The quality was much better than I expected. Looks every bit as beautiful as the photo. It IS weighty, but that comes across as strong and well built, something that should last. I feel it was money well spent.
Lost two umbrellas in under a day somehow. Argh! Had a look online and picked this one to replace them. It came a couple days later, just as the rain started. Kept me dry the whole walk. Big thumbs up from me!!
The umbrella has excellent quality, automatic opening, quite wide when open, packaging also very good. Won it in a game for ten cents, very satisfied with what I received. Everything looks well made, thank you!
Good coverage when it's up, yet it packs down to a manageable size. Just give yourself room before pressing the opening button, it comes out quite sharply. Hold it firmly and keep it clear of anyone beside you.
Came on time, securely packed. Button opens the canopy and gathers it closed again. Good coverage for one person in the rain. Pretty pink. Smart. Stylish. Pleasing to look at. Fits nicely with everyday clothes.
Comfortable loop handle, decent coverage, blue shade as pictured. Quite a substantial feel for something compact. Would prefer it slightly lighter, but it has handled breezy rain well enough. Worth considering.
These are excellent umbrellas. Being able to use a button for opening and gathering the canopy is really handy. The flexible frame feels sturdy, and there's room to squeeze somebody else underneath when needed.
Everyone in our family is a fan of these!!! I've given them as presents to relatives young and old, and they've gone down really well. My one difficulty is keeping hold of mine once someone asks to "borrow" it!
My six year old nephew and three year old niece now each have an umbrella, with beige for my niece. They've been testing them around the house waiting for spring. Turned up on time. Both children are delighted.

Two kids here. I needed to replace the umbrella my son used when he was two, and wanted something he could still manage himself. He is four now and can hold this one comfortably. The size is just right for him.
Our 3 year old spent most of the week taking this around with her, even with no rain in sight. She was just that pleased with it. Worth what we paid, and our baby boy can have his turn with it when he's bigger.
Haven't tried it in rain yet, bought it for Europe... needed something light and compact enough to take along but still feeling sturdy. The push button is a nice extra, and the amount of cover looks quiet good!
Bought as a present for my Mother She likes it, a good sizeand fits away neatly. The button closes the canopy but pushing the pole down takes a bit more effort. Still a nice gift and I'd have one myself. Thanks
Stays in the car for wet days. Quality feels very good, It seemed fair value and the finish looks decent (former retailer here). Handy button and comfortable loop, a lot packed into a straightforward umbrella .
Easy to hold in one hand and slips into my bag neatly. I had doubts about whether it would feel flimsy, but it feels solid. Likely to be my summer umbrella, very comfortable to take along. Would recommend it.

Well put together folding umbrella with a smooth opening action. It arrived in good shape and looks neatly finished. The reason for four stars is simply the weight; I'd prefer something lighter to carry around.

Saw an umbrella during a soccer match on TV & wanted one for my grandchildren's games. Really glad I got this..gives me a nice patch of shade & isn't a nuisance to carry. Could have used one of these years ago.
A very solid umbrella! Comfortable handle, roomy canopy and smart looking too. It folds down, though not into the smallest package if that's what you're after. We're delighted with the quality and how it works!
Good feeling umbrella. Beige on the outside with a black underside. The oval clip handle is useful for fastening it to my bag, and I can open the canopy with one hand by pressing the button. Nicely thought out.
My last umbrella was stolen, so I went looking for a black replacement with something a little different about it. The oval loop caught my eye. A bit unusual looking which I like. It was here pretty quickly too
Worth buying, i've been back and forth to NYC for months and it's been so useful. Fits in my bag (CHECK), feels tough (CHECK), covers me properly (CHECK). All the things I was after, without spending a fortune.

Lovely blue--people have commented on it already. Button works smoothly--no trouble opening or closing the canopy. A really cheerful looking umbrella. Who says something you use in wet weather has to look dull?
Our daughters in Chicago needed decent umbrellas after getting through several others. We chose these as presents and they have been a big success. They LOVE them and tell us they're taking them out regularly!!
The fabric feels pleasant, there's a bit of weight to it and the frame seems sturdy. Haven't had a proper rainy day to try it yet. Opened out it's quite broad rather than deeply domed, a useful amount of cover.

Handy little umbrella for getting to work when it's wet. Doesn't take over my bag and I find the button easy to use. Can't speak for really wild weather, but it's kept the everyday rain off me without any fuss.
After years with my old umbrella I changed to this. A little more space in the handle would be welcome for larger hands. Covers me and quite a bit of my dog when we're out. Otherwise feels well made and sturdy.
Feels well made. A little longer folded than I expected, but still manageable. Funny thing is, the extra size suits me better when it's open! Nothing fancy, just a good umbrella that does what u'd want it to do
Bought this umbrella for my little girl and she is delighted with it. Any hint of rain and she wants it out. It still looks good after being used, and feels sturdy enough that I don't expect to replace it soon!
Excellent! Just the size I wanted. We haven't had much chance to try it outside yet, but it feels solidly made. The pink against the black underside looks really nice. Slides into its sleeve without a struggle.
Looks great and feels nicely made. I enjoy sitting on the studio porch with it held over me for a little shade between jobs. Planning to take it to outdoor art sales too...has a bit of that summer holiday mood!

Probably my favorite of the umbrellas I've had. Living and working in a windy city, I've tried plenty. This feels sturdy without being a burden to carry, and the loop handle is surprisingly comfortable to hold.
The button opens and shuts the canopy in no time! My previous umbrella had only six ribs; this one has 30 and feels much more solid. I picked green, though the shade looks rather muted and grey-green in person.
It copes well with nyc rain coming at you sideways. Keeps my shoulders dry and, most importantly, has stayed the right way out. Takes up more room in my bag than some compact ones, but I'm still glad I have it.
Good strong umbrella it gives me proper cover in the rain instead of leaving me wishing I'd bought something better. The cheap ones I've had before never felt this solid. I'm planning to order another one soon.
GOOD value and a very usable umbrella. There was a noticeable new-material smell around the handle at first, which I wasn't keen on. After leaving it out to air, that's faded quite a lot. I'd still buy another.
Love taking this along, just wish the folded length was a bit less for my suitcase.Otherwise it was lovely for wandering around overseas in the rain, taking in the buildings and lights without getting soaked :)
Arrived in good condition. The umbrella matches the description, with nothing to complain about. It reached me in japan quite quickly after i ordered. Everything was packed properly and works as expected.
A nice looking umbrella that my eight year old boy finds comfortable to hold. A press of the button brings the canopy down, though I help push it back to its short length. Makes rainy walks a bit more cheerful.
For the amount paid, the umbrella is excellent. It looks made with decent materials and assembled well. The 30 ribs are flexible, with good support across the canopy, and it gives an impression of being sturdy.
Working fine so far, seems sturdy and the ribs have flexed in the wind without any damage I can see. Fairly weighty, but I expected that. The loop handle feels comfortable and the button is easy enough to reach
I like the look of this and it keeps rain off my hair (mine is long and frizzes at any excuse, so that matters). It is a bit bulky for the bag i carry daily, but leaving it in the car makes it handy when needed
