It folds down, but isn't one of those miniature pocket sized umbrellas. Anyone wanting the very smallest travel version should keep that in mind.Otherwise it has done all I wanted and I'm very happy with it.
Exactly as described! A compact black umbrella and it does its job well. The button feels positive. The handle is an oval loop (not an open hook) and sits nicely in my hand without a complicated shaped grip.
A good umbrella for what I paid. I would order another and would choose the same one again. Getting something that feels well made without spending a lot is great. I recommend it. Good quality for the money.
Bought these as presents for our daughters in Chicago. They needed something sturdier for those windy days after going through so many umbrellas. Both girls LOVE these and have been using them all the time!!
As an umbrella it has been very good, though the folded size and weight are a little more than I had pictured. Not enough to put me off using it. I really like being able to clip the oval handle onto my bag.

Bought the black one to go with my daughter's prom dress when rain was forecast. Neat looking, sturdy, and small enough to bring along without a fuss. Couldn't find what I wanted locally. Fair price as well.
The quality seems nice and the inside ribs looks strong too. Only 4 stars because it is little heavier than I thought. Still works very good in rain and the button is simple to use (no struggling to open it)
Feels tough.. used mine trekking in a rain forest and it did the job. Only thing is the oval handle takes a moment to settle in my hand. cos I want to just grab it, not think about which way round feels best
Such a pretty umbrella, I handle it gently, gives me good shade and I am happy with it , would recommend. People have said nice things about the look , I keep mine for sunny days instead of using it in rain.
An excellent purchase in my view. The finish is tidy and the construction feels solid. I particularly appreciate the oval loop handle, a thoughtful design. The button opens the umbrella with a smooth action.
Beige looks nicer in person (the photo doesn't quite catch it) and I've had several compliments. I'm a small woman, 5'1, wanting a manageable parasol. This is comfortable for me and gives the shade I wanted.
nicely put together; sturdy without being awkward to hold. My little ones (6&4) like pressing the button, though I help with folding it away. Much more substantial than the flimsy umbrellas we've had before.
In my head this was going to open wider, so that part is on me. It works smoothly and the construction seems sound. I'd call it an ordinary everyday size, not a tiny umbrella but not an oversized one either.
We've got three between the family now. Everyone takes their own cuz it makes going to work or travelling so much easier! holds up fine in normal wind and rain. Wouldn't choose it for a storm, but I like it.
Used this for engagement photos and it looked lovely, The pink really shows up..It was bought for the pictures rather than rain, so I haven't tested that part..feels decent enough that I'd expect it to cope.
Rainy walks with my golden retriever are always a juggling act. This gives me decent cover and the button is handy when I've got the lead. Not really room to keep both of us dry, but it suits our walks well.
Love taking this out! The button makes opening it straightforward; I haven't had the struggle I expected from a folding umbrella. It gives me a welcome patch of shade in the sun, and it looks lovely as well!
The umbrella i had from a shop didnt feel this well made . this one feels much better . infact my three yr old granson is forever wanting to hold it . after many weeks its still looking good and working fine
My 5 year old is delighted with his green umbrella. We hardly see rain here, but a grey sky is enough to have him asking to take it outside. He enjoys pressing the button, and we help put it away afterwards.
A nice middle ground for size and weight - enough umbrella to feel useful, not so much that it becomes cumbersome. I don't know that I needed the unusual loop handle, but I do enjoy the cheerful pink colour.
So far so good, feels solid and a gust did turn it inside out once but it went back without any obvious harm. Has some weight to it, which I don't mind. Handle is comfortable (and the button is easy to find)
The design looks beatiful and it stand up well in wind so far. One of the more solid umbrellas I have tried & held. Maybe a bigger one for autumn rain, but this is good for carrying every day. Can recommend.
These made lovely gifts for family and friends, not something we see much round here. Have not tried them out in rain yet , but the finish looks very good and the design is excellent. bought three altogether
Good size and fabric. One thing I should mention is: closing with the button only folds the canopy, you need to press the pole fully down by hand for reset. Then it can open again, takes a little practice...
Smart looking umbrella and actually useful, not just nice to look at. Mine has coped well with wet, blustery days and still feels solid - worth having if you walk alot round town or spend much time outdoors.

I feel quite dressed up carrying the green umbrella, my only little niggle is the loop handle feels a bit bulky in my hand. Nothing that spoils using it, just something I noticed and thought worth a mention.

Picked up two for the local Renaissance festival. A better price than buying there, and they gave us the shade we needed. Still have them for another visit this year. Really pretty and surprisingly durrable!
I love using this! It reminds me of carrying an umbrella back in the seventies, but this one packs away much more neatly. Easy to hold without blocking my view and it hasn't flipped over on me in the breeze.

My grandson picked this out because he wanted a nice umbrella for starting second grade. He was so excited when he got to open it. Seeing him that pleased with his choice makes his grandma pretty happy too .

A GREAT way for me to show support for breast cancer awareness. The umbrella itself is a winner too. Nice broad canopy, more cover than I expected when it was folded up. Looking forward to using it...... :)
A present for my son, who gets to work on foot in the city. He chose it himself and was surprised at the coverage once it opened. He's already had a rainy walk with it and told me he got there nice and dry.
Most of my getting around is on foot, whatever the weather. This has handled the breezy rain on my walks nicely. The frame flexes without feeling flimsy, and it folds down to go in my backpack when I'm done
It folds down to a practical size and is not tiring to carry. I see it as something for unexpected showers, not an umbrella I'd choose for really rough weather. It keeps me dry and doesn't take over my bag.
Nice quality umbrella for my granddaughter. We've already spent plenty of time outside in the rain, with her splashing through puddles & generally enjoying herself while I hold it over us. MUCH APPRECIATED~
I hold this over my baby when we're out walking so the sun isn't in her face. The green looks very sweet. A roomier handle would suit me better, but people often say how nice it looks and I'm happy with it.
First outing was windy and I was pleased it did NOT turn inside out! The button does its part fine, but pushing the shaft back down by hand needs some effort. I'd have preferred a slightly easier last step.
