At last, an umbrella that feels properly made. The last couple I tried weren't up to much, this one feels much more substantial and she stays dry underneath it. Opens quickly too & has handled everyday rainy walks without fuss!! Definitely one I'd recommend!
There's room for us both if we stand close, and it feels reassuringly solid. A button press has it ready straight away. Someone has already said how nice it looks, too. It's been steady in the breezy rain I've used it in so far. Couldn't ask much more of it.
The cream white is really pretty, the handle feels good, and i'm happy with what i paid. It is smaller than the big umbrellas i usually go for, being a big woman myself. But for a compact umbrella it covers me nicely, and i like having something smaller now.
So lovely! Very very pleased with them! I chose six for my bridesmaids and they look beautiful. Worth the money, ,they feel well made. Make sure you push the shaft right back down after closing the canopy before opening again. Looking forward to the wedding!
I was after an umbrella that looked nice without costing too much. The shape of this one caught my eye :-D It feels decent enough, too - I've used it in some fairly gusty weather and nothing got bent out of shape. Pretty pleased with how it's held up so far.
Picked this up for the local sporting events and haven't regretted it. It gives us decent cover when the rain starts, without being a nuisance to carry around afterwards. Most importantly I can keep watching the game instead of worrying about getting soaked!
Love having this umbrella for the kids. Feels durable and keeps the rain off properly. The handle is nice and solid, and any grubby marks wipe off with a damp cloth. They've been using rain gear since they were one and this has gone down really well. LOVE IT
Online reviews persuaded me to try this one. Manhattan can be windy and this has coped really well so far. I havent had any trouble with mine. Might still want something bigger for very heavy rain, but this is an umbrella I'd be happy to recommend to people.
Got this for my son's second grade teacher. She really liked the blue and how smoothly it opens with the button. A few other parents wanted to know where to find one. The colour looks lovely and the construction feels solid. Definitely happy to recommend it.
The umbrella has been a nice addition to our visits to the park. I take it along when my granddaughter goes to play, and hold it over me for shade while I sit. A few people have asked about it already. Feels sturdy in the hand and is straightforward to open.

A few months after getting my first one I bought two more to give away. We get plenty of gusty weather where I live, and it's been reassuringly steady on my rainy walks.I wanted something I could actually use rather than wrestle with, and this has done that.
NYC rain and gusts can make carrying an umbrella a nuisance. This one has felt reassuring in the weather I've used it in, without flipping over. I'd prefer a slightly shorter folded length for my bag, but that's a minor thing. Otherwise an excellent umbrella
A birthday present for my girlfriend (she's into japanese culture and spotted this online) and she absolutely loves it. it looks great and feels solid too. Almost wanted to keep it for myself, but i am very happy with how much she likes it. Money well spent.
Construction seems solid and it has stood up to being used most weeks for about five months. I'm expecting it to last a good while yet. My only reason for four stars is the opening button. It takes quite a firm push with my thumb, more than I'd ideally like.
It arrived yesterday. Looks solid. Quite roomy when open. My one concern is keeping my fingers clear as I close it. I press the button to fold the canopy, then push the stem in by hand, keeping clear of the joints.I'll add more once I've used it a few times.
Love the gray color, very stylish! It's also nice to have some shade over My face when the sun is strong. My skin is very fair so this helps Me enjoy a mid day walk without all that glare. I'd recommend it to anyone who prefers a little shelter from the sun.
Nearly everything about this umbrella suits me. It compares very well with an older walking umbrella that I still own and like. The compact design makes it convenient to bring along rather than leaving it behind. I would recommend it without any hesitation!!
Umbrellas are a big favorite with my four year old granddaughter. I was so pleased to find a nice sturdy one for her. She has it outside every day in Florida. Some days she wants shade over her head, other days she's eager to go out in the rain. Lovely gift.
Excellent value! My wife and I like to share rather than carry an umbrella each, and this gives us enough room if we stay close. We've both kept dry on short walks with it. The frame seems very solid too. Hoping to get a good few years out of this purchase .
For the price this is a nice umbrella. I'm not planning to test it in anything extreme, but for normal rain it's been great. Pressing the button to tuck the canopy in again is rather satisfying. Not something I needed, I suppose, but a feature I enjoy using.
Seems almost a shame to save it only for rain.... Mine gets used in dance studio photo shoots. Its clean shape works beautifully in the pictures and it feels solidly made, not just decorative. I like finding something useful that also makes such a good prop.
My husband is taking this on our next overseas trip. We both tried the button and found it very straightforward. Folded up, it slips into the pocket of his messenger bag nicely. A surprisingly solid umbrella for the money!!! I'd certainly say give it a try!!
Wanted a black umbrella that wouldn't be awkward to take everywhere, and this has been a great choice. Nicely finished, with a reassuring frame for something that folds up. The black looks just like the photo. Fair price and arrived in good shape. Delighted.
Works as it should. Solid construction. Looks smart as well as keeping us dry. There's a little weight to it, but I'd rather have that than something flimsy. We shared it standing close together in gusty New York rain and were well covered. I'd recommend it.
I've only had it out twice in fairly wet weather.Worked well, looked smart and didn't turn over when the breeze picked up. Plenty of shelter over my head and shoulders, and enough room to hold it over someone using a walker too.I would choose this one again.
Took it out in wet, blustery weather and it held up nicely. The rain was blowing in sideways so my trousers still got wet haha, there is only so much an umbrella can cover. I've had it a while now and reached for it plenty of times. It still feels well made.
My partner is over six feet tall and I'm only just over five, but we can share this if we stay close!! We used to end up shuffling along at odd angles,now I can walk beside him with the canopy held between us. Much nicer than one of us getting all the rain!!
It's good value and hardly takes any room, I used to need to find an umbrella abroad when rain came suddenly, but not now I have this... So small and light, I really like that... Looks as shown in the photo, though not really for someone with a bigger build.
'Full sized' made me expect a larger canopy; I would rather have had clear measurements to go by. It packs away very neatly and doesn't take up much space. Unfolded, though, it still feels small to me. A bit of wind-driven rain and the coverage isn't enough!
No rain since I got it, so this is just from trying it at home. Pushing the shaft back down takes more effort than I expected. The button folds the canopy quickly though, which should make the "outside and wet -> inside and dry" bit less awkward at the door.
Ordered two for Halloween and they've worked really well for us. Both open at a press of the button, then the shaft pushes down by hand after the canopy closes. They gave us decent cover while we were out together, so for what I paid I'm more than satisfied!
I've had other umbrellas from this range so knew what to expect. The handle feels very nice. Once open it is surprisingly roomy! It's not as small as folded makes it look, not a little thing. Coverage is good. Bit of a squeeze passing people on the sidewalk.

It's fine for me, comfortably covers one person. There was a bit of a new smell when I unpacked it, but that faded after leaving it open. I'd have preferred a paler inside with the blue outside, though the black underside is fine in use, so I'm not bothered.
For what it costs, I'm impressed with the quality. No fighting with a catch or pinching my fingers, just a button to open it. It isn't full of fancy extras, but a couple of fairly heavy thunderstorms haven't bothered it. That's what I need an umbrella to do.
It lives in the car until rain catches me out. Opening it is quick, and packing it away hasn't been a bother either. I wouldn't assume it's made for constant rough handling, but for occasional use it seems decent. Better made than I'd pictured at this price.
Opening this umbrella made a miserable rainy day feel much brighter! That blue against the grey sky is gorgeous and suddenly I didn't mind being out at all. Walked down the wet city pavement smiling instead of hurrying to escape it. Kept me dry too. LOVE IT!

These blue umbrellas were just right for my grandchildren. They are eight now and no longer want things covered in cartoon characters, so the plain colour suited them nicely. They seem very well made, and I'd happily choose them again when another is needed.
Arrived promptly. Pleasant gray shade. It gives good shade (I mainly wanted something for sunny days). Small enough folded to put in my backpack, and comfortable to carry. Just remember this is a compact umbrella rather than one of the really oversized ones.

I've used button-opening umbrellas for years and wanted the same convenience again. I tried several shops without finding the automatic open and canopy close type I wanted. This one fits the bill nicely, and it arrived in good time. Pleased to have found it.
I was expecting a roomier canopy; knowing the open size beforehand would have helped. It does fold down into a neat, compact bundle, which I like. Once up, though, the coverage feels rather small to me. With rain coming in at an angle, I'd expect to get wet!
Well made, with a reassuringly solid feel! The pink really stands out, I've had several people admire it. I've also given this umbrella to two people as presents and both were delighted with theirs. Very glad I got one for myself as well, highly recommended!
At last, a substantial umbrella--I'd had enough of the flimsy ones that couldn't cope with wind--only one outing for this so far, but it was a thoroughly wet and breezy day-it kept the rain off me and stayed in shape instead of turning into a wrestling match
Needed something in case of rain while photographing a friend's outdoor wedding, since I don't have weather covers for my SLR and flash. (Naturally, it stayed dry!) The umbrella feels well made for the money. I'm glad to have it ready and would recommend it.
Good value for an umbrella this size. The canopy fabric isn't especially thick, but I've used it in rain and a bit of sleet lately and it's done the job. I don't feel I've missed out by not spending more. Worth considering if you just want a useful umbrella.
I needed an umbrella to go with a Chinese costume, and this looks right and opens nicely. There was an odd new-material smell at first. I've left it open to air for a while, which seems to be helping. Still using it for the costume, and I'm glad I bought it.
