Has coped with the wet and blustery weather we've been getting lately. One of my better umbrella purchases in years. Anyone thinking of getting one I would say go ahead, it has been a good one for me.
Yes, it keeps the rain off and I can hold it up without blocking my view, but my favourite part is the solid feel when a breeze comes along, not that flimsy feeling where you're fighting the umbrella!
Rain stays off me, which is what matters. It's fairly substantial, slightly heavy and bigger folded than I think of as pocket size, but seems well built. Pleased with it and hoping it lasts for years.
For the price, I'm satisfied. I have two similar looking umbrellas and both have a pink stitch that stands out in one little area. Doesn't appear to be anything wrong, but I do wonder why it is there.
really useful umbrella. enough room over me without feeling enormous, and it has coped well on breezy walks. i walk proper distances in rain (not only across a car park) and have stayed dry using this
Good for one person, could shed 40g. thin fabric (half my old one's thickness), black underside gives decent shade. Canopy shuts by button, shaft takes a firm push to reset; my manual one was easier.
not the lightest thing in my bag, but it feels properly made - i find myself hoping for a bit of rain to give it another outing - lives in my work backpack every day anyway -- better to have it there
works a treat! good coverage without a long umbrella to carry. button shuts the canopy which is handy. Seems solid. After too many flimsy umbrellas this feels like money better spent. Would buy again
This has worked out so well for my husband. He loves it. Wasn't certain about the size just looking at the photos, but it gives him the coverage he wanted (ROOMY). Really pleased I went with this one
A really nicely made umbrella for my granddaughter. We've already had plenty of fun outside together, splashing about in puddles & listening to rain on the canopy. Exactly what I'd hoped for. THANKS~
There's a slightly old-fashioned look to it that I love--i appreciate being able to pop it up with a press. Only thing is, being quite small myself, I still have to hang on firmly when it gets gusty.
She was delighted with it. Gives a good amount of cover(when fully opened) and feels solid. Worth the cost. I'd recommend it to ANY Jamaican heading out for the independence anniversary celebrations.
I like the look of it, so taking it along wasn't a chore. Funny thing, every outing with it seemed to be dry at first. No complaints there. Finally had some rain to try it in and it did a lovely job.
At this price it's a good little umbrella. light enough to carry about, suited to everyday showers rather than serious gusts and driving rain. handy for making a bit of shade when away on holiday too
Our son received this at Christmas.....he tried it outdoors straight away and said......Brilliant! He works in business and was particularly happy that it fitted neatly into the bag he takes to work.
Rain is pretty scarce round here, much to my daughter's annoyance. She's only taken this out a couple of times, but it kept her dry and wasn't a struggle to open or put away. Looks very nice as well.
Good value for what you get. I chose it because the frame looked solid. After trying it I ordered a second one. There is plenty of room underneath and the rain stays off me. I expect to use it often.
Quality has been good, I take it out on all my rainy dog walks and people have said nice things about the gray i picked. The ribs have a reassuring bit of give to them, i like that. would buy another
On hot days at the golf course this umbrella is a real help. It's noticeably more comfortable under the shade, and it has kept its shape in the breeze. A lovely thing to have along if you golf often!
My daughter's favourite at christmas, I think! The simple finish is really pretty, and that little oval handle looks cute. She can press the button to open it herself, which she's very pleased about.
Absolutely delighted with this umbrella! A generous amount of cover, feels nicely made, & the plain black looks smart. A lovely practical buy & I'd happily recommend it to anyone needing an umbrella!
Good sized umbrella. Opens without fuss and seems solid. Easy enough to fold, though getting it into the sleeve defeated me, not a big concern. Kept me dry in some heavy rain last week, so I'm happy.
Rain doesn't bother me so much now, I get to take this out! I loooove the gray. Already tempted to have a spare in case I misplace mine. Would make a lovely gift for someone who likes simple colours.
Bought this to give my dogs some cover since they hate getting rained on. Rainy season here in FL means lots of rain and some wind too. It's handled that better than I expected! Definitely recommend!
Absolutely LOVE this umbrella. Nice quality, good shelter, and didn't cost a fortune. There was a faint powdery coating when I unpacked it, as others mentioned, but a quick wipe took it straight off.
I picked this up for my niece's little girl. The black looks very neat and she was so happy seeing it. It feels nicely made too. I think it a lovely umbrella for her, she is pleased with her present.
I tought the green would be lighter from the picture; its darker in person.Still a nice color. I ordered a pair as gifts and the quality is good. I can recomend these if you like that shade of green.
Bought one for my daughter's costume and wasn't expecting it to be quite so pretty in person. It feels nicer than a costume prop. Ended up getting another for her sister because I liked it that much.
I love the way this umbrella looks. The inside has a neat finish and it seems different from the other ones I've had. Gives me good coverage too. It feels well made and has worked very nicely for me.
I pictured it being a little roomier, especially for sharing. A photo doesn't really give you a feel for the size.Would prefer a touch bigger but for just me it works very well and I'm happy with it.
Exactly the sort of compact umbrella I wanted, and less expensive than the ones I'd been considering. WELL WORTH IT! Feels sturdy, opens automatically and includes a sleeve to put it in. Great value!
Nicely built and smarter looking than a lot of umbrellas I've had. The closed loop handle is handy when my hands are full, gives me something secure to hold onto. Opens automatically with the button.
Opening is easy and the coverage is good for something that folds down. Closing the canopy takes a button press, but resetting the shaft is a manual push. That part takes more effort than I'd prefer.
Had my last umbrella for years, then left it drying open on the porch when a big wind came through....only myself to blame :( This one is a lovely replacement, better to use and kinder on the wallet.
A Christmas present for our granddaughter, who's 3. She's delighted with it-feels very grown up!!We help with the button and folding but she loves carrying it. Seems nice and solid. Would reccommend.
Has it really been nearly two years since I bought it? Usually mine barely last a season. This one's still sturdy, with space for my gf & me standing close. Looks good and works just as well as ever.
The button has become my favourite part of using this umbrella. Particularly useful at the car door when I'm carrying something else. Everything works well and I'd be glad to recomend it to a friend.
Was a little doubtful at the price . Having used it, I think it's money well spent. A finger on the button opens it or folds the canopy, useful when carrying things. Feels dependable in a breeze too.
Matches what I expected. Surprised how nicely finished it is for the money. My child finds the closed loop handle comfortable to hold, with enough space to get a proper grip. Feels well put together.

The blue is beautiful and the umbrella is a good size too!. Glad I chose it. I took it along to a Beach Wedding because we would be standing in the sun, and it was useful for shade as well as rain !.
Probably my favourite umbrella so far. Feels like something I'll get plenty of use from. It's kept me dry on rainy days, although I haven't taken it into really strong wind. Expect it will cope fine.
I kept replacing bargain folding umbrellas for years and finally decided to spend a little more on this one. After a whole week of rain, I'm glad I did. Wish I'd stopped buying the cheap ones sooner.
My favourite umbrella by far. Strong feeling and lovely looking. I've had compliments on it too. After eight years with the last one, a mishap of my own meant replacing it. So happy to have this one!
this umbrella looks really nice. But I wouldn't expect a four year old to manage it alone. Getting it put away takes more strength than that. For an adult or bigger child I would happily buy another.
My dinosaur mad son has taken to this umbrella. he brings it into his pretend battles and uses it for showers too. The plain beige looks nice. Feels sturdy enough that he'll have it for a good while.
City streets & the gusts between buildings are no joke, but this has been a proper little workhorse!! Money well spent. No more feeling like my umbrella is something I'll be abandoning halfway home!!
The quality is what I hoped for - a solid umbrella I can rely on. Not the tiniest when folded, but it fits my carryon without trouble. Opening one-handed is simple & the button closes the canopy too.
A sturdy little umbrella. It tucks into my purse or the car's glove compartment without taking over. Once opened, there's enough room for me with one of my kids tucked beside me, which is all I need.
Solid umbrella. Feels tough. Opens a bit wider than I had pictured.. Not a bad thing though. Only taken it out twice so far.. One outing was windy and it behaved perfectly well. Happy with this one!!
