy when rain catches me out.just press and it springs open. cream white is the colour I expected. glad it came my way.
I've gone through quite a few umbrellas, with a windy walk into work most days. This one has a properly solid feel and has handled my commute well. I hesitated over the cost, honestly, but using it has made me feel much better about spending the money.
This spends more time decorating our outdoor patio than keeping rain off me. It's a nice cheerful touch out there, much as my old umbrella was. If it were entirely up to me I'd change the dark inside, but the family insist that's part of its character!
Two rounds of golf with this so far and I'm glad I brought it. The weather has been hot, and standing beneath it feels much more comfortable than being out in the sun. A little patch of shade I can take along. It has certainly earned its place with me!
Blue has always been my favourite, and this one really suits me. Looks just as pretty as it did in the photo. The broad canopy leaves me less wet than my previous umbrellas. A cheerful thing for miserable rainy days.Good quality, happy to recommend it.
This umbrella makes me think of the ones I loved as a kid. There was a mixup with mine at first, but it was put right quickly and everyone was helpful about it. I love having it now. My five year old niece has already said she wants one just like mine.
Much prettier in person than I expected. The size is enough for me and it seems nicely made. I've not been very lucky with umbrellas before so I was pleased that this feels sturdier. It really is a lovely looking thing, more so than the photos suggest.

Nice and tidy once it's in its sleeve. Getting the fabric folded neatly enough to slide it back in is another matter for these older hands (smile). I can manage, just not quickly. Apart from my fiddling about with that, it's a very attractive umbrella.

The pink looks great and the umbrella has been doing exactly what I need - keeping rain off me! I haven't had a chance to try it during our really windy season, though. Once autumn comes round I'll have a better idea how it handles that sort of weather
We needed something to leave in the car for unexpected rain. After trying this one a few times, we picked up another, so my wife and I can each keep one handy. I've had umbrellas give me years of use before, and this seems a sensible buy for the price.
Ordered it and tried it straight away. Opens well and the cream white looks very nice. The loop handle feels a bit different(not what I usually use). No trouble with it so far.Happy to keep this one, just would prefer a more traditional feeling handle.
This gets used almost every day for rain or shade. It does both jobs well, though I can't put a number on the sun protection. Gusts can make it a wrestling match.The sleeve is handy, but stuffing everything back inside is fiddlier than I want it to be.
Both my grown children wanted the same umbrella....And forty years on they still inspect what the other one has, just in case it's better. So I was happy to find a second one. Handy to leave in the car and ready when needed, with a look they both like.
A really good little umbrella. We've been using ours for shade near the equator and it does the job very well. Doesn't feel flimsy at all to me. Being compact, it's obviously not going to give you the same spread as a big umbrella. We're happy with it.
Needed something affordable but didn't want a boring looking umbrella. The shape of this one won me over :-D Quality seems perfectly decent - I've had it out in gusty weather and it held up fine. For what I paid, its doing everything I wanted it to do.
Great for rainy walks. The flexible ribs are a good idea. Living in a windy city I have certainly had chances to use it. You do notice a little movement through the frame when a gust catches it, but it has kept its shape and kept me dry. Happy with it.
Handy umbrella for the commute. Rain starts, one press and I'm covered. The button closes the canopy too. I can slide it into the sleeve without a battle once it's folded up properly. The whole thing looks smart without being fussy. Really nice to use.
Excellent size for me and my six month old! Enough cover for us both without blocking our view out around the edge. We used it in the rain and stayed dry. It feels sturdy too. Pleased with the quality for what I paid and I would certainly buy it again.
Finally found the umbrella i wanted . . . had seen one in Houston but couldn't bring myself to pay that much. Looked everywhere for something more affordable . . . eventually came across this online and i could finally have the one i'd been wanting . .
Solid frame and a decent spread.The canopy closes by button, but shortening the shaft takes a fairly firm push, so not totally effortless.Not a major complaint.This cost more than I normally spend on umbrellas and it does seem well put together so far.
After seeing my mother in law's umbrella I wanted one of my own. There's enough cover for my wife and I if we keep close, but it folds away without needing loads of space. A much better balance than the really tiny umbrellas we used before. Very handy.
Only had it since yesterday. Feels solid and opens to a decent size. The bit I have to get used to is closing it. The button folds the canopy, then I push the shaft back in by hand. That needs a firmer push than I expected.I'll add more after using it.
My old umbrellas always left part of me wet, so I wanted decent coverage. This one opens wider than I expected from its folded size and keeps me dry walking the dog. I'd recommend it for anyone wanting an everyday umbrella without carrying a huge one.
It gives me the cover I need and looks good doing it. I love the shape when it's open and how well it shelters my head and shoulders. Held just above eye level, I can see beneath the front edge without having to tip the whole umbrella out of the rain.
Very lovely umbrella, gives a nice shade when the sunshine is strong. For carrying around it has a little more weight than I thought, and size is not quite as big as I imagined. But it folds for travel and these little things do not stop me liking it!
Pleased with it. Nothing has given me trouble so far (early days?). It looks smarter than I'd expected and there's more room underneath than I pictured. Folded up it's not tiny, so I'd check the space in your bag rather than assume it'll fit anywhere.
My three-year-old granddaughter was delighted when she got this. She manages the button easily; I help compress the stem afterwards. The beige is lovely. It seems nicely made. Last year's umbrella for my other granddaughter is still in good shape too.
Someone had one of these a few years back and I've wanted one ever since. Just makes me smile opening it! Rain has been scarce since mine arrived, so I can't really judge how it holds up yet. For now I'm enjoying having it and waiting for a wet day :)
we have rain most of the year in Juneau, so Halloween costumes need a bit of planning. I wanted a parasol look for my daughters costume without leaving her soaked. This umbrella does that nicely, pretty enough for the outfit and practical in the rain!
One of the nicest umbrella's we've had... Got it for my wife and she is really pleased! Easy enough to carry out to soccer games, and the canopy gives her good cover. The button opening and canopy closing are handy too, so she actually takes it along.
The seller was so helpful when the delivery got mixed up. They took the time to sort things out and made sure I got the umbrella I needed. Having it in hand, I think it was money well spent. Very Solid and it looks like something I can keep for years.
For my girlfriend's birthday I chose this (spotted it online and thought it looked really nice) and she loves it. feels solid, not just something that looks good in pictures. Almost wanted to keep it myself but i am pleased with how much she likes it.
