I worried it might be awkward around campus but, getting through the little hallways and stairs has been fine once it's folded. Outside I keep the edge above my eyes the canopy gives good cover for me and what I'm carrying.
Used this at my wedding and it was just right. Looks elegant without being fussy. Made a nice bit of shade for the occasion, and being a proper rain umbrella means I'll carry on using it afterwards. Would happily recommend.
A fairly ordinary umbrella in the best sense. A little chunkier folded than some I've had, but works well. There is a sleeve with it, which is handy even though I don't always bother using it. Feels secure when packed away.
Used mine for a jellyfish Halloween costume (got the idea online) and it worked brilliantly. :) Decent quality for the money... the open canopy gave me the shape I needed. Really pleased with how the whole thing turned out.
Satisfied with it for shade, and the folded size makes it convenient to carry. The shaft does look fairly slender beside more expensive umbrellas, but for keeping off sunshine and a bit of drizzle it seems quite sufficient.
Fits in my larger handbag, but gives a good amount of cover once opened. The fabric feels substantial and folds back neatly; the ribs have a little give rather than feeling brittle. Seems a well made umbrella for the money.
Definitely recommend this for rainy+WINDY city days. It folds down neatly without feeling flimsy once open, and I've not had it turn into a water catcher on me. In Chicago, not having to lug a huge umbrella is a real bonus!
Nice looking but a bit disappointing for the money...the button action is fine and it keeps rain off. It's the weight and slightly bulky feel when folded that I don't enjoy, and the finish doesn't feel particularly special.
Tucks into my briefcase without hogging all the room and isn't a burden to carry. The oval handle takes up a bit more space than I'd like, so a smaller one would suit me better. Still pleased overall with how compact it is.
Generous cover in the rain. The handle shape takes a little adjusting in my hand, but it's a small thing rather than a real problem. I just hold it a bit more carefully if it's windy. Very happy with the umbrella otherwise.
When I left my first one on the bus, I didn't bother looking for anything different and ordered the same again. It feels sturdy in Seattle's breezy weather, and has a really smart look too. A purchase I was happy to repeat.

Very good for the money. About what a basic plastic umbrella costs at a convenience shop, and this feels a good buy. My only slight disappointments are the rather coarse fabric and the elastic band used to keep it wrapped.
It looks quite good, I haven't tried it outside but it's sturdy. It's bigger than I thought; two people can fit without any problem, almost a third too.
The size wasn't quite what I had in mind. I was holding it too far forward though. Bringing it back over my shoulders helped, and there was enough cover once I did that. Kinda particular about how an umbrella sits over me.
Ordered this as a birthday present for my wife and hoped she'd like it. She certainly did! She enjoys a nice looking umbrella and this one seems good quality as well. Looks promising so far, we'll have to see how it lasts.
Went for the gray one. Opening and closing the canopy works fine, though w/all this snow i haven't had many chances to use it. Feels much better than the cheap ones i kept picking up from the supermarket. VERY pleased w/it
Mine has been going for years so I picked up one each for my wife and daughter - the gray is nice, folds down to fit my briefcase but gives decent cover once open; I'd rather spend on these than keep replacing flimsy ones.
My grandson asked for just one thing from me for Christmas, an umbrella. When I saw this one it looked like a nice choice for him. He was delighted when he opened it. He's now watching the weather hoping he can try it out!
I'm pleased I got this at a much lower price than expected. It matches the description and is working nicely. Now it's just seeing how long it lasts, right? Summers in Japan are intense, so I'm sure I'll have use for it!
my wife is careful with her skin and wears sunblock, but the walk to work can still be baking hot. this gives her some welcome shade. she was so happy with her first umbrella that we added this folding one for convenience.

Love having this for shade! Opening it hasn't been a struggle at all, despite what I'd worried about from reading reviews. The canopy gives me a comfortable patch out of the sun, which matters a lot to me. Very pretty too!
Bought a pair because I was tired of fighting umbrellas in the wind. Both have done well, though one gust did turn a canopy inside out. It went back into shape fine and they're still what i reach for when rain is forecast.
Is it better than the umbrellas I normally use? Not particularly. Worse? Not at all.I am fairly picky about quality and this feels up to the same standard. It gets used just as often as the others and keeps me equally dry.
Picked this out for my daughter and she's happy with it. The button means no fiddling with a catch under the canopy. It stays open firmly and folds in easily, then I push the shaft down by hand. Feels like a good umbrella.

This opens out BIG. It feels solid and gives me a decent bit of space underneath. The opening action is quite lively, so I make sure there's room before pressing the button. A little weighty to carry, but a great umbrella.
Every time I take it out the rain stays away. Leave it behind and I get soaked. Clearly I have found the answer. Really though, it gives good coverage opened up and folds quite small considering how much umbrella there is.
My Mother's Day present finally got a try yesterday when the rain came! I love how bright the cream white looks. It open easily and has more cover than the folded size suggests. Practical AND a little lift on a gloomy day.

Well thought out umbrella with PLENTY of cover! I hadn't noticed the black underside in the photo, but I like that detail. Opens with very little effort, and feels surprisingly roomy for something that folds down so small.
Our big umbrella went missing and I wanted a replacement I would like even more. .........found one! Much handier to carry, keeps me dry and looks smart as well. The button makes opening easy. No more dreading a rainy day!
Keeping this one for my walks, I tried opening it and it all seems fine. Looks a good size for me and, maybe another person close beside me. Attractive looking and, everything moves as it should, I think it will be useful.
