Outstanding umbrella at a very fair price. Nicely finished, smart black colour, comfortable grip and pleasant to hold. Press once to open, again to collapse the canopy, then push the stem in by hand. Great materials and very convenient.
This replaces an umbrella I managed to lose. I wasn't looking to spend much again, so finding one that feels this decent was a nice surprise. There was a noticeable smell at first and it hung around, although I can barely detect it now.
Strong little umbrella and has coped nicely with breezy rain. Here in South Florida an umbrella gets used a lot. I finally understand spending a bit more instead of replacing cheap ones all the time. Would make a good practical present!
Having a button to gather the canopy is handy, but making the umbrella short again takes a fairly firm push. It does reset properly; it's just more effort than I expected. I find it easier using both hands rather than trying to rush it.
Carried it around for days before I actually needed it. Started to think it was keeping the rain away, which isn't a complaint. Finally got caught in a shower with it and had a chance to try it properly. Very pleased with how it worked.
Our three and a half year old likes using this with us. He's hardly gentle with his things, but it's stayed in good shape. The loop handle is nice to hold. A little heavier than I'd choose for him alone, so we help, but a good umbrella.
I gave my boyfriend this umbrella as he'd never owned one that felt very substantial. He's delighted with it. He took it along to Scotland and said it handled the wet, windy days well, even when other people were struggling with theirs.
Feels like a very well made umbrella. The button pops it open and it holds its shape well in wind. For something that folds up, it feels every bit as solid as the full length umbrella I have (and I usually find those the stronger sort).

Came in good condition and opens out to give decent coverage. Feels solid in a breeze too. The downside- that loop handle isn't especially comfortable for my hand. It's perfectly usable, just not something I enjoy holding for very long.
No rain when she opened it, so her breakfast got shaded from the sunshine instead! The three year old was delighted with her umbrella. Still early to judge how long it'll last, but it gives her plenty of cover without feeling too heavy.
My idea of "compact" was a little smaller than this, but that's always the risk of judging size from a screen. Still, it's a VERY GOOD umbrella -- gives me decent coverage and has kept me dry. Just needs more bag space than I'd planned.
Just as I hoped. Matches the description. Blue outside with a black underside, about 40cm folded, supplied with a carry sleeve. A practical size for my larger handbag, very pleased 👍 Everything was neatly packed. Happy to recommend it.
the size is just right for my walks, gives me shade without being awkward to hold. I avoid sunscreen b/c the fragrances bother me and it seems to make me sweat more. This feels much nicer for being outside, so it's what I reach for now.
The open size is fine for me, although I had pictured a little more room around the edges. It folds down into a tidy package, which is the best part for carrying it about. A useful umbrella, just don't expect the coverage of a huge one!

My wife's previous umbrella made it through six years before needing replacement. This one has been a good choice for her golfing days. Keeps the rain off while she's picking a club and is less of a nuisance than putting a rain hood on.
I haven't tried it in really gusty weather yet, but in ordinary rain it's done well. So far it compares favorably with more expensive umbrellas I've used. I'll update once it has seen some summer thunderstorms and I can judge it better.

Small enough to keep with my coat, which means I actually remember to take it instead of leaving it behind. For something that folds away it feels reassuringly strong...has coped with windy rain without turning itself the wrong way out.
Much better value than some expensive umbrellas I've owned. Feels tough in a breeze, comfortable in the hand, and the button works well both ways. As for expecting miracles in wild weather, sometimes the sensible thing is not to go out!
Excellent bit of kit. Nicely constructed. Stays out of the way until needed, then opens quickly when the weather turns unpleasant. I appreciate that. Particularly handy for my wife to carry without hauling a full-length umbrella around.

Had mine about a month now. Opens out to a useful size without being awkward to carry when folded. Yesterday it got its first proper test in wind and rain, and I came home dry with the umbrella fine too. A really good buy for the money!
Such good quality! I really love how these look! Ordered six for my bridesmaids and they're so pretty together. Worth the money, ,just takes a firm push to reset each one after closing it. Can't wait to have them all out on the big day!
Once opened, this umbrella gives a surprisingly wide area of cover. Folded down it is still quite manageable to take along. There is some weight to it, which I actually prefer as it feels substantial in the hand. Definitely recommended.
An umbrella pretty enough to show off! My daughter was delighted with hers, it's such a nice looking thing. No reason to save it just for wet weather either. She can take it along on a sunny summer walk and enjoy a bit of shade as well!

we're happy with this umbrella! it was surprisingly hard to find something straightforward for us--this one feels solid, opens with a button, and has a comfy loop handle instead of an awkward hook or fiddly bits sticking out everywhere.
A last minute order for my wife and it turned up sooner than I'd thought. everything was packed neatly in the box. The finish looks lovely and it's been opening perfectly (arrived just as we needed it for that very wet April in Indiana!
i'm so happy with this umbrella. liked using it enough that i went back and bought another in a different shade. Simple to work and not heavy either. Fits into a small space when put away. I'll probably get one more to leave in the car.
Loved having this on our theme park trip. It tucked into the luggage and rode in the stroller without much fuss. Used it during a light shower and for a bit of afternoon shade. Feels nicely made, simple button operation. Looks nice too.
Works very well and the handle feels comfortable in my hand. I'd have liked another strap for holding everything together once folded, though. Not enough to put me off using it, just a small design detail that seems to have been missed.
Looks well built, plenty of ribs in there. The handle loop is rather little though - even my not very big hand wouldn't go through. 🤣 Material feels thick, with what looks like a coating. Opening and closing it is easy. It'll get used.

The fabric provides nice shade and it's been useful in sunshine. Not heavy to carry around, though the mechanism feels a little delicate, so I'm reserving judgment on long term use. I'd be cautious taking it out in really gusty weather.
wanted something nice to look at that would also give me decent cover on wet days. Very pleased with the green colour and the way it folds down, makes it so convienent to keep in the car for when you need it and the rain catches you out
I couldn't find the type I used to use, so took a chance on this. Wind around here is what usually finishes my umbrellas off. This one has already had a fair bit of use in blustery weather and still works smoothly. So far I'm impressed.
Looks just like the photo and feels sturdier than I expected. I wanted it for a costume, so it hasn't had a rainy outing yet. The frame feels quite firm despite the flexible ribs. Would need actual wind to judge that part. Nice overall.
Fits into a roomy handbag when folded, with enough space underneath once it is open. The fabric feels good and the ribs have a nice firm feel without being rigid. It seems like it will hold up to regular use. Good value for the quality.
Very good for the heavy downpours. Beige is a plain color but not a gloomy looking one. If you enjoy quieter colors this would suit you. People still notice it and say something nice, so it doesn't need a busy picture to be interesting.

Enough shade for my face and neck, which is what I wanted. I use an umbrella whatever the season, even on bright winter days. People sometimes look at me funny but never mind, I'd rather have some shade than worry about what they think.
