It's not quite tiny when folded (looks like I'm carrying a little baton!). Naturally, since I bought it I've not been caught in a thunderstorm once. Anyway, the whole thing feels strong and built to stay with me.
Bought it for shade while on vacation and was delighted with how cute it looked. A few strangers even complimented it. Seems nicely put together, though I wouldn't treat it roughly. Very satisfied with my choice.
My daughter had this in time for a run of wet weather and she's stayed dry, along with her things. A few people have commented nicely on it too. A bit bulkier folded than she'd hoped, but a good umbrella overall.
Bought this as a birthday present for my six year old granddaughter, who had been asking for an umbrella of her own. She was overjoyed and her two older sisters wanted one too. Lovely looking and nicely finished.
The automatic action has won me over. So useful beside the car, especially when I'm carrying other things as well. Opening it without wrestling with a catch makes a difference. I'd happily recomend it to someone.

Bigger opened out than I expected! No rain here yet so I have only tried it indoors, but the size makes me happy~ Has some heft with that canopy~ Still perfectly manageable for me to hold, not ridiculously heavy!
Picked this mainly because it isn't a burden to carry. The compact size suits me, although in really heavy rain I still get wet around the edges. For keeping in a bag in case the weather changes it is very handy.
Travel size suited me perfectly, and, it kept me dry on that trip. Unfortunately I misplaced it. I'm buying another, even though, I know not everyone gets on with the same umbrella, but, mine was absolutely fine.
No need to spend a fortune for a useful umbrella! Mine comes golfing with me for shade, and I've had it out in rain too with no trouble. Opens to a good size for one person, which suits me fine. Money well spent.
After spending money on one cheap folding umbrella after another, I finally paid a little more for this one. A week of rain and it's been excellent. Wish I'd made the change ages ago instead of wasting the money.
Black looks quite smart, and appealed to my preschool granddaughter. Seems well put together compared with some flimsy umbrellas about). I can see it lasting a while. Would buy again if I had more granddaughters.
Sadly mine got left on a bus recently, which I'm still annoyed about because it was such a good umbrella! Felt strong, coped well with breezy days and the button never gave me trouble. Would happily recommend it!
It folds small enough for my brief case and leaves room for everything else. Not much trouble to carry either. I would make the oval handle a bit slimmer if I could, but I am satisfied with the umbrella as it is.
A smart looking umbrella that also feels substantial, which is the combination I wanted. For anyone tired of the really cheap ones that feel disposable, I think this is a sensible step up. Very pleased with mine.
Good umbrella, matches the pictures in the listing, you notice how solid it feels when holding it. and the materials seem good too., pushing the shaft back takes some effort but a little extra pressure is enough.
The quality was a pleasant surprise when I opened it. Looks every bit as smart as it did in the photos. There IS some weight to it, but it feels reassuring rather than cumbersome. Money well spent, in my opinion.
an umbrella was what my 6 yr old asked for at christmas, and she was thrilled! it gives her a good bit of cover. she manages the opening button herself and i help her finish pushing the pole down when she's done.
Handled a blustery shower nicely for us. My big fella has enough cover stepping out of the car, which was what I wanted. That push-button opening makes life so much simpler with your hands full. Money well spent.
A present for my daughter. She took it out that evening for dinner with friends and they ran into wet, windy weather. It stayed the right way round the whole time . She said her friends thought it was a good one.
Rain came along soon after I bought it, so I tried it on my way into work. The flag outside was flapping about but the umbrella stayed nicely open, and I was dry when I got inside. Ended up buying my mom one too!
Arrived promptly. nice finish. Opens with a proper spring! Covers more than I expected once it's up. No rainy outing for it yet, though I don't see anything worrying. I'll add to this if using it changes my mind.
Picked this up and it's a winner! Handles everyday gusts nicely, and using a button instead of wrestling the canopy is brilliant. Good cover when it's raining without being huge folded up. Well worth what I paid!
My wife works in a tall building where the wind whips round the entrances. After losing a couple of umbrellas she needed something solid. This has been good so far, and the construction seems reassuringly sturdy.
Really enjoying this umbrella, a plain, almost old fashioned look with the handy button--i love how fast it springs open. In very windy weather i do find it a bit of a handful, but I'm not exactly a large person.
It opens wider than i expected and the frame feels pretty solid. Haven't had it out in rain yet, but it looks like it should hold up well. The design looks nice as well, and for the money I think it's a good buy.

I went for this because tiny umbrellas never seem to cover me enough. This a good size once opened, but still folds away when I am done. The button makes opening it simple (which is handy). I like using it a lot.
My little boy insists we take the umbrella every where, rain or sunshine. He's only 2 and a half so I help him carry it, but he loves standing underneath. I like the smooth loop handle, comfortable to hold on to.

Had it about a month now. Sturdy and smart looking, and it has coped with windy rain on my walk to lunch. Looks nice carrying it too. Been wanting an umbrella in this style for ages. Hopefully it'll last me well.
These do the job without much fuss. I wouldn't call an umbrella exciting, but staying dry is what matters and these have managed that. The kids like the gray, and for what we paid...I'm quite satisfied with them.
Lived in Chicago before and this compact umbrella got plenty of use in the wet, windy months. Still feels solid, the button makes opening and closing the canopy easy, and it slips into a bag or roomy side pocket.
Handles ordinary gusts well and folds down enough for the outside pocket on my bags. I could do with more coverage, though, as there's usually a large backpack or rolling bag that needs keeping dry along with me.
There's room for me and another person standing close together, and it should be useful for shade too. We haven't had much wind to test it in, but during the heavier rain recently I have stayed dry underneath it.
Sturdy, and lovely to look at. In Vegas mine gets more use for shade than for rain, although it seems perfectly suited to showers too. The appearance was what sold me on it and I have been happy with that choice.
Coverage has been good, even on the breezy days I've carried it. So far it's stayed the right way out. I can keep it high enough to watch where I'm walking and still have my shoulders nicely sheltered underneath.

Dog walking is a big part of my work as a Pet Sitter, so quick opening matters when I'm holding leads. Not as broad as the umbrella I had before, but the button opening and canopy closing make it very convenient.
Why do so many umbrellas feel like a compromise? Why can't they all be this straightforward? Smart looking, solidly put together and easy to pack in my work backpack...exactly what I wanted. Worth having a spare!
It looks more expensive than it cost...the gray is really nice. Clean, modern looking when it's open, with good coverage in the rain. The automatic opening was the main attraction for me and it works beautifully.
I bought a pair. Quality seems good and the handle is what sold me, really comfortable to hold. I'd recommend it to anyone. Paid a reasonable amount as well. Now have one handy without having to hunt round for it
Hubby isn't normally an umbrella person, but he was delighted with this gift. He like the size and has already used it while out at the grill in the rain. Says it'll be coming to the beach for a bit of shade too.
Love having this umbrella in the car! Plenty of cover when it's up, and the oval handle is comfortable to grip. Seems solid too. Mine has been rolling about in the trunk on quite a few trips and still looks good.
A handy size for traveling; packed into my suitcase with no trouble. Easy to open, and it didn't break on the first try the way my previous type did. Very pleased with this little umbrella and would recommend it.
A present for my boyfriend, who was overdue a decent umbrella. He loves this one and packed it for Scotland. It handled the wet, breezy days there well and was much less awkward to carry than a big golf umbrella.
I took two along to the local Renaissance Festival. Much less expensive than buying at the event, and they worked perfectly well. Both are still here ready for this year. Lovely looking and surprisingly durrable!
Lovely appearance. Neat and good quality. The button action worked without fuss. The pink fabric feels pleasant, not the rough material I had imagined... gives the impression of something to use beyond its price.
