Fits in my larger handbag when folded, but opens out with plenty of cover for one person. The fabric is neatly finished and the flexible ribs feel reassuringly firm in use. A sensible everyday umbrella that seems worth the price.
If only I could remember to take mine home! These served me well when I was living in Chicago, and I'm still happy with them since moving away. Nothing to grumble about; when I leave another behind I'll be getting the same again.
Not something I would call a toy! Our four year old granddaughter loves having a proper umbrella. It gives her lots of room underneath, though we help her with the button and putting it away. A little big for her to manage alone.
My little girl love's having her own umbrella and thinks this one is great! I work the button for her, she's only three. The oval handle gives her something to hold onto and she likes the shape when it's up. Such a nice umbrella!
I keep these in the cars and have a couple by the front door as well. They feel solid and have been reliable so far. Can't say I've put them through much windy weather yet, but for the rain we get they have been perfectly useful.
Arrived as expected, very happy with the purchase, canopy opens and closes with the button, beige is true to the picture, all in excellent condition, nothing wrong, a good generous size also. Thank you, I recommend this umbrella.
People keep telling me how nice this umbrella looks! also it's handled the windy showers here without flipping on me yet! Living somewhere stormy makes that a BIG deal. Very happy to get home with my hair still looking like hair!
Came quickly. Looks like the description and the ribs have a nice flex to them. The loop handle is slightly snug for my hand, but I really appreciate the push-button action. Now i need some actual rain to see how it feels in use.
Umbrellas usually annoy me, but I thought a sturdier one might change that. We've had rain almost daily for a month so this has had plenty of outings. Works properly and gives enough coverage that I'm not arriving soaked anymore.
Better material than I was expecting, honestly. I'd buy another, easy 10/10. Friends, have a look at the details before choosing, especially the folded size. Nice cover for me and another person standing close. A really good buy.
My daughter got this as a Christmas gift. It looks as nice as the photo and seems fairly sturdy. The size is good for one person, though not something I'd choose for sharing (one of you would probably end up with a wet shoulder).
Love, love this umbrella. Took me ages to find one I actually wanted. Called it my birthday present from me to me, lol, and honestly I picked well! Oh...it has coped nicely with windy rain too, not just looked good sitting there.
Feels nice and sturdy and looks Cute! The sleeve is handy to put it away, much nicer then leaving it loose in my bag. The gray is simple and pretty. Haven't had a proper heavy rain to try it in yet but so far I'm pleased with it.
Chose this as a Christmas gift for my future daughter in law, hoping she will be pleased, it came when expected and looks just like the picture, a really nice looking umbrella, would recommed for a gift that's slightly different.
I absolutely LOVE it. Wanted enough cover for two and we can share it comfortably standing close. Feels very solid. Pressing the button takes some effort, but I'm hoping it eases with use. I'd happily tell others to buy this one.
...so we've ordered another....that probably says enough. (One thing though...the spring has some strength to it, and after the top shuts you still have to press the pole down yourself. Worth knowing if your hands aren't strong.)
Seeing my daughter open this gift was lovely, she was so excited about it. The pink is a little more muted than I thought from the pictures, so appearance wise that was my only reservation! She still loves it and I'd buy it again
Really pleased with this purchase. The umbrella feels very well made. My husband says it's just the sort he was looking for. Gave it to him as a birthday surprise , something useful that he actually loves. That's a good result...
Had this about a month. A sturdy umbrella and a smart looking one too. It's been fine on windy walks out to lunch, without feeling awkward to hold. This is the sort of design I've wanted for ages. Hoping it gives me years of use.
Matches the pictures well... Opens as it should. The ribs feel solid. Getting it back into the sleeve needs careful folding though. So, I suspect the sleeve will spend most of its time in a drawer. Happy with the umbrella itself.
I can say its a good umbrella ,stayed steady in the breeze...u know how annoying the inside out thing is.looks nice too..if you like green ,BUT price matters.,paying for a name isn't my thing but on a deal this is worth it trust.
easy button for opening / closing the canopy, my toddler can do that part herself. I push the shaft back down for her. She enjoys carrying her own umbrella and getting that little bit of independance in the rain. A good purchase.
Getting into the car used to mean wrestling an umbrella shut and getting wet anyway. This one lets me collapse the canopy with the button, then push the stem down by hand.Green is my favourite colour too, so I couldn't be happier!
this went down so well at Christmas! My boy (4) kept standing under it singing rain songs all through the holidays. Useful as well as fun, and cheaper than some plain umbrellas I'd seen. Happy with this spur of the moment buy! :)
The canopy opens and folds in quickly with the button, but I still push the telescoping shaft together myself. It gives good coverage when the rain is slanting and I need to hold it tilted. The whole thing feels well put together.
Got this for my wife, who teaches kindergarten and helps the children on and off their bus whatever the weather. It gives her decent cover while she does that, and isn't awkward to carry.Excellent quality. Glad I spent the money.
Two outings so far, both in sunshine with some wind. Gave welcome shade in the Arizona heat and stayed nicely in shape. Roomier than expected. I'd purchase another--though hopefully this one won't need replacing for a good while.
Rain stays off me, so it does what an umbrella should. The price isn't the lowest or the highest. My gripe is with the handle; that oval loop looks a little odd to me. The pink is fine. If all you need is an umbrella, it will do.
Umbrellas match the pictures nicely. Opened up, they give more cover than I expected. They're for our April wedding in case of rain, and should look lovely in the photos. They arrived well packed with everything neatly protected.
Dad was really pleased with his Christmas umbrella. He'd wanted something that felt like a "proper" umbrella, and he liked the pink, the weight and the oval handle on this. Said it was straightforward to open with the button too.
So pretty! My daughter couldn't be more pleased! It looks much nicer in person than I expected from the photos. Really sweet looking. She's been opening it indoors!! Now she wants a rainy day so everyone can see her new umbrella!
Golf is much better when I'm not getting soaked! Having this tucked away means I'm ready if it rains, and I like the simple look. Hopefully it won't be needed on the course too often, but I'm happy to carry it along just in case!
Sturdy enough for my daily walk to the office. The car is about ten minutes away, so I rely on an umbrella when it rains. I've misplaced two already, one at a restaurant and one at the grocery store. Keep coming back to this one.
For the first week our three year old wanted this along everywhere, even though there wasn't any rain. She was just so taken with it. It feels a good buy, and hopefully her baby brother will get his turn with it when he's bigger.
Feels reassuringly strong, a touch heavier than the really basic umbrellas but there is more to the frame on this one. seems like it should last so i’m fine with that. the loop handle is useful too, i can clip it onto a bag strap
I've had folding umbrellas like this before and find this one manageable, even when it's windy. It takes a little more pushing to shorten the shaft after closing than my old one did, but at 72 yrs I still find it a good umbrella.
My daughter needed an umbrella while studying in England, and her school friends said having a decent one was essential. She has been glad of this on wet, windy days. Feels well made. Money well spent for the comfort. No regrets.
Ordered one for myself and another for my great granddaughter, she is nearly 5.She loves having her own umbrella. It feels sturdy and has been handy for the rainy school mornings. Very happy that she likes it as much as she does.
A press opens it and the next folds the canopy, working fine so far. My girlfriend loves the gray colour 🤩 . Just remember to press the button to fold the top first. After that, shorten the shaft by hand before putting it away.
Just the sort of sturdy umbrella I was after, it hasn't blown inside out on me. I overlooked the folded length though. It won't go in my little handbag, so I end up carrying it separately rather than always having it tucked away.
Despite folding down fairly small, it isn't one of those umbrellas that feels useless the moment a breeze comes along. It gives decent cover in rain without that silly feeling that you might be taking off instead of walking home.
Love the construction. The automatic opening is handy, but the solid feel is what sold me on it. Even the oval handle seems thought out rather than an afterthought. Folds down neatly without feeling like a flimsy little umbrella.
My previous umbrellas were the cheap folding ones from the local pharmacy. This one feels like a step up, coping better with wind and seeming more solid. I can't judge its lifespan yet, but at this point I'm very pleased with it.
I wanted something to tuck into my small shoulder bag for unexpected rain, and this fits nicely. There's a black underside and the whole umbrella has a tidy finish. I've also found it handy for making a little shade when I'm out.
A solid umbrella with quick automatic opening and a chunky oval handle. the canopy closes with the button, then I shorten the pole manually. open it's about 105 centimetres across, a useful size without being too much to carry 👍
worth paying a bit more for these. only my second umbrella in years - think I left the last one somewhere. Must admit this hasn't been out in any huge storms. love it for the everyday rain though and the gray is a very nice color
It cheers me up just getting this umbrella out. People say nice things about it so often. Living in the rainy NW means it doesn't get much rest, but it's been a sturdy one and kept me dry through all the rain we've been getting.
I like this umbrella alot! & glad I picked it up. I use it between classes, and it keeps me dry, but my bookbag still catches some rain unless I hold it further back. not quite the coverage I hoped for, otherwise its been great!
Rather pricey for an umbrella, but it is a lovely looking thing. It packs down well (though I've had smaller folding ones) and is a little heavy. The neat shape and finish make up for that: it looks really smart when opened out.
