My sister has been taking this umbrella everywhere since I gave it to her! Soccer, camping, days at the beach. It gives her a nice bit of shade for lunch, and two people can squeeze together underneath when a shower comes through.
Bought this roughly a month back. It opens out nice and wide, but feels quite light for its size. Yesterday was my first time using it in windy rain and it did really well. For what it costs, I think this umbrella is hard to beat!
This folds down neatly enough to stay in my bag, so I don't have to hold it all day or leave it behind somewhere. For a folding umbrella it feels reassuringly solid...it has handled blustery rain for me without turning inside out.
Bought it for my boyfriend last year. We get some gusty weather living by the canal and it has coped well so far. Looks smart as well as being useful, and has worn nicely.I'd certainly suggest it to anyone looking for an umbrella.
The build and operation both seem to match the description. I am leaving it at four stars until I've actually used it in wet weather. It feels promising, but I'm still waiting to find out how steady it is when the breeze picks up.
Arrived quickly. Matches the description, and the ribs have some flex in them. A bit snug for my hand in the handle, but I like the loop and the button for opening and folding the canopy. Just waiting for rain now to give it a go.
The oval loop handle gives it a different look, but the solid frame and push-button opening are what I appreciate most. Haven feels properly put together to me, and I'd rather have that than something flimsy just to save a little.
If only I could stop leaving these everywhere! Mine saw plenty of use when I lived in Chicago, and I'm still happy using one now I've moved away. Reliable umbrellas. When I inevitably forget this somewhere, I'll be buying another.

Opening it is effortless and the canopy closes with another press. The ribs have a reassuring amount of flex. The oval handle isn't shaped exactly for my hand, but it's still comfortable and nicer to use than my previous umbrella.
Delivery to Canada was pleasingly quick (always nice!). I mainly wanted an umbrella for shade, and this feels quite sturdy. It also kept me dry when a sudden downpour arrived, which was a welcome bonus. Pleased with this purchase.
We had quite a mix of weather at Yellowstone last week, including rain, gusts and snow (yes, already in September). This handled the rain nicely and still feels sound. My friends noticed how well it did too. Happy to recommend it.

A smart finishing touch! If you like your golf kit to look the part, this is a nice extra to carry! I've got the rest of my gear sorted just how I want it. Now the umbrella too! A small addition that makes me ridiculously pleased!

Where I live the sun is relentless, which is why I ordered an umbrella for shade. It shades me well, although it feels heavier in my hand than I was expecting. Happy with it for sunny walks. I haven't tried it in rain or wind yet.
Honestly, at this price I expected something fairly basic. But, the fabric feels substantial and the sleeve keeps it tidy. Best umbrella I've had in a while. Fits nicely in my car, which is where I tend to leave everything anyway.

Living in south Florida there is rain a lot. i looked through quite a few umbrellas. wanted something for the rain , wind, and with a simple look . this one works well.. a little bulky folded but thats okay.. i would recommend it.
The flexible frame has been steady for me in ordinary wind and rain. Folded up, it's a tidy bundle rather than a long awkward thing to carry. That makes it useful for my rainy walks in Oregon as well. Very happy with the purchase.
The children are delighted with it. It opens wider than I had imagined, in a good way. I planned on holding it for shade beside their little picnic table, but they've already found plenty of make believe adventures for it as well.

Ten months of using this and it's still looking good. It's put up with some windy weather better than my previous umbrellas. Seams are holding and the button works smoothly. Only complaint is the rain insists on landing on it. ;-)
Another one for a family member, as I liked the first so much. It doesn't feel as heavy to carry as my older umbrella, yet the frame seems sturdy enough. Everything worked straight away, no questions needed. Happy to recommend it.
We had several of these ready in case our outdoor spring wedding turned wet. They looked suitably elegant and were reassuring to have nearby. Luckily they stayed folded, and have since become much appreciated presents for friends!
There wasn't any rain when it was opened, so she put it to work shading her breakfast instead! The three year old recipient was delighted, which was lovely to see. Too early to say how it will wear, and she needs help managing it.
Good sturdy feel, generous cover, decent value. The opening action is useful. Still a fairly long bundle when folded, so getting it into my bag takes some arranging. works well for me, and I can keep it in the car when not needed.

Looks far more expensive than it was, with a really elegant shape. I had it in my wedding photographs and it looked beautiful and held up nicely. Worth considering an umbrella for bridal pictures, this one worked so well for mine!
Our 8th grade Washington trip was WET, but at least my head and shoulders weren't! Plenty of room underneath, and it handled the windy stretches well too. Still managed to look pretty stylish :) Definitely glad I had this with me.
Got one for my 5 year old niece's birthday and she was delighted. She liked how it looks & wanted to try it straight away. It's bigger than a small children's umbrella, so I help her manage it, but she really likes having her own.

Shade is scarce at the games my grandchildren play, so I started taking this umbrella along. Holding it over my seat keeps the direct sun off me and makes watching a lot more comfortable. Much easier to enjoy their games this way.
Arrived in good order and packed well. Just as discribed. Feels strong. Watch out for the carry sleeve when you unpack it, easy to leave that with the wrapping if you're not paying attention. Now to put it through an irish winter!

I dont really think umbrellas need a men's or women's label. This one suits me fine. It seems strong and the button close is handy. Covers me well without taking up much space folded, so it's useful to leave in the car or at work.
Really pleased with this umbrella. Nice oval handle, opens easily, and best part is the green means it's NOT so easy to confuse with someone else's at a restaurant (where my previous umbrella vanished! Plenty of cover in the rain!
Love the look of this umbrella. It's bigger folded than I had pictured. There was some packing dust to wipe away, which was a nuisance, but otherwise I'm delighted. It feels solid and works nicely. I'd be happy to choose it again.
I wasn't sure how well made this would be when I ordered, but at that price I thought it was worth a go. Once it arrived I was relieved, it feels like a proper sturdy umbrella. My son loves it! It was one of his Christmas presents
I'd already picked up a couple of these and needed another for an Easter gift. There's plenty of coverage when open, but a seven year old can still manage holding it, which makes it a useful gift rather than just something pretty.

No rain since I bought it, so I haven't tried it outside yet. It looks good though. The handle feels comfortable and the ribs seem decent. I think it is good for the money. If I leave it somewhere eventually, I won't be too upset.
I have to hold it a little higher to see ahead properly, since the canopy isn't see-through. It covers me well though. I'm reserving judgement on durability; the materials feel quite light, but nothing has given me trouble so far.
The umbrella arrived looking good and everything was in order. It turned up when expected. I had it as a prop for a halloween party and people liked it. Next it'll get used for actual rain.Good to have something useful afterwards.
well made and useful for a bit of beach shade. personally, i could do with a little more coverage, but that's on me, it's sold as a compact handheld umbrella. if i wanted to sit underneath all afternoon i would need a bigger sort.
I like it for walking, keeps my head and shoulders covered without being too awkward to carry. But your lower legs still get wet when the rain is blowing about. Other then that its just a normal umbrella, nothing all that special.
