Definately solid for our Hawaiian winter (rain and wind included). I should have checked the size though...pictured something MUCH wider. This is handy to carry and works well, but I may pass it to my husband if I decide I want more coverage.
Had it a few weeks, So far I'm enjoying it.The button puts it up quickly and folds the canopy when I'm done.It has felt steady in a breeze.Whether it'll last another season? Too early to say, but good so far.Arrival took a little over a week!
I have just unpacked my black umbrella and I am very Impressed with the finish and simple design.This is my first time buying these and I am happy with the result.I spent ages trying to settle on a colour, then ended up ordering two in black.
Good coverage, handles feel firm, and they've kept the Florida rain off me so far. One stays at work and another two in the car, which saves me getting caught without one. Recommended. Roomy when open, still COMPACT enough to put away easily.

Five stars from me because I hoped for something attractive and solid without spending a fortune. What turned up was a GORGEOUS umbrella that feels much better made than I'd expected for the money. An absolute bargain as far as I'm concerned!
Lovely size to carry. Looks quite elegant. People kept complimenting it, though I could use a little more cover. Such a neat looking umbrella. Left it unattended in a store for five minutes and it vanished! seems somebody else liked it too :)
Feels well put together, the button action is as smooth as any I've had, and the beige looks understated and smart. Getting it into the sleeve is a little fiddly, though that does leave a neat package when it's packed away. Delighted with it!
My husband's work takes him to the arctic, and this was his birthday umbrella. It looks lovely, but I wanted it to feel solid too, with the BIG gusts we get in Ohio. The build looks reassuring and the open size suits him. He's really pleased!
This has become my favorite umbrella to take along. It fits into my larger camera bag without too much fuss, yet opens wide enough for normal rain. I wouldn't choose it for a serious storm, but for everyday travel it's an easy thing to bring.
The fabric feels good and it keeps the rain off me. Pressing the button shuts the canopy, then I have to push the shaft back down, a bit awkward when I'm carrying things. Oh well, can't have everything. Still think the price was worth paying.
Easy to carry round the golf course and sturdy in the hand. I hold it for shade while walking, and the flexible ribs give a little when it gets breezy. My last umbrella snapped at the shaft in a gust, so I appreciate how solid this one feels.
The blue is a little different from what I pictured -- still looks nice. It's a good size for me, though not really for sharing with both kids. The frame seems sturdy rather than flimsy. Looking forward to bringing it along to football games!
What a cute umbrella. Takes up more space folded than I'd imagined, so putting it away is a bit of a fiddle, but I'm delighted with it otherwise. Looks tough enough for regular use. I like it enough that I'd happily choose the same one again.
I chose it for my granddaughter's figure skating competition. Pretty and neat without being too fussy. Useful as an everyday umbrella too, although I haven't owned it long enough to say how it will last. For the competition it was just right!
Better value than some much pricier umbrellas I've had. Comfortable to grip and has coped well on breezy days. The button makes it simple to use. As for expecting miracles in terrible weather, sometimes staying indoors is the sensible option!

Green looks great on this umbrella. A press of the button sends it straight open, which I like. The oval loop is small enough to sit comfortably in my hand without feeling awkward. I also like the plain black underneath; it looks quite smart.
Getting into the car used to mean fumbling with an umbrella and ending up wet.The button folds this canopy before I pull it inside, much less bother. Then I push the stem down myself. Cream white is my favourite colour too, so that's a bonus!
I'd ordered this for a floral decoration on the front door, and now want another to actually take outside. LOVELY quality. Opens with such a satisfying snap. Good size for my arrangement too. Funny to be admiring an umbrella on the door, haha
My five year old daughter has taken to this straight away. She manages the button herself (being her first umbrella, I wanted something straightforward), and it's a nice size for keeping her covered. She's had quite a few compliments already.
Little champion of an umbrella, for me anyway. Easy to manage and has stayed steady in a bit of wind. Brilliant! I keep one in the car, another in the truck and one in the hall, since getting caught out with no umbrella is not my idea of fun.
Does what it's meant to do. Folding down to a compact size is the big plus for me. Construction feels firm and substantial. The open coverage, though, is only average. Some other folding umbrellas I've used have given me more room underneath.
Living in Florida you get caught by rain a lot. This umbrella done a good job keeping me dry and hasn't turned over on the breezy days I've used it. I looked through the reviews before buying and they was right about it. A very Good umbrella.
My three year old granddaughter loves her umbrella. She gets excited when I press the button to open it. The black is smart and the whole thing looks good quality. My other granddaughter still uses the umbrella I bought her last year as well.
Handy for taking the dog out. If he stays close we both get a bit of cover, which means less water coming back into the house. He doesn't care about rain. Wind makes juggling umbrella and lead less easy. For our usual walks, I'm very pleased.

Got this as a birthday present for my 5 year old niece. She was delighted & wanted to carry it straight away. It's roomy when opened, a bit big for her really, but she likes having a proper umbrella rather than one she'll quickly grow out of.
The wind downtown can make an umbrella more trouble than it's worth. This one kept both my husband and me covered in blowing rain, and I never felt it was about to flip. For the solid construction and coverage, I consider it money well spent.

I knew Haven from umbrellas I already have. The handle is comfortable to hold onto. Opens up pretty big! Looks small folded but open it is not so small at all really. I get good cover. Just have to watch where I'm going on a crowded sidewalk.

I'd wanted a compact umbrella for a while and picked this for the oval loop handle and simple black finish. Once I had it, I liked it enough to buy another for a friend. The construction seems very good and the open size is just right for me.
Both the look and build were excellent. We needed four umbrellas for a show, rather than the three originally planned, and these suited the production very well. I appreciated having props that looked smart and were straightforward to handle.
Lighter to carry than I expected (no trouble taking it along). Pushing the pole back down takes some strength though, so I wouldn't expect a child to manage alone. Fine for me as an adult. The blue looks a little plain, but I'm happy overall.

Haven't taken it out in rain so far but the frame feels solid. it has some weight to it, so anyone with sore hands might want to bear that in mind. Opens wider than I expected for a folding umbrella, a good amount of room for a larger person.
A very neat looking design, smart rather than showy. Feels robust as well, which is reassuring. I haven't measured the canopy, though I'd say it gives similar cover to a typical stick umbrella when it's open. The sleeve is useful for storage.

This started out as my umbrella for travelling years ago. It goes in my day bag, or a raincoat pocket (mine are admittedly very deep). Somehow it became the one I reach for all the time instead, and it has been working well for everyday use.
The umbrella I chose for my boy at Christmas was exactly what I hoped for. Matches the pictures and seems very well made. I was especially glad it arrived in time to wrap up for Christmas, so there was no last minute worry about his present.
Definitely has a bit of heft. The payoff is a decent canopy without a long umbrella rattling around in the car. I leave mine there rather than hauling it everywhere. Plenty of cover for me when I need it, and it folds into a sensible length.
Had bought one previously and it went down well, so when a colleague was having trouble with her old umbrella I gave her one of these.The reaction was just as good.She likes being able to tuck it into her bag rather than carry it separately.
I've stuck with these umbrellas for a good while now. Strong, nicely made and good looking! I appreciate something that lasts. Being able to open it and collapse the canopy with a button makes a difference when I'm already carrying too much.
