A robust feeling umbrella which should do well when it's windy. Has a little weight, which I expected from the build. The oval loop is fine to grip but I can't put my wrist through it, so that hand still has to hold it.
My boyfriend needed a decent umbrella for golf, so this was his present. He likes it a lot and took it along to Scotland. It coped with the rain and gusts there, while some of the others were having trouble with theirs.
Left my first one on the bus and missed it enough to order the same again straight away. A smart looking umbrella with a nice sturdy feel (has coped well with Seattle's breezes). Definitely one I was happy to buy twice.
Love having this with me! It seems solid, although I haven't put it through any really strong winds. There's enough cover for my commute and rainy walks with the dog, and it still packs away into the bag I take to work.
A fairly sturdy umbrella. My one niggle is the push needed to shorten it after the button has shut the canopy. Took a couple of goes to get used to that part, but it's been straightforward since. Otherwise works nicely.
Feels well made and looks nice on the studio porch. Useful shade when I'm sitting outdoors taking a break from work, and easy enough to hold. I'm planning to carry it at outdoor art sales too...a little holiday feeling!
We'll see how it lasts, but it feels worth paying a bit more for. After buying too many flimsy umbrellas we wanted something better. This seems to be it... quick to put up, folds away neatly, and fits nicely in the car.
Picked up three of these and have been pleased with all of them. They fold down neatly, feel solid and the button operation is handy. We've used them for roughly a month now and everything is still working as it should.
A present for someone who'd somehow never had her own umbrella. She was delighted!! At the first sign of rain she took the children out for a walk with it, just to use it. Lovely to see her enjoying something so simple!
Our 3 1/2 year old got this at Easter and still wants it with him constantly. Explaining that we don't need an umbrella every time we leave home was quite a job for a while. He's very proud walking along with his own :)
This has given me the steady cover I was hoping for when it's breezy. What I overlooked was the folded size compared with my small purse. It won't go in there, so I have to carry it separately. Otherwise, no complaints.
If only I could keep track of my umbrellas! These have served me well through the rain when I lived in the midwest, and still do now I've moved. Nothing I'd change, I'd happily get another if I leave this one somewhere.
Feels solid in the hand, the opening action is positive and the extended pole doesn't feel bendy, altogether seems properly put together for what it costs. i'll add to this if any issues come up but so far no complaints

The kids are delighted with it. It opens wider than I had pictured, which was a nice surprise. I imagined them holding it for shade at their little picnic table, but they've already found other make-believe uses for it.

An excellent purchase, both in design and finish. The frame has a reassuring feel without being cumbersome. I particularly appreciate the button operation; opening the umbrella and collapsing its canopy are both smooth.
I picked the cream white umbrella. I am pleased with it. There is a button for opening and folding the canopy. The pole still needs a push to shorten it. That takes a little effort. The oval handle gives me a good grip.
Been using this umbrella out on the golf course and really like it. The Arizona summer sun is no joke.It gives me shade between shots and isn't a burden to carry. Simple button opening too. It comes along regularly now.
Bought one for my nephew and another for my niece, aged 6 and 3. Both are beige. They've been trying them out indoors while they wait for spring. Delivery was on time. The two of them are delighted with their umbrellas.

Smart appearance. Nice quality and finish. The opening action behaved perfectly. The black canopy feels pleasant, different to the cloth I had in mind... gives an impression of the expensive sort, for everyday spending.
The last one looked lovely but turned inside out in fairly ordinary wind. This one feels solid and has coped well so far. I'm sure there is weather it couldn't handle, but I'd be staying indoors long before I found out.
Arrived in canada after ten days. Looks as described and the quality seems good. There is a mild rubbery smell, i think it's from the fabric as that has a slightly rubbery feel too. Not troubling me. Would recommend it.
Bigger opened out than I expected! Comes with a sleeve to keep it tidy when packed away. Feels very solid, with a lot of ribs supporting the canopy. Not one of those spindly feeling umbrellas. A reassuring piece of kit!
My 3 1/2 year old son got this at Easter and still wants to take it everywhere. Had to explain quite a few times that we don't need it open inside the house. He gets so excited when it rains and we can actually use it:)
My first impression was good quality. After 15 months of use, I still think it's a decent umbrella, but it feels heavier than I expected on rainy walks. At this price I had hoped for something more comfortable to carry.
There was a colour mix up at first but it was sorted out without any fuss. The beige umbrella was a gift and the compact size actually suited much better than expected. It looked smart and felt nicely made. Many thanks!
I'm so taken with the green colour!It looks great,and the frame feels reassuringly strong.The only thing is the folded size and weight;wish it was a bit less to carry.It takes up more of my usual handbag than I'd hoped.
My previous umbrella was past its best, so I picked this one to replace it. Just what I needed: folds neatly, opens without a struggle and seems sturdy. Most importantly, I've been staying dry underneath it in the rain.
Walking around chicago with this has been trouble free so far. Love it! Enough cover for me without feeling like I'm taking over the whole pavement. Easier to mind people passing when you're not exactly tall (that's me)
For my friend's daughter, waiting for her sailor to come home from deployment, this was a little homecoming gift. Her smile made it worth the money, and she's looking forward to facing the weather with her new umbrella.
shaft seems solid and built for regular use. ribs have some flex and look securely attached. button action is good for opening and closing the canopy. Only downside is the firm push needed to reset the shaft afterwards.
Used this at my wedding and it was just right. Pretty shape and a lovely look without being fussy. Made a nice parasol on the day, and being able to use it for rainy days afterwards is a bonus. I'd happily recommend it.
Mine is blue, a nice plain colour. The important thing for me was getting an umbrella that felt well made. I wasn't too bothered about the shade, and having used it I'm happy with the quality. Feels like it should last.
My son wanted his own umbrella after watching the older kids use theirs. He's delighted with this one, though I help with the button. Its an umbrella not a toy, so the question about teaching him anything made me laugh.
My daughter is seven and is delighted with it. Easy to open with the button, but pushing the shaft down after the canopy closes takes a bit of effort for her. Its very portable though and she loves the oval loop handle.
The oval loop handle is a neat idea, makes you wonder why you don't see it more often. Only had mine out a few times in mild weather, so that's all I can judge, but the design is sensible and a bit different to look at.
I love the green on this umbrella! saw one in a little shop and looked it up online. nice colour, feels sturdy too. opening is quick, but after pressing to close the canopy i need both hands to push the shaft back down.
Got this to replace my umbrella that gave up in strong wind. This feels pretty solid, opens nice and wide and has handy button controls. Still waiting to try it in the next downpour. Oh, and I like that loop handle too!
Finally replaced the umbrella I'd been hanging onto since 1986. This one has done fine so far. Here in Kansas the rain often comes at you sideways, and I've found the canopy easy to angle into it to keep myself covered.
I'd pictured a slightly larger umbrella, but that was down to me not checking properly. Works nicely and the build seems good. To my mind it's an ordinary everyday size - neither especially tiny nor particularly large.
My granddaughter likes everything in black, so finding an umbrella to suit her was a nice surprise. I gave it to her for her April birthday, ready for the rainy weather. She loves carrying it, and it does its job well.
Handy for walks with the dog. I can give us both a bit of cover, which means less wet coming back into the house. He wouldn't care either way. Takes a little managing if it's windy, but for our walks I'm happy with it.
Ok....first i'm a sports fan....second....this is one of the handiest umbrella's i've had....good cover and folds down when i'm done....not let me down yet....whoever you support i'd recommend it for your everyday use!
Bought it for my husband, he hardly uses umbrellas apart from rainy trips into the yard to let the dog out. Not really something he'd carry about all day, but does the job we needed and didn't cost much! Many thanks!!!
A gift for a good friend and the handle won me over. Love that closed loop, no hook sticking out to catch on things. Opens easily and looks smart............we can even huddle underneath together. Such a nice umbrella.
What a good purchase!!!! Neatly put together! Lovely shape! Materials feel substantial!!! Flexible ribs and a reassuring frame. The button opens it quickly and closes the canopy neatly. Delighted with this umbrella!!!!
Unpacked it and thought, that is a very deep black... I had pictured something softer. It has grown on me. Good coverage, too. Button closes the canopy, then the stem needs a firm push down. Feels nicely solid overall.
What a nice umbrella! Mine arrived quickly. After reading a few reviews I ended up buying two, and I'm glad I did. They feel well made, comfortable to hold, and there's enough shade when I'm sitting in my boat fishing!
