For the money I thought this would feel much more substantial, it works for keeping rain off but I haven't felt that big difference from a basic umbrella, compact size is useful though if price matters to you I would think about whether it is worth the extra
Very happy with how solid this umbrella feels - now I almost want a rainy day to try it. I spend time waiting outside school for the kids, so having decent cover should be a help. Already thinking of getting one for my husband as well. Looks a good purchase.
Bought the beige umbrellas for my grandchildren and they went down very well. At eight they're getting past wanting characters on everything, so the plain look suited them. The umbrellas feel nicely made, and I'd be happy to buy them again if we needed more.
You don't buy an umbrella hoping to use it every day, but it should do its job when needed. This has done just that. There is PLENTY of cover once it's open, more than I expected from the folded size. It's a practical thing to have ready when the rain comes!
The pink looks fantastic against the black underside! The oval handle is nice and solid, easy for me to grip. The carry sleeve is handy for storing it afterwards. There's a surprising amount of canopy when it's open. Plenty of shelter for me under this one!
My mom wants lots of cover without carrying something long, so this made sense for her. the button works nicely and so far its doing well. Opens out bigger than you'd think from looking at it folded, and she can keep it in the storage space in her car door.
There is something rather timeless about this umbrella, which really appeals to me. It looks smart without being fussy. I do take care putting it away though; the folded canopy needs arranging neatly, and I wouldn't bury it in a bag underneath heavy things.
the handle is a closed loop, feels a bit hard in the hand. the canopy fabric seems dense, plenty of ribs underneath, the sleeve fits over it, quite weighty, the button opens and closes the canopy fine, overall happy, will know more after some rain and wind.
Too early to say how it will last, as I've only needed it twice, but both outings went well. The frame feels firm under the canopy rather than flimsy, which is reassuring when it's raining. Opens smoothly and has kept me dry so far. Happy with it up to now.
We have three of these and the kids do like using them. They're a bit heavier than I expected for carrying about, and folding them neatly is a not very quick job for us. Once open they keep the rain off and the size is nice. Undecided about getting another.
Umbrellas are my 3 year old's latest interest, so this was a little surprise for him. Now he asks to bring it to preschool whether there's a cloud or not! He enjoys the button and I help with putting it away. We have one very happy little umbrella owner ;-)
Living in Chicago means an umbrella gets a proper workout. This one kept my husband and me covered during a windy, rainy walk downtown. We stayed close together, but it held its shape nicely. For the quality and how solid it feels, I'm happy with the price.
My wife was after some shade while going round the golf course, and this does the job well. She can carry it comfortably as she walks. It gives her a decent patch of shade underneath and she says the sunny stretches of the course are much more pleasant now.

The build of this umbrella stands out from the usual ones. It feels much stronger BECAUSE of the way the ribs support the canopy. I was impressed with the construction. Slightly heavier than some "compact" umbrellas, but that seems to come with it's design.
Good cover. Sensible size. The frame has more flex than I expected, so I'd still be careful when it gets gusty. Fabric feels light and dries out fairly quickly. Taken it to two wet football games so far -- kept me dry, just wouldn't push it in wild weather.
I'm in college and my mother picked this umbrella for the weather where I'm at. It feels strong and put together properly, and I've stayed dry with it. I LOVE how it looks in person, the photo really doesn't show it off. Would happily have another. SO HAPPY
Used this for shade on my little boat today and it was easy to manage. Much more comfortable than having the sun straight on me. My husband liked it enough to say he wants one too! The canopy has a substantial feel, a bit like the sunshade I keep in my car.
These umbrella's are blue, which works nicely with my grandsons' school colours. They'll get plenty of use watching soccer and football. Down here in Louisiana the heat can be rough, so some shade is welcome, and we certainly get our share of wet games too.
I dont get much wind around here or anything, so it's only had normal rain to deal with. Seems put together well and the frame feels solid once opened. I cant tell you about storms, but i've used it in the rain and stayed dry, which is what I bought it for!
After losing my old umbrella (again!) I ended up hunting online. This one does everything I need and is much easier to keep with me. Tempted to put my name on it somehow, in the hope it'll find its way home when I inevitably leave it somewhere. A good find.
Expected to need it for rain at the weekend ballgame, but ended up using it for shade with my husband instead. LOVELY! We sat close and both got a break from the sun, without shutting out the breeze. Much nicer than sitting there with the sun beating on us!
A cheerful looking umbrella, makes a wet day feel a little less dreary! It has been sturdy in use and the canopy is roomy enough for me and a friend close together. I appreciate being able to shut the canopy with a press rather than gathering up wet fabric.
The folded size is handy, it didn't take much room when I travelled abroad. It worked well for me alone but there isn't much space for a second person. Moving my backpack round to the front helps keep it covered too, not perfect but less wet is better haha.
Lovely pink umbrella. The colour is pretty, but what matters most is that it gives me enough cover. I can hold it at a comfortable height and still see in front of me without getting my head wet. Opens easy and the canopy has a good spread. Would recommend.
We've had better luck with this one than the other umbrella's for our child. A 5 year old has been opening and shutting it over and over and it still feels solid. Everything is working nicely, and the sleeve is such a useful little idea for putting it away.
Two wet, blustery rounds of golf so far and these have done their job nicely. They feel well put together, certainly better than I expected for the price. Hopefully there's plenty of use left in them, but either way I reckon they've already been good value.
i ordered this for my husband. He likes that it goes in his backpack without any bother. The loop handle feels nice to hold and the umbrella seems strong. I'm thinking of getting a couple more as Christmas presents, it's something the men would actually use
Probably the nicest umbrella I've used. It feels solid when it's open, and in the gusts I've had so far it stayed the right way round. There is enough cover to keep me dry without feeling like I'm holding a giant pole. For everyday rain I'd choose it again.
Compact and reliable, which is what I wanted. I'd love the length to retract automatically too, but pressing the pole down myself is a small tradeoff. I've bought another two and they're equally nicely put together. A very good everyday umbrella in my view.
I really like how this umbrella looks when I'm using it. Handy for showing houses on rainy days, since I can stay covered while talking with clients outside. It needs a little angling so the edge doesn't block my view, but overall it has worked well for me.
Great umbrella, came early. It covers me and my bag without being enormous, and I can hold it above my eyeline AND leave a bit of space for people beside me. I live in NYC and the crowded sidewalks make big umbrellas annoying, so this is a good size for me.

At last, an umbrella that isn't a performance to put up! The button opens it straight away and folds the canopy when I'm done. A quick manual push finishes packing it down.No struggling with a bulky umbrella while the rain comes down. Exactly what I wanted!
The balance of weight and cover is what sold me on these. We take them to the ball games and arrange ourselves under a few rather than crowding under one. They've been useful when a game runs into extra innings, and don't feel awkward to hold for that long.
I've now bought two of these umbrellas. My son uses his in the city and thinks it's great. The frame has coped well with windy days instead of folding over on him. If you want something dependable for everyday rain, I'd certainly point you towards this one.

Wasn't sure what to expect after reading some gloomy reviews, but a year on mine is still doing fine! It has been used rather than just sitting in a cupboard, too. Nothing dramatic to report, which is exactly what I want from an umbrella. Cute little thing!
Looks great but I'm not going to use it for poking about. Tried moving a coffee cup lid on the ground with the end. Oops wrong tool for that. It belongs over my head. Would make a good decorative item as well, though mine is for rain. Happy keeping this one
Handles the windy New York streets nicely. So far mine has given me no trouble, while I've passed people wrestling with inside-out umbrellas and looking thoroughly fed up. I get to carry on walking and humming to myself instead... can't complain about that!
Got this for my little two year old and she is delighted with it. She likes having her own umbrella and wants to hold it every time we go out. I do the opening and closing for her, as it's a bit much for tiny hands. It's a plain design, but still very cute.

My daughter loves bringing this out for the walk to school when it rains. It's cute without being over the top, and useful too. She gets plenty of cover, but can still hold it up comfortably. Much easier to carry folded than the long umbrella she was using.
Such a pretty umbrella and it looks as pictured. Several months of regular use later, it's still looking good and working just as it did at the start. I'd happily recommend it. The compact size is lovely too, I pop it in my purse whenever rain seems likely.
Has been keeping me dry without any fuss. I was walking around alot for work, including when it rained, and this umbrella made that much easier. It's only been a couple of months so I can't speak for years of use, but everything is holding up nicely so far.

Raincoats are a battle with my four year old daughter, yet she'll happily carry this umbrella. Being allowed to press the button herself is the best part for her. I put it in the sleeve afterwards since she likes playing with it even when there's no rain...
Plenty of cover for me, comfortable firm grip, and it's done its job in the heavy Florida rain so far. One stays at work and I leave spares in the car because I hate getting caught without one. Definitely recommend. Opens WIDE for something I can fold away.
Finally an umbrella I'm happy to keep in my bag - sturdy, simple to put up, and decent shelter between classes. It's handled breezy walks across campus well. Folds small enough for my roomy purse too. My sister liked it so much I had to pick up one for her!
