Over the years I've had plenty of folding umbrellas, and too many have been finished off by an ordinary gust. I wanted something portable without that flimsy feeling. This one is not the tiny sort that disappears into a little handbag. Folded up it is around 40cm long and you notice the weight more than with the very small ones, but that seems a reasonable trade for the sturdier build and useful amount of cover. it has coped well on breezy, rainy days so far. I can carry it in a larger bag, just wouldn't expect it to fit every purse or slim briefcase. If that extra bit of size doesn't bother you, it is well worth considering. I am hoping for a good long life out of it and intend to pack it for travel.

Having shade overhead makes it a much more pleasant break.
I'd been thinking about getting an umbrella specifically for my walks for a long time, and I'm glad I finally did. Strong sunshine has never been my favourite thing, especially when I'm out on my lunch break. My usual walk is about two and a half miles by the water, with hardly anywhere to get out of the sun. By the time I got back I'd be hot and sweaty, with my arms catching all the sun and those obvious sunglass lines on my face...not the look I was going for. Having shade overhead makes it a much more pleasant break. It feels solid in the hand and has coped well with breezes along the water. Although it folds down, it isn't so tiny that I never think twice about carrying it. I've ordered an even smaller umbrella as well, mostly for the convenience of having a choice. On days when the sunshine comes and goes I still have that little debate with myself about whether to bring this one. The coverage is lovely once it's open, though, so I'm generally glad when I do. I've also had it out in proper pouring rain and stayed nicely sheltered underneath. It has ended up being useful in both kinds of weather, rather than just for my sunny walks. I wouldn't want to be without it now!
Aaron Snyder
It works fine as it is, that's just my preference.
FANTASTIC umbrella - I wanted decent coverage without lugging around something enormous, and this gets the balance right! There's room for me AND my little dog if he stays close when we're out in the rain. Much nicer than having water running straight off the edge onto my legs. If I could change one detail it would be the size of the button; I'd prefer a slightly larger target for my thumb when I'm in a hurry. It works fine as it is, that's just my preference. The canopy closes quickly, then I press the sections down to pack it. Certainly not a reason to part with it - I'm keeping this one!

I walk a mile from my apartment to work and go past a golf…
I walk a mile from my apartment to work and go past a golf practice field, there is an open stretch where you really notice the wind and this umbrella has worked well for me, I get good coverage during that walk and the whole thing feels sturdy, for the money I don't feel I needed to spend more on something doing the same thing, I'm confident I chose well.
Crystal Lambert
Nice that he can hold it himself without his arm getting tired.
We chose this umbrella for our son and he's taken quite a liking to it. Rain isn't frequent where we live in Southern California, but now he wants a wet day to take it out. It looks smart, the button makes it straightforward to use and he hasn't complained about carrying it. Nice that he can hold it himself without his arm getting tired.
Rickey Clayton
The button action is great.
I kept buying those cheap little umbrellas and was tired of replacing them. Decided to spend more this time and I'm glad I did. The button action is great. Probably enjoy pressing it more than a grown person should. This one is still going nicely after the cheaper ones would usually have given up.Well worth paying extra for something I actually like using. Enough room for one person or two smaller people

Overall I'm very pleased with it.
Living in Seattle means getting rained on a fair amount of the year. Around here carrying an umbrella is almost admitting you aren't from here. Locals would rather get wet, and the umbrellas tend to give the visitors away. Trouble is, my walk to work is a mile each way and I like having a book open on the way. Keeping the pages readable wins over local pride, so an umbrella it is.
I've tended to buy the really small folding umbrellas, and get through several in a year. Handy little things until a gust leaves the frame bent out of shape. The Haven felt considerably more substantial when I first opened it. There is a reassuring amount of structure to it without it feeling cumbersome to carry. So far it has taken the breezes on my walk well, and I've had much better luck keeping the rain off my book. The flexible ribs seem less prone to getting permanently bent than the thin frames I've been accustomed to.
There are some useful touches beyond that. The button opens it quickly and folds the canopy back down, then I push the shaft in and wrap it up. Nothing particularly fiddly about getting it put away. Its bigger across than my little folding umbrellas, but doesn't feel like I'm carrying a whole shelter down the pavement. Holding it in one hand still leaves the other free for reading, which is pretty much the point for me.
The reservation is the folded length. At around 40cm it takes up noticeably more room than the little umbrellas I used to buy, so tucking it into my backpack isn't nearly as convenient. It's roughly twice the length of some of those. I would prefer something shorter to pack, but the more substantial construction seems a reasonable exchange for that extra space. Overall I'm very pleased with it.

Nice looking umbrella and the frame seems solid.
Nice looking umbrella and the frame seems solid. For a petite woman like me it is heavier than I would prefer. One thing I found is that packing it right down takes some hand strength. (The canopy folds with the button, then you push the telescoping shaft down yourself)I can manage it but I would think about that if buying for someone older or with painful hands.
Carolyn Holden
He likes the flexible ribs on this one.
Here in Florida an umbrella gets plenty of use, and my husband is very particular about the frame. He likes the flexible ribs on this one. It opens out to give me a good area of shelter, without being a giant thing to carry around. I'm not relying on any umbrella for a tropical storm, but for our everyday rain I think this will be very useful.
Mitchell Bird
Opens out to a decent size.
Opens out to a decent size. Has felt steady on the breezier Chicago days I've tried it in. Had it a little over a month now and taken it out three times, just right for me. Now I need to remember to look at the forecast instead of leaving it home when rain is coming!
Kristy Fowler
Eight months in and I'm still impressed with this umbrella.
Eight months in and I'm still impressed with this umbrella. The automatic opening and canopy closing work reliably, and it has a reassuringly solid feel. A quick shake gets a surprising amount of water off before I go inside. Living somewhere tropical means it gets plenty of outings, though I don't stand outside in the worst storms. It dries well and still looks almost as fresh as when I first got it!

I looked through plenty of comments before settling on this one.
I looked through plenty of comments before settling on this one. My job has me walking between different campus buildings all day, so I wanted something I could recognize without sorting through everyone else's umbrellas. It also had to be quick when I'm hurrying to the next building. The bits I like:It goes in my purse without a struggle. The cream white is easy for me to pick out from the usual darker umbrellas. The canopy springs right out with a button press, rather than needing a tug to finish opening.I can collapse the canopy using the same hand that's holding it.The less wonderful bit: there isn't loads of coverage underneath. It isn't the smallest umbrella I've carried, but it is definitely a compact one. That was a choice I made because I have to carry it around throughout the day, not just leave it by a door. For my short walks between buildings it does what I need. Someone hoping to keep their legs dry on a long rainy walk would probably want something bigger.
Jane Mccarthy
This one has been a very good choice.
My previous umbrella had given me years of use, so I wanted something that felt equally dependable. This one has been a very good choice. It opens promptly and the construction gives me confidence that it will get plenty of use. I hadn't planned on having two umbrellas, but at this time of year I don't like to be without one. After using this I decided another would be useful. Now I have a spare ready rather than having to remember where I last left the only umbrella.
Dave Chung
Otherwise the size and sturdiness suit me well.
Good solid umbrella - there's enough coverage for me with my bag, which is what I wanted. It isn't one of those little ones that disappears into any pocket, but I expected some extra length for a decent canopy. Seems a fair trade. The loop handle is the one thing I'd change, my hand feels a little cramped holding it. Otherwise the size and sturdiness suit me well.
Isabella Kim
The size is the only thing I misjudged.
After a month I can only give an initial impression, as it hasn't faced any proper "gusts" with me yet. It looks good, seems carefully put together, and the frame feels reassuringly strong. Opening is brisk with a press of the button. The size is the only thing I misjudged. At 6'6" I could really use something wider to shelter my feet and lower legs, though this covers my upper body well. The stated open size is around 105cm; I should have paid more attention to that instead of assuming it would cover like a full-sized umbrella. For a compact, I'm very satisfied with it.
Kristin Valenzuela
I'd been slightly concerned about the oval handle being small.
I was aiming for a bit more room than my old automatic folding umbrella gave me, and this more or less gets there. In my head it was going to be larger, but roughly 105cm across is still an improvement on what I had. The beige is fairly neutral, which suits me fine. I never quite understand people treating an umbrella colour as a men's or women's thing--surely staying dry is the point? Anyway, nobody has stopped in the street to comment on my choice! The price seemed reasonable, so I didn't see much reason to make it complicated. I'd been slightly concerned about the oval handle being small. It is compact, but my hands are big and it has been comfortable enough to hold. The automatic canopy action works smoothly as well. Not an enormous umbrella, but a good compromise between useful cover and something I can pack away.
Brooke Baldwin
The pink is lovely and the umbrella feels solid and well finished.
The pink is lovely and the umbrella feels solid and well finished. It has a handy sleeve as well, so it's neat when put away. I'm giving it four stars because although the canopy opens and shuts with the button, my daughter finds pushing the shaft back down by hand quite hard and usually asks me to help. Worth bearing in mind if you're buying for a child and expecting every part to be automatic. Other than that, we're pleased with it.
Wanda Summers
It gives me enough room under it and the fabric feels good.
I love how this umbrella looks - the cream white makes a dull rainy day feel a little brighter. The black underneath is a nice contrast, and the simple colour goes with whatever I'm wearing. It gives me enough room under it and the fabric feels good. Could easily talk myself into getting another colour ...
Sheri Cisneros
My son is delighted with his umbrella.
My son is delighted with his umbrella. He works the opening button himself and keeps asking when we'll get more rain so he can take it outside again. Seems pretty sturdy, but I help with putting it away and don't leave it out for playing with, small children aren't gentle..
Sue Levy
They feel solid and cope with the rain and sun I use them in.
Several of these have passed through my hands over the years and i still rate them highly. Replacements have been for ones I've misplaced or had taken, not because they wore out. They feel solid and cope with the rain and sun I use them in. I keep two in the trunk most of the time. Good to have everyday things made properly.
Kathleen Olson
Overall, I'm pleased with it.
I needed to replace a folding umbrella I'd been using for years, and spent a fair amount of time looking at the alternatives before choosing this Haven one. My main question was how something reasonably compact when folded could give much coverage when opened. Having used it, I think it does that job quite well. Folded up it is about 40cm long, although compact doesn't mean particularly slim. There is still a fair bundle of fabric, even after taking some care to wrap it tightly. It includes a carry sleeve, which I put aside straight away as I can see myself losing it. The fabric wraps around the shaft neatly enough without my bothering with the sleeve. Opening has been straightforward. I loosen the folded canopy a little, then press the button and it opens without any fuss. Pressing it again brings the canopy in, rather than retracting the whole umbrella. That makes it much less awkward to get through a doorway or into the car before dealing with the rest. You then push the shaft back down by hand to reset it ready for next time. It does take a push, but I haven't found that difficult.Overall, I'm pleased with it. The folded bulk is worth bearing in mind, but the coverage is generous and the button opening and canopy closing are useful.
Faith Palmer
Good value as far as I'm concerned.
I wanted another like my old one for high school games (yes, I sit right at the top of the bleachers). The black looks good and some shade during baseball season is welcome. It's a bit longer folded than I'd pictured, so not quite something I can tuck anywhere. Still, the canopy gives me a useful amount of cover without being huge. Good value as far as I'm concerned. THANKS
Miguel Aguilar
I've used it since getting back to the states though and I love it.
Treated myself to this before going to london, then found it wouldnt fit my bag so it had to stay home. I've used it since getting back to the states though and I love it. Has a much more expensive look than the price would suggest. Friends are always surprised when I tell them how little it cost me. Still my favourite umbrella!
Rhonda Kirby
Mostly rain here lately, not much wind to try it in.
Mostly rain here lately, not much wind to try it in. ITs been fine for keeping me dry. Folded up it still takes a fair bit of space in my bag, though opened theres plenty of cover. Feels sturdy but will have to see how long it lasts. Overall good for the wet weather, strong wind I cant really comment on yet.
Brooke Yoder
Overall it is an OK umbrella.
I expected a fairly substantial everyday umbrella, and this has left me somewhere in the middle. The packaging was the first thing I questioned. There was padding, but not much at the ends, which seemed the places most likely to need it. It arrived in one piece and came out of the wrapping looking fine. Even so, the presentation did not give me the reassuring first impression I was expecting for the money.
My bigger reservation is the general finish. The end looks quite ordinary, rather than having that solid feeling you get from some older umbrellas. Comparing a compact model with those may not be entirely fair, but it is the comparison I keep making. The finish is serviceable, just not as substantial looking as I expected. I would have preferred more attention to these small details instead of quite so much emphasis on the overall design.
Next I looked at the places where the fabric meets the frame. They are unobtrusive enough, and the outer ends look tidy. The shaft also seems fairly light in construction, though the complete umbrella is not particularly light to carry. The oval loop handle is useful to grip, but takes more space than I had pictured when folded. Nothing is loose; it is more about the feel of it than an actual problem.
The canopy keeps the rain off, which is obviously the main point, and I have no complaint there. It does still need leaving open to dry afterwards. The automatic button is handy, although closing the canopy is not the same as shortening the whole umbrella, you still have to push the telescoping sections together yourself. That is manageable once you understand it.
The arrangement of the thirty flexible ribs looks neat and gives the canopy a pleasing shape. I like that part of the design, but all those ribs also make for a fairly substantial bundle, not something that disappears into a small bag. Overall it is an OK umbrella. It works, and there are convenient touches, but the finish and folded bulk leave me feeling it is less impressive than I had expected at this price.
Tricia Phelps
I like having this one in my tote.
I like having this one in my tote. It's a compact umbrella, so yes, it isn't enormous when open. But for carrying around all day in case of a shower, that suits me fine. The frame has a bit of give in breezy weather rather than feeling rigid. It's dealt with the wind I've met so far and is still in good shape.
Faith Bryant
A small convenience, but one I appreciate every rainy day.
We eventually decided it was worth spending a little more on a compact umbrella rather than forever replacing flimsy ones. I looked at a couple of options, and this was the one that felt convincing when I handled it. The frame seemed sturdier and it stayed neatly folded when put away, which matters more to me than a fancy description. We have two now and they get regular use in our rather breezy city--so far both have done very well. My favourite part is being able to keep the cover above me right up to a doorway and then close the canopy by pressing the button. No standing outside trying to gather wet fabric before I can get indoors. The stem gets pushed down afterwards. A small convenience, but one I appreciate every rainy day.
Kenneth Barker
Seems reasonably sturdy for normal use.
Open width is about 105cm; folded length around 40cm. Weight is roughly 390g, so compact doesn't mean something that disappears in a jacket pocket. The button opens it and also collapses the canopy. To get it back to its shortest length you have to push the telescoping shaft in yourself. That is a separate step, not the button doing absolutely everything. Comes with a sleeve, which fits best if you take a moment to arrange the fabric rather than just stuff it in. The handle is a closed oval loop, not the usual hooked end. Comfortable enough to hold, though I wouldn't choose it just for that detail. Thirty ribs is quite a crowd under there; the kid in me approves. They have some flex rather than feeling like rigid rods. Seems reasonably sturdy for normal use. No intention of seeing whether it survives a gale. I got beige and the black underside gives it a fairly plain appearance underneath. Overall useful, and the mechanism is convenient. Four stars because the folded size and weight are a bit more noticeable in a bag than I wanted.

My 2 year old absolutely loves her umbrella!
My 2 year old absolutely loves her umbrella! She likes carrying it, although I do the opening and closing for her. The button makes that part straightforward, and I finish shortening it by hand. Having the sleeve is useful too, everything stays bundled together instead of spreading out when I put it away. Feels well made and I'd happily choose the same one again!
Alexis Hawkins
So far it's been a good choice for that.
Feels quite light to carry and gives a pleasant bit of shade when the sun is out. The stem looks slim, though it feels firmer in use than I first thought. I keep it in my bag for days when the forecast can't seem to decide between sunshine and rain. So far it's been a good choice for that.
Derrick Arnold

This is a sturdy umbrella and nice looking too, everything seems well put together.I find the button especially useful when I'm carrying packages , it saves struggling with the canopy while trying to get a car door open. One press folds the top so I can get seated, and I just press the pole down afterward. It's equally handy at a store entrance when I don't have a spare hand to wrestle with an umbrella.
Roger Mendez
Also worth noting: it comes with a carry sleeve.
It looks like one of the more carefully put together umbrellas I've owned. I'm hoping this means a long stretch of *not* having to replace another one with damaged ribs. The frame feels solid and the opening action is positive. Also worth noting: it comes with a carry sleeve. I had looked at the umbrella and a sleeve separately, so having somewhere to put it was a useful extra rather than another thing to sort out.
Spencer Blankenship
It feels reassuringly solid when the weather gets breezy.
Moving from somewhere with hardly any rain to a place where it seems wet most of the year made me appreciate a decent umbrella. This one has been out with me through plenty of showers and hasn't turned inside out on me! It feels reassuringly solid when the weather gets breezy. The coverage is generous for a folding umbrella, though you still have to be mindful of people on a busy pavement. Two of us can tuck in close for a quick shower, and it packs away much more neatly than I expected.
Javier Decker
The blue looks fantastic and is very stylish!
The blue looks fantastic and is very stylish! It is also handy for giving My pale skin a break from the sunshine. Makes a mid day walk so much nicer when I have some shade to take along with Me. Would recommend it whether you are sun sensitive or just prefer being shaded.
Regina Cervantes
Coverage is generous for one person.
One of the better folding umbrellas I've owned. I've had it out in rain and breezy weather in Toronto and haven't felt nervous about it coming apart. Seems solid for something that folds down. The price felt reasonable too, so I'm not constantly worrying about losing an expensive umbrella. A few notes-1. The button is convenient when there's only one hand free. Closing the canopy is automatic too, then you push the shaft down yourself.2. Coverage is generous for one person. Two could manage if they stayed close, but I wouldn't buy it expecting much room for a pair.3. The loop handle feels substantial, although for my larger hands it isn't always the most comfortable shape. That's a small thing, and certainly doesn't spoil what has otherwise been an excellent purchase.
Wanda Delacruz
i LOVE how cheerful the blue looks.
i LOVE how cheerful the blue looks. It stands out without any fuss and feels durable as well. I live in Phoenix and use public transportation, which means being outside in a lot of heat and sunshine. Having some shade of my own is a big help while I'm waiting. Really pleased with this purchase, it's something I use often and would buy again.
Roy Ball
After a little over a month of use I'm very pleased with it.
When my old umbrella finally gave up, I chose this one partly for the green and partly because the reviews were encouraging. After a little over a month of use I'm very pleased with it. The cover is wide enough to keep the rain off me properly, it feels sturdy, and the nicest surprise has been how easy it is to carry. Compared with the portable one I used before, this doesn't feel like such a nuisance in my bag. I've had a string of small umbrellas that folded the wrong way at the first gust (there is no shortage of wind here in TX). This one has handled the windy days I've used it on very well. The button is convenient, although after it draws the canopy shut you do have to push the telescoping section down yourself. That last push is about the only thing I would change, but it isn't worth losing a star over. I'm happy with the balance of coverage and carrying size, which was what I wanted.
Bryan Blackwell
The sleeve is handy for putting it away after it has dried.
After too many flimsy umbrellas from the drugstore, I wanted something that felt a bit more substantial. So far this has been a dependable choice. There's decent coverage when I'm on my own, and two of us can squeeze underneath if necessary. The button opening is convenient and the canopy folds down with another press; you still shorten the stem yourself. I like the oval grip, which feels secure in my hand, and haven't noticed an unpleasant rubbery smell. The sleeve is handy for putting it away after it has dried. Mine stays near the door or in the car. It's compact compared with a full length umbrella, but still takes up enough room that I wouldn't put it in a tiny travel bag just in case.
Kenneth Ward
A practical present that she actually enjoys!
I chose this as my mother's Christmas gift (she teaches music and is outside for bus duty every week). If she has to stand there in the rain, why not have a decent umbrella?! She is delighted with it and tells me it has taken regular use without looking tired. Her previous umbrellas never seemed to last very long, so hearing how well this one is doing is especially nice. A practical present that she actually enjoys!
Sarah Hanson
I'm very pleased with them and would recommend.
I can't see any reason an umbrella needs to be for women or men. I got two for my daughter at Christmas and another for me, her dad. They pack down neatly and the button opens them without a fuss. Getting out of the car, I can push the door ajar, put the umbrella through and open it before I step out. The closing button brings the canopy in, then you push the telescoping shaft down by hand to finish packing it. So it doesn't do that last part for you. I've used mine several times without trouble, and my daughter hasn't reported any with hers. I'm very pleased with them and would recommend.
Kurt Garrett
This one has turned out to be a very nice choice.
Living in Florida with pale skin, I'm rather fond of finding my own patch of shade! Sunscreen is useful, of course, but it can be messy (and not terribly pleasant to keep putting on), so carrying an umbrella seemed worth a try. This one has turned out to be a very nice choice. The gray is quieter than the colors I usually go for, although I like how neat it looks with the black underside. The fabric has a nice feel, and the closed loop handle is comfortable to hold. I wasn't sure about that shape at first, but it hasn't been awkward in use. It seems quite sturdy, without being something I dread carrying around. The button action was a little unfamiliar on the first go, but it's simple now; once the canopy folds, I just press the stem down to put it away. The little sleeve is a nice touch, too, and getting it tucked away again hasn't been a wrestling match. Overall, I'm delighted with it. Taking an umbrella out for sunshine probably looks a bit whimsical, but I don't mind that at all! I've already had a couple of nice comments about it, which is always pleasant. I can easily see myself choosing another color from this range later on.

The folding umbrella I'd used for years needed replacing.
The folding umbrella I'd used for years needed replacing. I looked through quite a few possibilities before settling on this one, mostly wondering how much coverage I could get from something that packs down. Having used it, I'd say it does a good job of that. Folded length is about 40cm, which is manageable, although it is a thick bundle rather than a really slim one. Even with the fabric wrapped up closely, there is still some bulk. It includes a carry sleeve. I set that aside almost immediately, as I know I'd end up losing a separate cover anyway. Arranging the material neatly around the shaft helps keep everything together. Opening has been straightforward: unwrap it, give the folds a little shake to loosen them, then use the button. It opens up well. Pressing the button again brings the canopy together, which is useful when you're trying to get through a doorway or into the car without dealing with the whole open umbrella. You then push the extended shaft back in yourself, ready for the next time you open it. I haven't found that part hard to do.Overall, I'm pleased with it. The open canopy gives good cover and the button opening and closing are convenient. Just allow for the bulk when deciding where you'll carry it.
Audrey Dillon
A very good choice if that is the sort of umbrella you need.
Given to a friend, who was delighted to have the features she'd wanted: a button to open it, an oval loop handle she can keep hold of easily, and a decent canopy for herself and the work cases she carries. It feels extremely well made; better than I had expected, even though my expectations weren't low. A very good choice if that is the sort of umbrella you need.
Bridget Dyer
This isn't the heaviest duty umbrella I've owned
Buying an umbrella online is always a bit of a gamble for me, because pictures don't tell you how the frame or handle will feel. I've had another folding umbrella before this and wanted something just as dependable without paying for lots of extras. The gray on this one is plain and sensible, and it opens wide enough for an adult to use comfortably. It goes into my messenger bag when folded, which was important. The automatic action is good: press to open, press again to gather the canopy, then manually compress the stem. No mystery to it once you've done it. A vent at the top would have been nice, but it has been perfectly adequate in the rainy weather I've used it in.This isn't the heaviest duty umbrella I've owned; that one had bulkier fittings and was less convenient to carry. For a straightforward everyday umbrella, this gives me the balance of size, construction and price I was after.

Walking to work meant my old umbrella wasn't doing enough.
Walking to work meant my old umbrella wasn't doing enough. A quick dash was alright, but any longer and my shoulders and backpack were getting wet. This one gives me better coverage without being awkward to carry all the way in. I can keep my bag tucked under it with me, which was the main thing I wanted. Only had one windy outing with it so far, with the breeze coming from different directions, and it coped well. Happy with the change.
Terry Reyes
Picked it for the shape of the canopy.
Picked it for the shape of the canopy. It's going above a carousel themed sweet table at a reception. The beige fabric is pretty and I painted alternate panels with a metallic finish. The paint went on nicely and gave it that circus tent look. A lovely option for a decorative parasol or craft project.

Not uncomfortable just different.
The look of it appealed to me and it works well, but there are a few things I hadn't thought about. The oval loop handle is not what my hand expects, after always having those curved handles. Not uncomfortable just different. Closing was another thing...the button brings the canopy in but you still have to press the shaft back down yourself ( i thought the whole lot would disappear with the button). Once I worked that out it made much more sense. Getting the fabric wrapped neatly round the shaft is the fiddly part for me, especially if I'm rushing. I usually give it a minute rather than trying to squash all the folds together. All in all i am glad I got it, opens quickly and there's a decent amount of cover. Just don't expect a tiny little umbrella or every part of putting it away to happen automatically
Vicki House
Feels properly made, not flimsy atall in our use.
We use this for shade near the equator and it has been excellent for that. Feels properly made, not flimsy atall in our use. It folds away conveniently, but it is still a compact umbrella, so I wouldn't judge its coverage against one of the big non folding ones.
Selena Hoover
On the positive side it packs away neatly and is easy to store.
This works as a spare for occasional rain, although I've not had it long enough to say much about durability or windy days. The cover feels limited to me and I'd prefer a longer shaft. On the positive side it packs away neatly and is easy to store. A reasonable backup rather than my everyday choice.
Veronica Doyle
Gives me nice coverage without feeling enormous.
My first automatic umbrella and I'm really taken with it! Gives me nice coverage without feeling enormous. I'm fairly gentle with it since the moving metal bits look a little delicate, but it's been absolutely fine with no problems. I've had some nice comments on it too, which always makes me smile. Such a cute umbrella!
