Mainly wanted something for shade, but it's useful when the rain catches me out as well. Compact enough to bring along, and the canopy is quite sufficient for a sudden shower.
A brilliant umbrella for everyday use. Smart looking and nicely thought out. The button opens AND closes the canopy. I'd happily recommend it if you want something convenient.
For valentine's day these became ceiling decorations in my classroom. The kids kept staring up at them and were so well behaved all day, they were fascinated by the umbrellas.

My grandson is 4 and likes having his own umbrella for watching softball and soccer.A bit big for him ...but it passes his test of being a "guy" umbrella and not a "girly" one
We have three of these now. They pack down neatly and are easy to hold, put up and fold away. All three have coped well with rain and gusts, without getting bent out of shape.
Our son's second birthday present was the green umbrella. His sister already has her own, and now they both want to be outside with them whether there's any rain about or not!
My little one asked for beige to go with her dress, and this was just right. Looks sweet and has stood up to being a dress up parasol and occasionally a pretend walking stick.
Fits alongside my golf bag nicely and opens out to give me good coverage. Here in Louisiana an umbrella is something you really need. Expect this one will be coming out often.

It's a little chunky (like having a baton in your bag!). Of course, since buying it I haven't been caught in any real rain! Still, it feels very solid and like it should last.

Love the look of this one! The oval handle is different from what I'm used to and I'm not sure about it yet, haven't had it out in the rain. Great feel though... COME ON RAIN!

Arrived well packed and looking as expected. Tested the button straight away, canopy went up and came back down without trouble, i am satisfied with it and would recommend it.

A promising start. . . wanted some shade for hikes and walks, and this gives me that without carrying a long umbrella. Happy with it so far, longevity is still to be seen. . .
Looks smart, feels quite substantial, which I find reassuring in windy rain, the flexible ribs are something I noticed straight away, it gives the whole umbrella a solid feel.

Solid construction. Good price!Also useful for blocking cameras outside a grand jury hearing. All the reporters get is a canopy instead of your face. Ha! Try harder next time!
The green is nice, though I'm not quite sold on the look of the oval handle. Otherwise it's a sturdy little ally in my ongoing campaign against the weather here in California.
stands up nicely to a breeze, they find it comfortable to carry walking around. used for weddings and dressy occasions, keeps rain off their hair without looking out of place.

Bought it for my fiance and she's delighted. Her walk to the bus stop can get breezy & this has coped well. She especially likes how quickly it opens at the press of a button.
As a teacher I appreciate having an umbrella handy for children caught without one. Helps them get indoors less wet instead of dripping through the classroom. Good sturdy feel
Not the most solid feeling umbrella but it's lasted about eight months. Was after a smaller one for a while, now I'm back with this as it has kept going well with regular use.
I'm delighted with this umbrella. The beige is elegant and it seems strong. Several people have admired it. Handy for some shade too, though I'm not putting away my sunscreen.
My favourite bit is how much shelter it gives. The canopy opens wide enough to cover my child properly, instead of leaving their shoulders out in the rain. Love this umbrella!
A lovely gray colour, and it seems nicely put together. I've used it for shade on sunny days and then for keeping dry when it rains. Useful for both, and well worth the money.

Looks nicely put together. So cute! My boys are 2 and 3 and love using it. It's been out with us a few times, sometimes just so they can play in the rain. A big hit with them!
My old umbrella (over six years of use) was a hard act to follow. Pleased with this replacement, it has that solid feel I like and works smoothly without being bulky to carry.
She takes this everywhere now, says having it makes her stand out, I keep telling her she does that anyway without an umbrella, but it makes her happy so I'm happy with it too

A sturdy umbrella that I could easily pack away was what I needed, and the gray appealed to me. This has lived up to my hopes. Arrived promptly and has been working very well.
Absolutely LOVE mine. It covers me nicely and I can still see ahead with it held up. The black looks smart rather than boring. I've already had several nice comments about it.
Pleased with my choice. Folded up it's easy enough to carry, and opened out it gives me good shelter from the rain. Wind hasn't put it to the test yet, so can't comment there.
my old umbrella didn't survive a windy storm in chicago.looked around online for two weeks before settling on this one.it looks good, fits my purse and has been sturdy so far!
My little girl was thrilled with this! Another child at school had ruined her old blue umbrella and she was upset. This replacement was a surprise, now she just hope for rain!
Between work & home it's all city wind tunnels, and this umbrella has held up nicely!! Money well spent. No plans to dump this one beside the curb halfway through a downpour!!
came as described and looks strong, been needing a decent umbrella with the rain getting blown sideways round here. the frame seems solid and its worked really well up to now.
Oregon winters aren't gentle on umbrellas, with all our rain and wind. This one has done wonderfully. I've tried a few different umbrellas and would happily come back to this.
