Love using this umbrella! Getting it open has been straightforward for me, not the struggle I was expecting from some comments. The shade underneath is comfortable when the sun is out, which matters a lot to me. Looks beautiful as well!
FIVE STARS FROM ME for the solid materials and how well it's holding up. Slightly heavy(compared with the folding umbrellas I've had before), but worth carrying when there's a downpour and I want to stay dry. Comfortable handle as well.
My usual umbrellas were the inexpensive folding ones from the pharmacy. This feels like a step up: a firmer frame and less fuss when the wind picks up. I can't say yet how it will wear over time, but the first impressions are very good.
Taking the dog out is much nicer with this along. There's enough shelter for me and my little companion when he stays close, and it's useful for shade as well. Feels properly made. I'd have no hesitation recommending it to someone else.
Three years with mine and I'm still happy with it. Ordered a second for my husband because he was always borrowing mine. The frame has a bit of give in breezy weather rather than feeling stiff, and ours have been holding up well so far.
Honestly, I'm impressed. A nice sturdy umbrella and it does what I expected it to. The thing that surprised me most was how quickly it arrived. I'm in Brazil, so having it here in five days was a lovely surprise. Very pleased all round.
Picked beige ... & it is definitely beige! Quiet sort of colour, which suits me. The umbrella feels solid and there's decent coverage. Button operation is handy.Only wish it were a touch smaller when folded, but overall a good purchase.
My little boy was pleased with his green umbrella and it turned up when expected. Could have done with more padding by the handle, that end was pressing against the wrapping. Thankfully everything was unmarked and works nicely.Thank you
Our 3 year old spent the first week wanting this umbrella beside her, even with no rain about. Just completely taken with it. We help with the button, of course. Seems a good buy and something her little brother can use when he's older.
only had it out 5 or 6 times, seems good so far. I like the button open/close, just gotta push the stem in by hand after the top shuts or it wont spring up again duh. lent it out once and got "what a nice umbrella" back, i think so too.
There is plenty of room under it, and for a compact umbrella it feels quite steady when there's a breeze. The finish is more practical than fancy, so I can't say yet how it will wear over time. Up to now though, I'm quite happy with it.
Roomy enough for me with my grandson tucked alongside, and simple to open. He enjoys listening to the rain tapping above us. Lovely little moments together! Having one umbrella to manage makes crossing the busy streets much less fiddly.
I got an umbrella since there is rain so often where I live and I had none before.This one is doing good. The price and material is good for me.And I like the simple look. Still need to see how it does for keeping the sun off as well :)
Looked lovely when I unpacked it, with a neat finish and fabric that feels good. I used it with my historical costume for a tea party at a museum and it worked surprisingly well with the outfit. Even a newspaper photographer noticed it!
Mine gets shoved into a backpack alongside heavy textbooks, so it hasn't exactly been pampered. It's coped with wet, blustery days really well. Feels solid, and I love that it folds into a sensible size instead of being awkward to pack!

Provided you aren't like me and forever misplacing umbrellas, this one deserves a little extra spend. It feels solid, copes with wet and blustery days, and still folds small enough to take along without much bother. Worth hanging onto.
Neat size, very elegant. Had several compliments when I carried it. Wouldn't have minded a little more width, but it looked so smart. Left mine unattended in a shop for five minutes and somebody took it! apparently they liked it too :)
Saw a few doubts about how sturdy it is. I'm no umbrella expert, but this feels well put together and gives decent cover. The button works easily, though I've not tried it in a proper storm. Hopefully my girlfriend stays on the ground.
Gave this umbrella to my sister and she has been taking it along everywhere, from soccer to camping and the beach. It gives her a handy patch of shade for lunch outdoors and keeps her covered if rain turns up. A useful size folded too.
My boyfriend has had this since last year. Living beside a canal means we get plenty of blustery showers. The cream white looks good & it's coped well with the weather so far. Would happily suggest it to anyone looking for an umbrella.
Nothing fancy to explain with this umbrella. It does the job you expect. It a decent size open. I take it along to soccer games because I don't need extra weight to lug about. Looks good too. Would suggest it for other soccer parents:)

Chose this as a present for my mother in law and she's been very pleased. It arrived without any delay despite the weather. She liked having the sleeve to put it in. Feels sturdy and gives her useful cover for both rain and sunny days.
I'm so pleased I spent a little more on an umbrella for once. The oval handle looks rather smart. One press opens it, another collapses the canopy. Even strangers have noticed the design and said nice things. Definitely recommend . . .
Arrived boxed, which I liked, and everything was in good condition. There are lots of ribs, it feels strong when it opens, and being automatic it draws the canopy closed quite firmly also... I recommend this one... thank you very much.
but getting it fully packed away takes a little effort. My son is 9 and likes the look, though he needs help pressing the stem back into place after the canopy closes. Opening it is simple for him. We're getting used to that last step.
Previous umbrellas for the grandchildren have felt rather flimsy and didn't last well. This was a recent present, so it has mostly been opened for play so far. The way it's put together makes me hopeful it will be a longer lasting one.
I own two golf-sized umbrellas and like their sturdy feel, especially in wind. This one is much easier to carry but doesn't feel like a flimsy substitute. It has handled wet, breezy weather well. A practical, dependable smaller option.
Got this for my brother and he's delighted with it! The whole thing feels properly made. We had looked at a few options, but some had thin fabric or handles that didn't feel substantial...this has the solid feel we were hoping to find.
Bought this for my Mom at christmas. The box made it sound like it was meant for men. Since when does an umbrella need a gender??? Didn't see anything about that when choosing it. Otherwise it looks nice, just an odd way to present it.
We had rain, wind and thunderstorms during our Yellowstone trip last week, plus snow (yes, in September). Used the umbrella during the rain and it held up really well. Our friends noticed it too. Definitely one I'd recommend to people.

Sits neatly in my backpack. REALLY manageable to carry around. Keeps the rain off, which is the point. Three months in and still working well despite sharing space with my laptop and lunch bag. I'd certainly recommend it for the money.
Keeps the rain off me properly, and there's enough room to share when someone is walking alongside. I especially like how small it gets when folded, so I can tuck it in my handbag instead of carrying it separately. Definitely RECOMMEND
Rain is a regular thing around Seattle, so a nice umbrella does make a difference. The cream white is cheerful even when the sky isn't! After seeing mine I got one each for my mum and sister in New York. It has a lovely, simple finish!
Two things make me like this one: 1) the button is handy when I'm trying to get moving on a crowded pavement; and 2) it hasn't turned inside out in the wind I've met. I'd prefer a slightly smaller folded size, but it's a good umbrella.
My five year old daughter manages the button easily (it's her first umbrella so simple was important). I push the shaft down when we're putting it away. She enjoys carrying it and gets nice comments whenever she does. Looks very sweet.
For myself saving money was important, also I want quality which stays reliable a long time. Umbrella feels well made, have good impression of it. Came to Russia with no difficulties in delivery. Would say a good purchase to recommend.
Automatic opening is quick and the canopy closes neatly with the same button. the flexible frame feels solid, and it gives useful shade as well as rain cover. not heavy to take along, a very handy umbrella to have for everyday outings!
Even my better umbrellas had given up in strong winter winds, and I'd had enough of that. This one feels very well put together and sturdy enough that I reckon I'd be having trouble staying upright before the wind got the better of it.
Very happy with these umbrellas! Other reviews helped me choose, and I ended up getting two. They feel solid rather than flimsy, with a nice grip. Held one over my boat seat while fishing and had plenty of shade. Glad I went with them!
A simple design that looks quite smart. Nothing fussy about it, and the frame feels substantial as well. I couldn't tell you the exact width, but opened up it's close to a normal everyday umbrella. There's a sleeve for putting it away.
Opens quickly & the button closes the canopy smoothly. It has dealt with wind well so far. The black is nice and plain, maybe a little too easy to overlook though. I'll have to remember it when leaving the car or getting off the train!
The build feels really solid, but there's one thing I would change. Folded up, it's bigger than I had pictured, so it needs more space in my bag than expected. Check the folded size if you're planning to squeeze it into something tiny!
