Seems sturdy and i can imagine getting a few years from it . takes some effort to pack away though (button shuts the canopy, then you push the shaft in till it clicks ), could be awkward if your hands aren't strong
I like the umbrella overall - Getting the fabric folded neatly takes me a bit of fussing. The canopy closes with the button, then I push the shaft back down by hand. Cream white looks nice once it's all opened out.
My husband received this for Father's Day to take golfing. Only one wet round so far, thankfully, but he said the canopy gave him plenty of cover. He likes having something that packs away without taking much room.
This was a Christmas gift for my daughter. The appearance is nice and for the price it's a decent everyday umbrella, nothing particularly fancy, like one you'd pick up when the rain catches you out.She's delighted!
Excellent build for what it costs - gives me confidence it should last. A little more weight than some umbrellas, yes, but that seems a fair trade for something that feels this solid and gives such decent coverage.
Oval loop handle and neatly finished fabric [quite a substantial feel] - for the money I didn't expect something that looked this good and felt properly made. Happy with it, quick arrival and a really decent price.
I still seem to leave this at home whenever the rain starts, but it's a nice umbrella. Hadn't realised the canopy opens and shuts with the button, which was a pleasant surprise. Paying more seems pretty daft to me.
Neat folding umbrella for some shade. Watching the grandchildren swim or play sports in the Hawaiian summer gets hot very quickly. Sitting under this canopy is much more comfortable than being out in full sunshine.
Two kids here. My son's old umbrella broke so this was his replacement. He's four now and likes having his own one. The button is manageable for him, though I help pack it away, and the size has worked well for us.

My son was delighted to get his umbrella. The plain black looks smart rather than childish. I think it suits anyone really, not something styled just for boys or girls, which was one of the things I liked about it.
Took this along for our wedding photos at the vineyard where we married. I'm so pleased we included it, the cream white canopy looked lovely beside my dress with all the green vines behind us. A really pretty prop.
It has handled windy rain well for me and I feel sheltered under it; however, there's some heft to it. Anyone with problems in their hands, arms, shoulders, etc., may be more comfortable holding a lighter umbrella.
Fantastic umbrellas! My 6 and 10 y/o boys LOVE theirs! More cover than I expected, though I hadn't looked properly at the size. Lovely finish and they feel well made. Both came neatly packed, which was nice to see.

Nicer in person than I expected from the photos. It has a solid feel to it, not that flimsy plasticky feeling some umbrellas have. The materials seem proper ones, not something made just to look nice. Really great.
Haven't been out with it in really windy weather yet. It takes up more room in my bag than I thought it would, so I don't always carry it just in case. Still, it covers me adequately in rain and seems quite sturdy.

Been fine so far, feels solid and the flexible ribs cope nicely when it gets breezy. Has a bit of weight to it but the open size makes sense of that. Loop handle sits comfortably in the hand, button is easy to find
After losing my old umbrella to a fall storm, I wanted something less flimsy. The fabric, frame and handle all seem properly put together. Button opening has been dependable so far. A reassuring step up in quality.
Sits neatly in my backpack. VERY portable. Keeps the rain off, which is what matters. Three months of use so far. Has survived being squashed up against my laptop/lunch and the rest. Good value, would recommend it.

Compact enough for my handbag. I keep another small umbrella in my desk for unexpected showers, this one stays at home ready to take out. Wouldn't choose it for wild winds, but lovely for light rain and some shade.
A nice solid umbrella - easy to carry (not a flimsy thing), and the button is handy when I'm out walking. Even use it sitting in our hot tub in the rain :-) Definitely a one-person size rather than one for sharing.
My 9 year old wanted to choose her umbrella herself and picked this one. She manages the button fine. Keeps her school bag covered as well as her. She enjoys using it, and it looks like it'll last her a good while.

Excellent quality, easily my favourite umbrella so far! I've usually bought cheap ones, and this feels a lot more substantial. Gives me decent cover and the button makes opening and shutting the canopy feel smooth.

I wanted a shorter handle with plenty of umbrella overhead. Glad I went with this one though. It's held up nicely and two of us can get underneath. Still a bit of a struggle with the length when I get into the car.

Up to now it's been a very useful umbrella. I like the canopy shape and the cover it gives me in rain. Big enough for me without being awkward to handle when a breeze picks up.Good value. Looks quite smart as well.
There was a wait before it reached me, so I was relieved to get it safely. Tracking wasn't much help along the way. The umbrella itself looks solid and works well. A little weighty, but I'm pleased with it overall.

Living in Michigan means rain rarely arrives without some wind. This umbrella has handled the gusty showers I've used it in without giving me trouble! Having a sleeve to slip it into afterwards is a nice extra too.
I love how this umbrella looks when it's opened up. The dark underside makes a lovely contrast with the outside. It gives good coverage too. Everything works smoothly and it seems like a very good quality umbrella.
Enjoy using this, just wish the folded length was a bit less for my suitcase.It came overseas with me and was useful for rainy sightseeing, kept me dry while I wandered around looking at the buildings and lights :)

Great value for these! They do the job, and having umbrellas where I actually need them saves all the hunting around. One stays in the car, another at home, and the third goes with the sports stuff. So much easier.
I've used this sort of umbrella before and find it manageable, even in a breeze. The canopy shuts by button, then the stem needs a firmer push than my previous one. At 72 yrs it's still a very good umbrella for me.
The beige is so pretty! Even a few men have commented on it, which surprised me. It folds up nicely for my everyday backpack, so it comes along most days. I'd certainly suggest this colour if you're considering one
The cheaper umbrellas weren't much use in that wet windy NYC spring. Switched to this and I've had nothing to fuss over. You do feel a bit smug walking past people wrestling with theirs. would happily buy another..
I'd admired umbrellas like this in museum stores, but the prices always put me off. Finding this one online for less was a nice surprise. Works as it should, and the black looks smart even on a miserable rainy day!
Replaced my wife's worn-out umbrella with this. Her old one gave us six years. Held over the clubs, it keeps the rain off without having to lift a hood every time we need one. Much easier to get at things this way.
The sturdy appearance was what caught my eye, and using it twice has backed that up. I would happily buy the same again. A little more room for my hand on the handle would be nice, but overall I am pleased with it.
Took about ten days to reach me in canada. Matches what was described and feels well made. There is a faint rubber smell, maybe from the waterproofing as the fabric feels slightly rubbery too. i would recommend it.
wanted something me and my daughter could share...naturally the rain stopped as soon as it arrived so it hasn't been out much..on the few wet days we've had it's done a good job, including when it got a bit breezy.
These are a hit with the whole family!!! I've bought them as presents for young and old, men and women alike. Everybody enjoys them, though keeping hold of my own is another matter once someone asks to "borrow" it!
Its a sturdy umbrella.. Took it trekking in a rain forest and it kept me dry. Only thing is the handle shape, cos the oval loop makes you find the right angle for your hand instead of just grabbing it any way round
