Just the sort of umbrella I hoped for, love it! Keeping this for my daughter's Christmas present and I think she'll be thrilled. I was unsure how solid a folding one would feel, but this seems reassuringly sturdy. :-)
Carried this through a lot of wet, breezy weather in Chicago and it's held up nicely. I like having the canopy controlled by the button, and when folded it's narrow enough to slip alongside the other things in my bag.
More useful than I expected, and very nicely made. The handle makes it straightforward to carry around, while the folded umbrella stores neatly in my backpack. It also feels pleasant to hold for longer periods of use.
i got one for my husband and he's happy with it. Goes straight into his backpack. The loop handle feels nice in the hand and the whole thing feels solid. I can see myself getting a couple more for the men at Christmas
This was meant to be a Christmas present for my best friend, but I ended up ordering a second for myself. It looks beautiful! Mine has made me very happy and I can't imagine her being anything but delighted with hers.
I'm very happy with my umbrella. The look feels a bit different and suits me nicely. It came carefully packed and everything was in good shape when I opened it. Works nicely as well, so nothing to complain about here.
Fed up with umbrella's that can't cope with a breeze, I tried this. It turned over once but came back into shape without damage. Closing the canopy is easy; the firm push to shorten the pole gets easier with practice.
Perfect when I'm carrying my cello on my back! No long umbrella stick to juggle, and this one travels neatly with my bag. Beautiful material and nicely finished! Such a small change but so much more convenient for me!
After eight months of use it's still holding its shape, including on windy days. Coverage has been good and nothing has given me trouble so far. When the time comes to replace it, I'd be happy choosing this one again.
Picked up two to take to our local renaissance festival. Better value than buying at the event, and they gave us the shade we wanted. Still have both ready for this year's visit. Surprisingly durrable and very pretty!
Love the beige shade and the size, and opening it is easy. The sleeve is handy to slip on afterwards.My son walks to the library with me and we can stay close together under it, with our book bags out of the rain too.
Matches the description, although the loop handle isn't my favourite style (I generally prefer a curved grip). If you want the usual hooked handle look elsewhere, if the oval shape suits you then it's a good umbrella.
People keep commenting on how nice this umbrella looks. The cream white is a little different and I love it. It has felt steady on windy walks and the coverage is good without being awkward to carry along the pavement
My daughter love's this umbrella! She's three, so I help with the button, but the loop gives her something easy to hold. Nice cover when we're tucked in together and the whole thing seems good quality. A hit with her!
No chance to test it in rain or wind yet, but the build seems good. Calling an umbrella compact doesn't say a great deal if you mean small handbag compact and not simply smaller than one you'd leave by the front door.
Fits in my bag nicely without feeling flimsy. It's handy to have with me, and it looks cute too. The sleeve is useful for putting it away. I just need to keep folding it the way it came so it fits back neatly. Thanks.
The umbrella looks pretty and the construction seems good, I am very pleased with it. Would definately suggest it to others. It is useful for rain and also for a little shade, so I expect to get plenty of use from it.

The cream white top looks cheerful against the black underneath. Feels more solid than any umbrella I've had before. A tidy slip-on sleeve came with it too. Can see myself reaching for this in sunshine as well as rain
My daughters second birthday included this umbrella and she loves it! She was so excited to have one of her own. Rather big for her right now but she manages to hold it up fine. Being able to grow into it is a bonus!!

Solid feeling umbrella .Looks lovely as well .The mechanism does its job .Getting it back inside the sleeve is the only awkward bit ,you have to fuss with the folds.A zip in the cover would make that alot less fiddly.
The weight is fine and the folded length suits me, which is good. It's not a big umbrella. I haven't taken it into rain yet so I can't say about that. The oval handle feels different to hold, but it doesn't bother me.
Lighter to carry than I had imagined (not a nuisance in the bag). Pushing the shaft down does take a firm push, so I would help a child with it. Easy enough for me. The beige looks rather plain, but I like it overall.

Only thing I would change is the size. I had pictured a bit more room for two of us. Judging coverage from an online photo is not so easy.Everything else about it is great though and I'm very happy using it on my own.
this umbrella i got recently has been excellent we have had some wet windy days around here and it has done really well for me feels much better made than the ones i had before would definitely say it is worth getting
Bought this for my brother-in-law, who goes to London a lot.... wet and breezy weather never did his old umbrellas any favours. He used this after getting off his flight the other evening and said it stayed steady....
Kept its shape when I walked across a windy bridge. You do need a proper grip, though, as you can feel the wind pulling against the canopy. Otherwise it's done everything I wanted from it and I'd happily recommend it.

The photo made me hesitate because I couldn't quite tell how the black would look. A friend got one first, so I saw hers in person and liked it much better than I expected. That made up my mind and I'm glad I ordered!

Not something I would class as a toy! Our four year old granddaughter loves standing under it with us. It is a proper rain umbrella and seems nicely made, just bigger than something I would leave her to manage alone.
This one gets noticed! Nice design and has managed the breezy weather here in Newfoundland. The sleeve is the weak point for me, a little thin and fiddly to put back on. Still, the umbrella itself is a good purchase.
