For the money I can't fault it.
For the money I can't fault it. A bit cheap feeling, yes, but walking downtown in rain and wind it's done fine. No turning inside out so far. My friend works downtown too, got her one and she loves it to!

The umbrella arrived and looks just as described. the black fabric looks nice; i am happy with what i bought. it folds down neatly and comes with a soft sleeve, so there is somewhere to put it afterwards.
For the money, the build is very reassuring - I expect to get plenty of use from it. Small warning - there's some weight to it in a bag, though that seems a fair trade for something that feels this solid.
Works smoothly and the loop handle is comfortable in my hand. I would have preferred a tidier way to keep the folded fabric together when carrying it. A small annoyance rather than a reason not to buy it.
Ordered this parason for a dress-up day at a Florida theme park, came quickly and packed very nicely, I was pleased with the quality I got for the price. It shaded me in such a sunny day and looked lovely!
Can't speak for everything yet, I mainly picked it because the frame looked strong. It does feel solid in use. Mind you, it's more hefty than I thought a folding umbrella would be. Not particularly light.
The handle really caught my eye. Now I'm almost hoping for a rainy day to take it outside. The oval loop sits nicely in my hand, and the whole umbrella looks even better opened out than it does folded up.
Where I live in Houston, a shower can turn into a proper downpour very quickly. People tend to carry enormous umbrellas here. This one has enough room over me and so far it has given me no trouble at all.
Tested the umbrella: it opens and closes by pressing the button. Seems solid, we'll see over time.
Bought this for my grandson- he'd taken a liking to an umbrella he found so I got him a gray one of his own. The spare went to his cousin. He's pleased with his and I haven't heard any grumbles about it.
This isn't one of those huge golf umbrellas, which suits me fine. There's still decent cover overhead, and the frame has some give in a breeze. I don't feel like I'm about to take flight holding onto it.
My husband isn't much of an umbrella person, but he liked this gift. There's enough room over him when he's outside checking the grill in the rain, and he can take it to the beach for a little shade too.
It goes out with me often and has been just right. A couple of drops and some windy days haven't bothered it. There's a little weight to it, but it feels properly made, so that doesn't put me off at all.
A solid little umbrella that folds away neatly. My first was bought on a wet day in San Francisco. Years later it disappeared from a restaurant, so I've bought another, not because the original wore out.
Space in my backpack is precious, and this folds down neatly without adding much weight. Did exactly what I needed! Took it on my walk to the post office today and it felt reassuringly well put together.
That loop handle is such a neat idea: why don't more umbrellas have one?!. Feels much more solid than I'd imagined. My friends noticed it straight away and asked about it. I'd happily recommend this one.
Have always liked the quality from this maker. A touch smaller would suit me better, but it feels sturdy and looks smart. I keep several umbrellas in different sizes and this one is a very good addition.
The quality was a pleasant surprise. We've only had it a week, but the frame and fabric feel substantial enough to last well. Easy to handle and a sensible size for everyday use. The finish is very good.
Looks lovely and feels solid. Here in Vegas it comes out for sun far more than rain, though I'd expect it to be useful in a wetter place too. The appearance sold me on it and I'm not disappointed at all.
had this umbrella a good while now and it's still going strong! the automatic mechanism actually feels decent and hasn't become a nuisance with use, nice to have one that keeps working the way it should.
A gift for a close friend, and that handle was a hit. Love, love, love the neat loop. Nothing hook-shaped catching on things. Quick to open and put away, room for two close together..........just lovely.
A generous size when open, with a grip I find comfortable. The finish looks good throughout. Haven't owned it long enough to prove anything, but it gives the impression it'll keep going for a good while.
Here in Chicago (the wind certainly makes itself known) I've been impressed! It's kept me dry through the wet, blustery days I've taken it out in. Much sturdier than I expected! An easy recommendation!!!
Same look as the picture and the button works well. So far it's only faced light wind, which it handled without inverting. Also useful for shade when the sun's out. Not the lightest thing to carry, mind.
heavier than i expected, but feels properly made - almost disappointed there hasn't been more rain to try it in - goes in my backpack for the journey to work and home every day -- better to have it along
Fits into my briefcase and doesn't add much weight. A handy compact umbrella to keep there. I do feel the handle could be a little less bulky, but that is a small thing and I am happy with what I bought.
So pretty and smart looking. I was really upset to lose the first one I owned, and relieved to find it again here at a price I was comfortable with. Happy to have another, and I'd certainly recommend it!
The pink looks very close to the photo. Good quality for what I paid. My one reservation: pushing the shaft back down after the canopy closes needs a fairly firm push. Opening it with the button is easy.
Arrived promptly! looks smart! handle was nicely protected! The sleeve slips down a little when i'm carrying it about, but i like the umbrella anyway. Somehow i feel less easy to push around carrying it.
Works beautifully. Nice construction. Button is easy. Doesn't stay wet for ages. I enjoy looking at paintings in the New York museum, though this plain black has its own appeal. A very handsome umbrella.
Having her own umbrella makes my daughter happy, and the other kids tend to ask about it.She can carry it by herself and finds the button easy. I fit underneath as well if I've left my own one somewhere.
I'm no umbrella expert so I haven't much technical to tell about it. The blue looks beautiful and I like it a lot. Nothing seems out of place or badly made. Looking forward to getting it out in the rain!
Can't understand the comments calling it flimsy or difficult.Mine was a Christmas gift and it's impressively solid. Nothing complicated about using it either, the button makes opening it straightforward.
We had green umbrellas ready for our little outdoor wedding in case of rain. Instead we got heat and sunshine & they were useful for shade while everyone waited for the ceremony and then the photographs.
First impression is that it's solidly put together, a welcome change from my old umbrella that turned inside out. The loop handle feels slightly small but holds comfortably enough. Keeping it in the car!
The 30 ribs give this umbrella a sturdy feel. The frame seems well supported and holds steady in a breeze. Opens out quite wide with good coverage. Happy with the quality for the money. Worth buying. ☔👍
We have three now. Handy to carry, comfortable in the hand and simple to open and pack away. They've all done well in rain and wind so far, with the canopies keeping their shape when a gust catches them.
Taken it out twice in the Arizona sunshine so far. Plenty of shade, and the breeze didn't turn it inside out. Roomy too. A good purchase--I'd get another, though this one seems likely to last me a while.
Sent one to my son in Seattle as a gift. He's been using it through the wet winter and says it's keeping him dry, even on breezy walks. Still going strong, which is exactly the news his mum likes to get!
Such a lovely purchase!!!! Packed neatly! Looks smart! The fabric feels excellent! Flexible ribs with a reassuring frame!!! Opens at a touch, canopy closes by button too. Absolutely delighted with it!!!!
The frame feels solid and has coped with moderate breezes. Button control makes the canopy easy to open and collapse. Fits neatly in my purse when folded. Friends have also remarked on how nice it looks.
Keeps my shoulders covered, the shaft isn't as tall as the full length umbrellas I'm used to. The oval handle takes a little getting used to, nothing serious. The black looks very nice - simple and neat.
My six year old grandson is very taken with this umbrella. He is already talking about bringing it along to our school football games in the fall. It's a nice everyday size and he thinks it looks great!!
this umbrella feels really solid we have had some miserable weather and I wasn't expecting much when I finally took it out. IT DID GREAT!!!! Kept me dry and I am glad I gave it a chance. Would recommend.
Mum's previous umbrella lasted fifteen years, so this has a lot to live up to. She likes the handle and the extra coverage. Too soon to know about lasting quality-but she's pleased with it at the moment.
Working in SF for over a year meant going through one flimsy umbrella after another..AT LAST something that feels worth paying for. Been using this one and it hasnt given up on me yet. Money well spent!!
My son is thrilled with this umbrella and I'm pleased with it too. It gives him a nice bit of shelter without a huge umbrella to drag about. I especially like how comfortably he can hold the loop handle.
I've gone through a fair few umbrellas living and working in Chicago. This one feels like a keeper. Not burdensome to carry but reassuringly solid, and I find the oval loop handle sits nicely in my hand.
These were for our Valentine's couple photos and worked beautifully! There's enough room to get the couple close together underneath and try different shots! A fun little prop for the couples AND for me!
The cover is a good size for me and it has coped nicely with breezy rain. I can hold it low without feeling I'm wrestling it. I do keep the front raised enough to see where I'm walking, which works fine.
