Wasn't sure when I ordered but i used it as soon as I could!a sunny day with a breeze and it was good to have some shade, no problems holding it. Only wish it folded up a little smaller because my usual bag is tight for space, then it would be just right
Here in south Florida we get rain all the time. i spent awhile looking for an umbrella that looked fairly traditional but could manage our showers , some wind too. this one does the job.. a little bulky folded but i like it.. would tell others to try it.
Someone at work was telling me how good this umbrella was in wet and windy weather.So I ordered one to try, and they were right about it. It's stayed in shape when the wind picked up, and I haven't had to fuss with it while trying to get out of the rain.
Everyone at home liked this when we saw it. My little girl likes the cream white colour, and I appreciate the uncomplicated design. We'd spent a while looking for an umbrella to use with our three year old, and this seemed just right for our rainy walks.
Had this along on the East Coast and in Chicago and it handled the windy rain really well. My mother has it now and she's delighted with it, It's heavier than some little umbrellas but the solid feel makes that worthwhile. Was very happy using it myself.
Lovely pink shade to start with. What matters most, though, is that it does its job and seems built to last. After wasting money on four cheaper umbrellas, paying a little extra finally feels worthwhile. I expect to keep this one a good while. Well done!
LOVELY! People keep commenting on it. A simple look but still really pretty. it's feminine without being over the top. I love carrying it. My sister kept trying to claim it so I bought her one as well. Feels solid too, not just something nice to look at.
Opens out bigger than I'd guessed from the folded umbrella. It feels sturdy and has some weight to it. The oval handle looks quite smart. There is enough room for me without having to hunch underneath. We happy with it. Hope it lasts us a good long time.
Works very well as an umbrella and looks good too. After a couple of beers I had the stupid idea of using it to pole vault, which says more about me than the umbrella.Best kept for the rain, I think. A bit weighty, but a sensible buy for sensible people.
Everything arrived in good condition, thank you. The black is a little less deep than I expected, but not enough to bother me. There is black underneath as well and plenty of cover when opened. Still waiting for some rain to give it a proper try outside.
only had mine out 5 or 6 times and its been fine. I like the push botton, just rember after shutting the canopy to press the shaft down yourself before it'll open again, duh. Someone borrowed it once and said "thats a handy umbrella" and i have to agree.
Needed something for watching my sons football games with all the rain this season. This gives me enough cover without taking up a huge amount of room on the sidelines. I can keep it out of my own view and I'm not hiding the game from everyone behind me.
As a track and field official, I use this for shade and to shelter score sheets when it rains. It has been useful on damp, breezy days and the sheets stay drier. Managing papers with one hand is still a little awkward, but the umbrella itself works well.
Cream white against the black underside looks fantastic. The loop handle feels solid and is comfortable to hold. It comes with a sleeve for storage, too. Once it's open there's a nice broad canopy above me. Exactly the sort of cover I wanted in the rain!
Really impressed with this umbrella--went for it after being disappointed with my other ones in the wind--only had it out once yet, on a properly wet and blustery day-it kept the rain off me and I wasn't fighting to keep the frame in place the whole time
This went to my granddaughter as a gift. She'd loved her old umbrella for nearly five years so I ordered and sent her this green one. Loves it and says she gets lots of compliments when she uses it. That automatic canopy opening and closing is wonderful.
Really good quality for what it costs, and it tucks into my back-pack or beneath the car seat nicely. If pink is your colour, this one is a winner. I also keep a larger umbrella in the house, but this is the handy one to take along. Very pleased with it!

I replaced the one I lost with another of these, which tells you I liked it. It is fairly weighty though. If the closing mechanism accounts for some of that, I'd rather have less weight. It has handled my walks in Chicago well, including the breezy ones.
Ordered two of these pretty umbrellas, one to keep and one meant for a gift. I sitll haven't taken mine out because it looks too nice to get wet. The second one is still here too, now I'm thinking maybe I need one to save and another one to actually use.
This umbrella has been a good choice for me. Feels strong and like it should stay around a while. The sleeve it goes back in is little tight and getting it in is kinda fiddly but otherwise I like how it works. And hey its got a pretty cool look to it too
Rain in Chicago can come at you sideways. This umbrella has kept my husband and me covered without feeling as though it would fold inside out. It feels solid rather than flimsy, and for something I use this often, I think the quality justifies the price.
We picked this as a present for my son's second grade teacher. She liked the beige colour and how smoothly it popped open. A few other parents wanted to know where we'd found it. It looks nicely put together, and she was delighted. Happy to recommend it.
Better made than I had pictured! I wanted an umbrella to leave in the car, and the pink even goes with the interior. It feels more substantial than the ones I've had before. It won't be getting constant use, so I expect it to be around for quite a while.
Does what I needed it to. Mainly wanted room for two and we can both get under it if we stand close. The button shuts the canopy fine, pushing the shaft back down takes some effort but it's a small thing. Opening is very quick!Overall happy with this one
This is my second one, and weather wasn't the reason I needed to replace the first. It's coped nicely with the breezy weather here and feels dependable in my hand. No turning inside out on the walks I've used it for. I'd happily stick with this umbrella.
Finally, a folding umbrella with a decent amount of cover! I've admired handy umbrellas on my travels and wanted something similar at home. This is roomy enough for me and the things I'm carrying, without having to haul a full-sized golf umbrella around.
The boys got these at Christmas and LOVE having their own umbrellas. They haven't been out in much rain yet, so I can't say much about long term use. They've certainly been busy trying the buttons though. Nice presents, just waiting for more wet weather!
Love having a pink umbrella. We get so many wet days here that a bit of cheerful colour is welcome, rather than everything looking gloomy :) It's already been out in the rain plenty & kept me dry each time. Pretty and useful, which is just what I wanted!
Lovely umbrella. The quick opening is so useful when I'm already carrying things. I have very fair skin and wanted something to give me shade rather than having to avoid being outside so much. This is easy to bring along and should be just what I needed.
Only thing I'd say is hang onto it properly before you hit the button. You really gotta be ready for how quickly it pops open. Once you're expecting that it's fine, but I wouldn't be holding the handle with just a couple of fingers. Otherwise it's great.
Handy little umbrella. Tucked into our luggage and the stroller on our recent theme park trip without taking much room. Used it during light showers and for shade in the afternoon. Feels nicely put together. Quick to open and fold away. Looks pretty too.

I love mine enough that I'm thinking of getting a second for our beach parties. It goes along to the park too, handy having shade I can hold over me. I also bring it camping for those long hot afternoons when a little shade is welcome. Well worth trying!
Wasn't certain what I'd get from just looking online. But this is great! Opens quickly and the fabric seems strong. No rain test yet because there's still two feet of snow outside. My daughter is delighted with it as well. Nothing to complain about here.
It seems decently made. the button mechanism is something I still feel a little careful with and the fabric feels thin, though it should be fine for normal use.It is quick to get the canopy up or folded. and there is enough cover to keep the rain off me.
Three years on and it still works well, which says something. That I've managed to keep track of it is the real miracle! Pushing the shaft in needs a firm hand, but this feels worth looking after. For once I haven't abandoned an umbrella in a restaurant.
The fabric feels substantial and the whole umbrella seems well put together. The closed loop is handy for hanging it up too. One button opens it and also collapses the canopy, which was new to me. You push the shaft back yourself after that. Very pleased
Reliable and neat folded up - just what I wanted. The button shuts the canopy, though you still compress the stem yourself; full automatic shortening would be nice. That's only a wish, not a problem. Bought two more and found the same solid feel in both.
A robust umbrella with a reassuring feel. It has held up nicely in rain and the occasional gust. Fairly hefty to carry, although I appreciate the button closing the canopy before I push the pole down. An excellent purchase for wet weather. Very satisfied

Rain is just part of living in the Pacific Northwest! Mine stays in the car so it's there when I need it. Feels nicely made and doesn't look like a cheap umbrella, haven't had anything to complain about. Liked the first one enough that I bought a second.
Almost looking forward to a rainy day so I can take this out. So cute! and it gives proper cover, not one of those umbrellas that leaves your shoulders wet :) if you need a new umbrella and fancy something nice looking I'd definitely say give this a try!
First impressions are good. It looks dependable and I couldn't see anything wrong when checking it over. Rain and wind will be the real test, which I haven't had yet. I'll update after using it outside. Packaging could have been a little more protective.
The mechanism operates well and it looks neatly put together. My only reservation is the flexible feel of the ribs; I am used to something more rigid and would have preferred that. In use, though, it has been fine. Overall I am pleased with the umbrella!
A rainy day feels a little less dull when I take this out. The blue is lovely and the material has a good, substantial feel to it. A press of the button opens the canopy, and another closes it. I'd be quite happy to suggest this umbrella to someone else.
The neat shape of this umbrella really appeals to me. The button needs a fairly firm press, which isn't my favourite part, and I find myself handling it carefully. Still, it looked terrific as a prop in our recent stage production, and I'm happy with it.
Someone in the family misplaced my old umbrella after I'd kept it for years. This has been a good replacement. More cover than a tiny travel one, without the bulk of a golf umbrella. The flexible ribs feel reassuring when it's breezy. Would recommend it.
Before ordering I noticed comments about it being heavy, so I thought I had prepared for that. Having it in my hand it was still more heavy than I expected, but I started carrying it in my bag between uses and it has been comfortable to carry this way...
we get rain nearly all year here in Juneau, so a costume umbrella also had to be useful. My daughter needed something to carry with her Halloween outfit. It looks lovely with it and she can actually shelter under it too, not just carry it for decoration!
