He'd spotted an umbrella like this and kept asking about it, so we finally bought him one. Feels nicely put together and he can work the button himself (he's 4). I help him push the shaft down when we're packing it away.
I bought the blue one for my son and he's happy with it. The button is handy for opening and closing the canopy, although pushing the shaft back in needs a bit of effort. A shorter folded length would fit his bag better.
A Christmas umbrella for my best friend somehow turned into 2--I wanted one as soon as I saw it! I'm delighted with mine. It really is lovely looking, and I'm pretty sure hers will go down just as well when she opens it.
Feels well put together and has behaved nicely on windy days. I especially appreciate the button at the car: one hand deals with the canopy while the other opens the door, so there's much less standing about in the rain.
A very good umbrella for the money. The opening mechanism has a nice positive action, without feeling difficult to control, and it isn't tiring to hold. I can see it being a regular companion on rainy days around Boston.
It came without any damage. The fabric feels thick and the underside is black. It gives a nice patch of shade. The handle clips onto my bag easily. A bit stiff to fold neatly at first, but it feels easier after using it.

It lives in the car now. Getting out in rain is easier with the button, and collapsing the canopy helps when getting back in. Used for rain maybe eight times, for showing how it works probably thirty :) Still going fine.
Good quality for the money. I gave this to my mother as one of her presents, since she plays golf and needed a replacement umbrella. She's pleased with the green colour and finds it handy to carry. A worthwhile purchase.
The umbrella itself seems good, but the green isn't quite the shade I had in mind. It looks BRIGHT to me, not the softer green I was hoping for. I LOVE a quieter green.....and THIS one stands out more than I really want.
Just as shown in the photo- The shape is nice and it opens out quite wide. Feels solid enough to last. I've not seen any rust after using it in the rain- some umbrellas I've owned before started looking rough pretty fast
and she's delighted her wish-list umbrella turned up for Xmas.(I did have a go with it indoors first!) The button takes almost no effort.If it ever blows away,we won't have much trouble deciding what to replace it with..
Such a pretty umbrella. I gave it to my daughter as a present & she finds the button easy on her hands, which can give her trouble. It folds up neatly too.I was so taken with hers that I'm planning to buy another for me.
Eight months in and it is still working just fine. Gives me good cover in the rain and hasn't turned inside out when it's breezy. Nothing has gone wrong with it so far. I'd happily replace it with the same one if needed.
Have only tried it indoors so far -- the button opens it smartly and pulls the canopy shut, then I push the shaft down. Sleeve included. No rain test yet, but it looks solid and seems a sensible size to leave in the car.
Mine has been useful right from the start. Its kept my head and shoulders properly dry in the rain. It also has a nice look to it, not quite like my usual umbrellas. Hopefully this one will stay with me for a good while.
Rain always seems to arrive just as we're leaving for church.My husband is disabled, so holding an umbrella for both of us can be awkward. This opens quickly and gives us enough cover when we stay close. Much easier now.
My sister was so happy with this umbrella. She can fit it in her brief case, which makes it handy to take along. I liked it enough to order a second one as well. Both look lovely and the pink is a really cheerful colour.

A nice looking umbrella and it has been fine in showers. Feels a little more substantial than I expected for a folding one so I would not pick it for a 5 year old to carry alone, but with some help it is perfectly usable
I was hoping for something more geared toward windy weather, with a vented canopy. It feels sturdily put together, so construction isn't my issue. Fine for rain, but I wouldn't choose it when the wind gets really strong.
Love having this for shade, the glare feels much less harsh underneath it,I take it out most days because of the treatment I use on my face, so anything that makes keeping out of direct sunshine easier is welcome to me..
Expected these to be really small folded umbrellas but they're actually a nice useful size. We keep them at the office for anyone stuck when rain starts. They're nice enough that people remember to return them now. Funny
We have got on fine with this umbrella. Looks as pictured and feels good quality. It's no shelter for several adults, but my child and me can just tuck underneath together if we need to. Nothing has given us any trouble.
We've had a few umbrella's for our child and this one is lasting best so far. Our 5 year old has opened and closed it so many times and the parts are all still fine. The sleeve is a great idea, makes it easy to put away.
Our grandson is fascinated by umbrellas, so this one went down very well. He thinks it's lovely and keeps wanting to try the button. Can't say yet how it will last, but at the moment he's delighted with his new umbrella.

Took this along for wedding photos at the vineyard where our wedding was held. It made such a lovely prop and I'm delighted with how the photos came out. The Beige looked beautiful against my dress and the rows of vines.

This Umbrella feels sturdy when it's breezy, and does well with rain or shade. I need to stay out of direct sun but both kids play baseball, so I end up outside a lot. It makes watching their games much more comfortable.
Was looking for a low price umbrella for myself, but I like when something is made properly and can be used long time. This umbrella Is nicely finished and the button works good. Happy with this choice, can recommend it.
Going well so far, feels substantial. A gust did turn it inside out once but it came back into shape with no obvious harm. Not featherweight, though the frame feels solid. Oval handle is nice to hold, button easy to find
Nearly five stars BUT getting the umbrella into its sleeve is a bit of a fiddle. Nice enough idea, I just don't find it convenient when I'm rushing. The umbrella itself is good, so I'll probably leave the sleeve at home.
Took it on my San Francisco trip; easy to manage, kept the rain off and handled the wind fine...didn't take much room in my luggage either. Having a sleeve to pack it in was useful. I'd certainly recommend this umbrella.
It's nice to carry because it isn't very heavy. It does take up more room in my bag than I expected once folded. The button closes the canopy, but you have to push the telescoping part in yourself before putting it away.
How can finding a decent umbrella take so much effort? Why are so many disappointing? This one gets it right...smart looking, nicely put together, not too heavy, and slips into my work backpack. I'd happily have a spare!
quite nice, simple looking. good size for school age kids (not a little toddler umbrella). wish there was more handle to grip. But overall it's a better umbrella than most i've looked at lately (some feel so cheap now!!)
I prefer an umbrella that can shelter two people without squeezing together. This is a bit smaller than I'd ideally want, though fine for me alone. I'm still seeing how the frame fares, but nothing to complain about yet.
My sister left her umbrella on the subway, so this was her replacement gift. She'd really liked the old one and wanted the same again. A good solid feel, folds neatly, looks lovely too. She's delighted to have one again.
I'm from the Caribbean so having shade with me is a big thing! Got one for my friend & myself & we both love them. mines is comfortable to hold and does the job in the sun. I liked it so much I went back and got another.

Feels well made and I used to struggle sitting in the car trying to shut an umbrella outside without getting wet myself. The button collapses the canopy, then I push the shaft back in by hand. So much less messing about!
After seeing my mother in law's folding umbrella I wanted one of my own. This has decent room for me and my wife if we stand close, yet packs away neatly. Much more useful to us than the tiny folding ones we used before.

Handy to take away with me because it folds down neatly into my bag. It doesn't add much weight, which matters when travelling. The open size is enough for me. Useful for a patch of shade as well as keeping off a shower.
A little weight to it, but we can share if we stand close. I wanted a folding umbrella rather than a long one, and this suits. The button is fairly firm and compressing the shaft takes some effort. Happy with it overall.
Works beautifully, my biggest concern is someone deciding it looks better with them than with me! Only joking, but it gets admired. I'm fond of it. Actually, I LOVE the thing. Rain is almost an excuse to take a walk now.
Worked perfectly for the jellyfish Halloween costume I was making (the idea came from a craft page). :) Nice quality for the money... the curved canopy gave me the shape I needed, and it turned out just how I'd pictured.
Came today, and the button works smoothly to open it and fold the canopy. Pushing the pole back down isn't difficult either. The fabric wraps up neatly again. Nice looking design, not flimsy, and fits in my everyday bag.
